Bro i have watched all your videos and i like them all keep it up, only one thing left that is the honeycomb and would like you to build it... Then will have more cleaner cutting... Guidance...

This didn’t help my situation in framing. I’m looking for a start point on the actual machine. Where should I place my fabric to cut? Center of the honeycomb grid? Upper left hand corner?? Where? I keep getting an error message. Stating I went far beyond my framing.

Just got my D1 Pro 20W, but when I put the material that came with the machine (piece of basswood approximately 8.25” by 6”) under the laser to be framed, the laser moves all over and way bigger than the wood and hits the edge and sets off the limit alarm…please help

Is it possible to process multiple elements as a single one without using the unite command? Grouping still processes each element individually. For example, an svg text to be engraved, if united will be processed all together but if not, it will be engraved letter by letter which is a lot slower.

My xtool creative space is not working. Do you have any suggestions

Thank you for this video. I need help because I dont know how to stop xtool from ungrouping my imported svg (image) automatically. Is there a way to stop it from happening. I like to get my files ready in Illustrator and import my svg to xtool but as soon as I import it, it ungroups every little tiny text and its really time consuming and hard to regroup them and re arrange them. Can you make a video explaining the different layer & color options. Thanks desperate i am :)

On my S1 I can put my cursor in the framing speed box and typing in speeds less then 80.

I need help for marking smaller objects. Especially smaller round objects like the wooden key rings they send you. The xtool wants me to mark the the key ring in 3 different spots.

Thanks for your simple explanation of the different functions for this software. Takes a lot of the unknown out of it for the newbie like me who just purchased the xtool d1 pro 10w laser. The hardest part is getting started when there isn’t an instruction book for the software.

I'm still confused. I added a new image to XCS, then click framing. That same image pops up telling me to push the button on the Xtool D1Pro. I press it and then the laser just moves in a big square pattern that's moving way past the purple business card (sample that came in the box). Does that mean it will engrave in the large pattern or what am I missing here? I'd expect "framing" to mean it will capture the material to be cut and therefore only move in the 2" x 3" square. Instead it's moving in a 12" x14" square pattern. Is there anyone who has a clear video instruction on how to properly frame so you don't engrave out of the area the actual material is set to?

What are the best ways/tools to cut SVG's in half or portions and then reassemble them for a final object after cutting (due to a smaller laser bed space than the size of the object you want to create)? Lightburn? Adobe Illustrator? Or any free programs? For example with the xTool P2 I'm limited to 27x14 inches. I'd like to create larger products by cutting images in half or more and then reassembling after cutting.

I designed a vector in Autocad and no matter what I try, It will not give me the option to cut it out, even by outlining it. Does anyone know how to get the cut option to cut out an object?

when i am through engraving, how do i remove the image form the screen and keep it saved?

I'm in the Foothills of Western North Carolina, my wife gave me a Xtool D1 Pro 5W for Christmas I'm just getting it assembled and about ready to start trying it out. Love your clear, concise overview of the XCS software, and learned more for your video than the dozens of videos I've watched so far ! Most video producers, are to involved in making content to make money from TH-cam, and showcasing how much they want you to think they know, instead of providing actual useful instruction ! Thanks again, you've gained another subscriber !

Just got my xTool D1 Pro 10W but need to get a Windows laptop to run XCS as I only have a Linux desktop PC. Any advice on specification of which laptop to get? I know xTool list the minimum spec, but what is the spec of the PC or laptop you use since you seem to get on just fine running XCS. I'm guessing I need Intel i5, but the higher the generation of processor the more expensive the laptop becomes. Thanks.

I did the framing and aligned it to my material however when the engrave actually ran it was off by about 1" from where the framing told me it would be? Any idea why it would do this or how to fix it?

Why is origin paint greyed out? I cannot select it no matter what I do. Maybe this is bc Im running on a Mac? I can enable the laser but not the move or origin options
