Apparently, I find the not so interest part of you guys the most interesting part.
Hi Patrick & Michaela... I was waiting for my Thalia merch to come before I posted a comment, well it came in the mail yesterday, I purchased a handy dandy tote bag, a sticker and a t shirt, these would all be great for gifts but I'm for sure keeping them for myself (not trying to be selfish!) but some self care is sometimes needed LOL!! Love the t shirt it is 100% cotton heavy duty, the tote is perfect for carrying my "stuff" around and the sticker, well I don't know where it's going just yet but I will find a place for it! Thanks for offering good quality merch!!
We are so thrilled to hear that the merch turned out so well! We ordered quite a bit ourselves to quality check it and are so happy people have been happy with what they received! Thank you so much for the support! It is so awesome to get to share some art while providing something more physical back to our supporters that has real life use! Honestly again just thank you so much for being here with us! 🎉⛵☺🍀
You were supposed to seal all around the station base but the groove that lets the water out
I think that is effectively what we did no? I feel like with the amount of sealant we used and the fact it was all the way around the base except for the back that it should let water leak out. I think we will have to test it to verify though! Thanks for the advice! ⛵🎉
👏👏 Another awesome video!! Well done as always! Boats looking better and better! Hope to see some more awesome drone shots of her under way! 🔥❤❤
Honestly we can not wait to get the drone out while actually sailing! Especially in the Bahamas! Thanks so much for joining us on another week of adventure, it really does mean the world to us! 🎉⛵🍀☺
Michaela you don't need makeup your beautiful with out it. Great video guys.
So sweet! Thank you for the kind words and checking out this weeks vlog! ⛵🎉
Nice to see you guys again!
Nice to hear from you as well! 🙂🎉⛵
As always loved your episode.. I enjoy Patricks projects,,
So glad to hear! Just a bit more to wrap up and then taking off! (well, we took off yesterday, but videos will show that in like two weeks lol) Thanks for watching! ⛵🎉
Hey, you can get your man card suspended for doing that stuff
lol if it can get suspended so easily what is it really worth 🙂
Brilllllliant - thanks for sharing ⛵️ 👍
🙂😊 Thanks for watching! It means so much to us to have you here on our adventure with us! 🎉⛵
That was a fun video, great job 👍
It certainly had a lot of laughs! Thanks for watching! ⛵🎉
Is there something special you use to clean the solar panels?
Honestly there is probably something you should, but we just used boat soap because it is what we had available and seemed to work fine. Sometimes just have to work with what you have! Thanks for watching! 🎉⛵
😱😱Bronzer . . On a boat . . Omg . . 😄 Hey team . . Looking so relaxed now . . Its realy coming together . . So pleased . . Take care till next time . Bye from NZ👍👋🇳🇿🙏twa
It really is coming together, but can't wait to take off and have it all fall apart again lol Thanks so much for being with us on our adventure, it means the world to us! 🌅🍻🍀☺😎🎉⛵
Patrick…you should have watched a TH-cam tutorial on how to apply makeup first….lol. Love your playfulness 😍
😂 Where would the fun be in that! What a silly section of the video but lots of laughs to be had. Thanks for watching! 🎉⛵
Looking forward to seeing some wind on your sails
Same! But you won't have to wait long! I can't believe it has been 3 months of sitting in Annapolis, time really can fly by when you have a lot going on. Thanks so much for sticking with us (but we did some sailing south yesterday, just need the videos to catch up with that 🙂) Thanks for watching! ⛵🎉
Patrick, don't quit your day job just yet! You are close but just not ready for Hollywood!
Maybe just one or two more times and I will be ready for the big show 😂 Thanks for the encouragement and being here with us on this weeks video!😂 🎉⛵
You do a great job!
Thank you so much! We certainly are trying our best here 🙂 Thanks for being here with us! ⛵🎉
Please never think you're not doing enough in your videos, you are doing TONS without even thinking about it. Just keep doing you.
Honestly, thank you so much for saying that Kourt! Sometimes I think it can come down to a little bit of comparison being the thief of joy. We are so grateful for what we have and are so proud of how far we have come, but sometimes can just be tricky when you see others putting out so much or very high quality content that we aren't actually providing enough. We really are doing our best and can't wait to be sharing more of our adventures heading south to paradise (we just took off yesterday!) but just need a bit of time to get down there! Thank you as always for being such a supportive part of our journey! ☺🍀🎉⛵
You guys are perfect just the way you are and I'm proud to know you...
Thank you so much! We really appreciate the kind words and you being here with us on our adventure! 🎉⛵
Patrick about the sica flex tube, You were raised the right way get the most bang for your buck. I love how frugal those of you are it is a rarity in your age group these days. Makes me proud I can only imagine how proud your parents must be of both of you. Michaela he messed up the makeup but he can never mess up that beautiful face. You too when you look at each other and smile it is just heartwarming You both have a beautiful smile and are such a good looking couple. I only wish the best for both of you this day forward for the rest of your lives. As always stay safe and God bless
Thank you Kris! We married at 18 so had to learn how to budget well, can't seem to get out of that mindset but we don't have a problem with it lol We really did have a lot of laughs and fun on this episode, if nothing else it brought us a lot of joy. Thank you so much for being part of our journey ☺🍀🎉⛵
Tip for the sealant, remove the tape almost immediately after applying sealant. Much easier to remove and wont damage the seal
Yeah, that is definitely good advice and something we thought of only after we were taking it off. One of those "Okay, project done until tomorrow" while not doing the one last step lol Thanks for the tip and joining us on this weeks adventure! ⛵🎉
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
😊🎉⛵🍀🌅
Loved the bit where Patrick did your makeup! Putting the blush below the cheekbones along with the blue eyeshadow was definitely a look!
It certainly was! 😂😂😂 Don't think it is going to hit the mainstream anytime soon, but you never know! Thanks for watching! ⛵🎉
You guys are so damned cute! It's probably a good thing y'all are TH-camrs though because Patrick might starve as a makeup artist. LOL! I think it might be easier to pull up the masking tape before the Sikaflex has cured, btw. Thanks for sharing guys!
Thank you! 😊 That is for sure true, definitely can't quit his day job 😂 Definitely right on the Sikaflex, makes way more sense to do while it's wet, but something to do for next time I suppose lol 😂 Thanks for watching! 🎉⛵
You kids make this old sea dog smile😊. A couple thoughts today. 1) make backing plates to use instead of washers for the stanchion bases. Over 30 years, we never had a full size backing plate pull out. 2) while you’re sticking screws through the deck, mount some big cleats mid ship each side. It will make docking much easier.
So glad that we can make your day a little bit better! Totally agree about the backing plate! Just need to get something to make some out of, but will come in time. Totally agree on the cleats! We have super small middle cleats and they are so annoying to use! Luckily we aren't docking very often, so it isn't much of a problem at the moment, but definitely on the list to do! Thanks for the advice, really appreciate it! ⛵🎉🙂
Great call on the backing plate

Great job! It was nice meeting you and being weird at you at the boat show. I didn't know what to do with your stickers, but now that we've closed on Mojo, they have a home.
Congrats on the closing! It was great to meet you as well, definitely did not feel weird at all! Well, except for the small world affect of you buying a boat we happen to know the owners of lol! Hope to see you on the water soon! 🎉⛵
That was brave, my wife would not let me do her makeup, but then maybe she knows me to well😂😂
😂😂😂 No kidding! There was no other outcome than it being a disaster, but Michaela gets what Michaela wants! Hope you enjoyed the goofy episode! Really appreciate you being here with us another week, means the world! 🙂🎉⛵
Patrick did a much better job with the makeup than I would have. There is no way my wife would even consider letting me give it a shot. Super nice cutting board. Enjoyed watching
Ha, it was certainly a job, but it sure does give an appreciation for how easy women make it look! Luckily it comes off pretty fast (except for the glitter, that is forever). It really is a nice cutting board isnt it! Thanks so much for watching, we really appreciate having you here with us Paul! ⛵🎉
Still in the Chesapeake Bay?
Yes, but not for much longer! One more video of boat work and then we will be sailing south! Thanks for watching! 🎉⛵
@ cool. Nice place to duck in out of heavy ocean weather. My wife‘s cousin has a house down in St. Leonard. Have you found any petrified sharks teeth? I can never find any.
Patrick!! Keep your day job!! lol...Michaela is still cute!! Love your videos!!
😂😂😂 Michaela can pull off any look! but yeah, I think I will stick to the boat projects and cyber security 🙂 Thanks so much for being here with us! ⛵🎉
Well, Patrick…. It’s a look!
😂😂😂 Now that is an honest answer! Not sure if it going to be breaking its way into the main stream anytime soon, but you never know! Thanks for watching! 🎉⛵
Great video and great job with the makeup!! LOL
😂😂😂 Thank you but idk if that can be called a great job of makeup. It was certainly a job of makeup though lol Thanks for watching! ⛵🎉
Watching you guys opening the gifts was truly beautiful. I am glad you liked everything. Enjoy the limoncello and vanilla
We can't thank you enough Chris! We are so excited to get those vinyls up and have been loving the cutting board! We will certainly enjoy it all, thank you so much for being part of our community and being so supportive of our journey, it means the world to us that you choose to spend every Sunday on our adventure! 😊🎉⛵
Chris, you are a legend
Spent summers in Michigan on the boat in a marina in the thumb area of Michigan and fall and winters on the shore of the St Clair river after a couple years there is a lot less time looking out the windows and/or ports. It still is something I miss being in Florida we choose to stay in the middle of the state to reduce hurricane damage. Definitely a good choice when your house cannot be moved to another area. Really love your real approach to living on a boat. yes there will always be projects to complete but it is the same on shore only usually bigger than on the water, Just finished relocating 3 yards of stone for a change n landscape (getting to old for this).
So true! Michigan is such a lovely place to be, and certainly less hurricanes to worry about! Makes sense why you picked the middle of Florida, stay safe down there! Thank you so much for the kind words! So true, if it wasn't a stanchion, it would be a radiator, or water heater, or dry wall. Projects always seem to find a way to pop up 🙂 It's funny though, now that we are sailing we sometimes look at land projects that would be fun to do, but that is far down the road for us. Thanks for watching! 🎉⛵😊
great job patrick!! with the boat and the makeup lol
Thank you for the kind words, but idk if that was that great of a job of makeup! Really makes you appreciate how easy michaela makes it look 😂 Thanks for watching! ⛵🎉
Thanks guys, good job. 👍🏻🐾
Thank you so much! Really appreciate you being here! ⛵🎉
Your boat is in beautiful condition! Loved the galley tour.
It really is! We love how loved she has been and plan to keep it up 🙂 Thanks so much for watching! ⛵🎉
Great to see the inner workings of the galley! It must be tough having to squeeze so much for the both of you in such a small (albeit large for the boat) space. One thing I'm curious about ... Are you able to have perhaps a bucket (or some other type of container) of sea water up on deck where you could chill your water bottles in? That way nature can keep your water cooled and it would free up space for your lil fridge next to the steps into the galley? Congrats on getting the fruit net up now. Bet you're pleased for the space it's freeing up elsewhere (or allowing you to buy more fruit than you otherwise would do). Brett and Marissa really make you two shine more btw. The energy you have when they're both around really comes through on camera and you all bounce off each other really well! Think you need to have them stalk you as you make your way down to the Bahamas lol (Ps this doesn't mean that you guys are "less" without them about, I just mean that they trigger a good vibe from you both when it's the four of you out together). And one last thing 😉... Did you have any luck finding out about the mug with your beautiful Manta Ray drawing on it? I did check the other day and it was still showing as unavailable so I'm hoping that it's just a case of waiting for stock to eventually arrive. Your drawing is lovely and I want one so that it's the first mug I put on my own boat when I get one eventually. I'll see it as a good luck charm for smooth sailing of my own 😎
You are right! You end up using quite a bit of space for supplies / provisions when stocking up, which kind of helps put things into perspective of what you need. You don't often find yourself keeping stuff that isn't helping keep you alive. That is an interesting idea about the water! It would probably work up here, but probably less well in the bahamas lol The fruit net is nice because we were previously just keeping it on the counter, so it was always in the way. Thanks so much for saying that! Definitely no offense taken! We also notice that we really light up around them, it has been such a pleasure to get to know them more and become good friends. I have emailed the company about the Manta Ray Mug and am waiting for a reply! They said they are looking into why it is like that and we should know shortly! Sorry for the delay here, we will get you an update in the next day or so!
@@patrickandmichaela Makes complete sense about only buying things that are needed to keep you alive. How do you calculate how much pasta or tins of beans that you'll need for a voyage? I'm guessing you need to have a sense for meal planning so that you can be sure to not run out of particular foodstuffs too quickly? The water thing should work just about anywhere. The science behind it is that as the sun heats the water in the bucket it evaporates this into the sky and at the same time should suck heat out of the bottles. If you find that water in the bucket is warmed up quickly (where you find yourselves in the Bahamas for instance) then wrap your bottles in wet towels and evaporation will work better under those circumstances. It's about allowing the water to use heat energy from the bottles to trigger the evaporation process. Thank you for sending the suppliers an email about the mug. Hopefully they can give you a positive response soon as that dark blue is a gorgeous colour and, for coffee, a bigger mug is always better 😂😉 Just reply on here once you know what's going on and if they can fix things I would dearly love to buy your Mantis Ray artwork. It would be so cool to be enjoying a coffee knowing that the artwork on the mug is inspired by your sailing journey.
Honestly, we have not been the best at provision planning on like, a week to week or month to month basis just yet. But we havent been that far off grid in a sense. It would be good to figure out before we end up in the bahamas though! So cool about the water! Will definitely give it a try! Some unfortunate news about the mugs! Currently, they just don't have them in stock, but also did not say when or if they plan to restock them, just that they are not currently available and have no further answers! We could add a black or "Dark Green" that isn't that dark of a green, if that is what you fancy! But also quite bummed about the dark blue 15 oz, that would definitely be our first choice as well!
@@patrickandmichaela that's the thing though - it's the lessons that you have learnt along the way about provisioning for yourselves for the boat life. Just shows that you're both just a couple of regular folk who are figuring it all out as you go. I wonder if there's an easy video there for showing the rest of us some of the lessons you've learnt? Could be things like, where you've overbought stuff and had to make do with the same meal until you've cleared whatever it was you bought too much of; we all know about the tins of fish you inherited lol, perhaps there's a discussion to be had about shorter life goods that you didn't buy enough of? Or whether you make bread now so you don't have to hope to make shop bought loaves last you for a journey? There's so many ways of getting it all wrong I think lol Gutted about the mugs!! That dark blue was/is gorgeous and having a larger sized coffee holder would be ideal! When you say the dark green isn't that dark can you give me a clue or can you compare to something? If there's a green in one of your videos it matches I have no issues checking to see if that's any good. I wouldn't object to a dark green, the thing I was ideally looking for was a darker nautical style colour for a larger mug.
Can I come for dinner?😃
😂 definitely, can be a floating restaurant lol Thanks for watching! 🎉⛵
A suggestion, your fire extinguisher, as a former cruiser and Gemini Catamaran owner, ur extinguisher should be moved to a location where if U should ever have to use you can escape safely with out running thru your fire, way U have it now is not safe. Just think about it. Capt. Jim

We have one on the other side by the bathroom, one large one by the main door entrance, and I want to say one in each bedroom, but those ones are technically expired (although i believe still pressurized). So the one we showed is really 1 of 5 that we have on the boat. Hope that makes you feel better about our safety! And thanks for the concern 🙂🎉⛵

I couldn't let you be the only one to go on a shopping spree!! I just had to shop your merch store and start stocking up on some Christmas items!! Thanks for another great video, see ya next week!!
☺ Thank you so much! Let us know how you like it! We really appreciate the support, it means the world to us! 🎉⛵🙂🍀

I think you had room for about $300 more food in the dingie!! LOL
Agreed! 1100 lbs goes a long way! It is surprisingly sturdy! Now, getting it all onto Thalia and put away is a different story lol Thanks for watching! 🎉⛵
I would say a medium size insta pot is a great idea. Still can fry stuff in it and is like a crockpot. Also makes great soup and killer Mac and cheese. Loving the videos keep up the great content.
Yeah I think that is what we are going to go with, just makes sense! Thanks for the suggestion and checking out this weeks video! 🎉⛵
I like your galley
We like it as well! Really works out for nearly everything we are trying to make 🙂 Thanks for watching! ⛵🎉
It’s a banana hammock. 🤣
Exactly 😂😂😂 Thanks for watching! ⛵🎉
I agree with Patrick, the fruit nest is nice, just wait and see if it is ok underway with weather. This is another very nice episode. You have any date that you will start down the coast? Love your episodes.
So beautiful! You can see how y'all appreciate your beautiful vessel!
We are certainly trying our best! it takes a ton of work to keep up with and there are spots we wish we were doing better, but we are getting there! Thanks so much for watching! 🎉⛵
Keeping bananas near apples and oranges will cause them to ripen faster.
That is good to know depending on when you need fruit ripened! Thank you for the info! ⛵🎉
You've reminded me that I have to plan for provisioning when I'm building the interior of my boat. I don't want to end up with everything in tote bags piled on the settee.
100% it is great to figure out where you can place things, especially with weight distribution! Pays off to do a little bit of planning! Thanks for watching! 🎉⛵
