    Just traded my 19 Porsche Cayenne S on 22 BMW x6 40i just like yours and totally agree. For daily use 40i is perfect. Plenty fast and comfortable. Wife just love the look of x6 and I do also. Are Cayenne s was faster and handled better but we never used the extra power. 40i is amazing on fuel for it size.

    Waiting for my new X6 to be delivered. I did get the M package. I live in far NW Wisconsin so they only offer the all weather 20 inch wheels. The rims are brushed chrome with black accents. I would prefer all black rims to match grill/front and rear bumper. I’m glad to hear your reliability has been good. Good video

    • @borghorsa1902
      @borghorsa1902 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      What wheels to choose, I know that 20 inch would be softer but 22 inch rims look nicer. The goal here is to make wheels look as large as possible to compensate for the "fat" rear portion of the car. The owner of the channel did a smart think by opting for black rims because they blend in with black rubber of tires, giving it a larger wheel look

    • @jimgaul67
      @jimgaul67 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I agree that the 22 inch look better. Unfortunately the 24 model does not have 22 inch tires available or black rims which would look better with the red calipers. Don’t understand this BMW decision. I love my X6 and now have 10k on it. The 375Hp is more than enough engine.

    Hello Ryan, how would you compare `x6 40i with Mercedes GLE Coupe 53 AMG ? Have you ever considered Merc. ? I know amg has little bit more power (435hp) also 6 cilinder , fuel economy for sure not so great as in 40i etc..

    Man, x6 4.0 is perfect! FYI tho: X6M is way nicer than X5M. X5M feels like a cow on steroids in comparison to X6M on track:) But wait for this one: I was personally considering buying X6M but it’s not worth it driving it every day. I just don’t need X6M to drive my kid to daycare every day. On the other hand, I got invited to an event to drive other other M vehicles and managed to try M4 CS on Mont-Tremblant racetrack and now… that was truly epic! Seriously started considering driving on a race track as a hobby after that experience. Hence, getting a separate race track only car, in a addition you X6 4.0;)

    • @cartherapy2.0
      @cartherapy2.0  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks! I think the stereo system could better. Base is good, but clarity, sharpness and treble could be better. The M60i has better options for the stereo system.

    Quick question let’s say if you’re at work and it’s the winter time, is there a way you can start the car from long distances instead of being close to the car? Is there an app you can use to start the car?

    • @cartherapy2.0
      @cartherapy2.0  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yeah the BMW App allows you to start the car from long distances. The key also starts the car but you need to be close to the car. The app is great at winter to heat the car or hot summer days to cool the car before getting close to the X6!

    What made you choose the X6 over the X5 if you consider the practicality. Prefer the aesthetic on the X6?

    • @cartherapy2.0
      @cartherapy2.0  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yeah when I first got into the X6 I preferred the sportier feel in the cabin and unique exterior looks over the X5. But I think for practicality on a daily basis the X5’s cargo space is really nice.

  •  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

    Just a heads up, brakes aren’t the ones who stop the vehicle faster it’s mostly your tires

    • @cartherapy2.0
      @cartherapy2.0  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Ah that makes sense because the summer tires on the X6 are super grippy.

    Always wondered why people make videos of their vehicle at 10, 20, 30, or even 40k miles. Does it really matter when said vehicles are still under warranty? How about same markers, post warranty. For instance 20k miles past its 50k mileage, therefore a great video at 70k miles, and what has happened, and what's needed to keep it safely on the road.

    Ill tell you my X5 M 20,000 mile review - nav system flickering, front differential failed, passenger window got stuck inside, right control arm front came off the wheel, part of my dash showing the RPM got a weird looking black stain on the inside. Thats it.

    I do have owned both of these vehicles. The Porsche is way too pricey it does handle better and it is usually faster than most high-end brands high-end brands however it’s just not worth it to get a Porsche Cayenne with enough power to brag about your spending 150 K all day and everything with Porsche is 20 K for upgrades with BMW you can get the best upgrades for about 10,000 Mercedes again you’re looking at 1516 Porsche is 20 to 50

    How do you people buy these cars, I sit and wonder about that so much, what do you guys do for work, how y'all make such buck to make it a reality?
    I work my butt off but this is only a dream, I haven't taken a single day off for 2 years straight, I didn't even take a single sick day in these 2 years, and still I'm world a far from buying an X6.

    • @cartherapy2.0
      @cartherapy2.0  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +11

      That’s a great question. I thought the same through my 20’s and early 30’s. My first BMW was a 2008 335i and I was able to afford that car because I owned a business in the health industry. I was working in construction (long hours) for most of my 20’s and had dreams to own nice cars but couldn’t afford it. I got the 335i after starting a business in the health niche. Then I transitioned to business coaching. Then got a 435i, M4 and X3 M40i now the X6. I learned after many failures having the right vehicle and leverage is key. And great mentors to teach you how to think different. My mindset was so bad. It’s something I work on to this day. Oh, and going into the dealership to look at these cars helped me alot. Keep going you’ll get your dream car if you have a vision and take action.
