I’m definitely getting this car. Quick question let’s say if you’re at work and it’s the winter time, is there a way you can start the car from long distances instead of being close to the car? Is there an app you can use to start the car?
Yeah the BMW App allows you to start the car from long distances. The key also starts the car but you need to be close to the car. The app is great at winter to heat the car or hot summer days to cool the car before getting close to the X6!
I want an X6 so bad, however I have to be able to put my German Shepherd’s crate in the back for road trips, and with that visibility and trunk space, looks like I’m going to have to find another car.

I do have owned both of these vehicles. The Porsche is way too pricey it does handle better and it is usually faster than most high-end brands high-end brands however it’s just not worth it to get a Porsche Cayenne with enough power to brag about your spending 150 K all day and everything with Porsche is 20 K for upgrades with BMW you can get the best upgrades for about 10,000 Mercedes again you’re looking at 1516 Porsche is 20 to 50
Agreed! I like the value you get for the money compared to Porsche. And I like the packages BMW offers like the M package and Executive package ext.

In snowy winter weather, would you switch to winter tires or all-season tires on your X5 M?
I have a set of 20” winter wheels and tires. Then the stock 22” wheels and summer tires for summer.

but you can replace to carbon fiber aftermarket parts, easy. i have X3 and the trunk not just closes with boom sound it is also pops with even louder sound, i think it is something with the lock might be the way to fix it with some car lubricant may be

My mazda did the same. I called it rail rust from the pads. Eventually it did stop doing it once the rotors and pads finally wore out a bit.

Hello, could you describe more of what is happening with your left leg rubbing against the side "sill" (?). I wasn't sure exactly what you meant but it seemed a bit more major since you always have to exit the vehicle. Thank you in advance!

Yep every time I get out of the vehicle. My left leg rubs on the side sill. And the clear coat is a bit worn down. It can be buffed out though. Maybe it’s just me who does this. lol
@@cartherapy2.0 Thanks for the reply. At first. I thought you were referring to the compartment on the inside of the door. That lower open area. I thought your leg was always hitting that. But I believe you mean the thing on the outside of car that's designed to whisk water away from going inside the car. So you're jumping out to avoid hitting that and it's worn down some now. Is that accurate? I'm looking for pictures of a car door sill. Thank you!

Ill tell you my X5 M 20,000 mile review - nav system flickering, front differential failed, passenger window got stuck inside, right control arm front came off the wheel, part of my dash showing the RPM got a weird looking black stain on the inside. Thats it.

I prefer open pore wood (matte) which never has fingerprints and rarely shows dust…plus it looks really nice! Nice car, though!
Had that in my wife’s X3 M40i and loved it. Matte look, and yes no fingerprints!

Possibly. I would go to a few dealers in person. They all do things different for negotiations. Good luck! Remember you have the buying power. But also the market dictates price. There may be some dealers to negotiate if they need to move certain units.

Mine stays off in the day. It only turns on and stays on at night.
