For this particular speedrun I've done like 1k attempts until I got this run I was satisfied with.

I don't want to get a perfect on that bonus stage, because I will end up losing a few seconds due to the score tally at the end. This is a speedrun and the objective is to be as fast as possible and getting a perfect on that bonus stage means I will lose 3-5 seconds because of the "perfect" score tally. @deviouxFGC fair enough what about 3rd strike? Can you parry everything and finish quickly? This old version was so predictable...

It's not a fail, brother. That's a win/win for me. I don't want to throw him, I want him to hit me first, because then he will start throwing fireballs afterwards and I can jump in on him and get big damage combos, which is exactly what happened.

It's one of those combos that you just HAVE TO KNOW and be able to execute it with ease, if you wanted to be competitive in the arcades back in the day. Thanks for watching and commenting.

That is actually true, it's not a myth or a lie. There is a "special ending" if you finish the game without losing a round, but it's for the rolling credits, not for the character story. The special ending is that you get to see each character break barrels or crates while the credits are rolling. I left only like 3 seconds from it right at the end of the video.

That's just incredible. Somehow he managed to speed everything up EXCEPT the background music and the announcer voice. That is some next level sorcery this guy managed to pull... absolute wizard...

I found it very difficult to play Tekken after playing SF. It just didn't feel right, but both are very good games.

Do you not see the input overlay? This speedrun has been verified and approved on speedrun.com by knowledgeable admins and I have provided the INP recording for it, which validates the inputs and the difficulty. The uppercut is hard to pull of you're a beginner, and clearly you are a beginner, but that's perfectly fine, everyone is at some point. I have over 20k hours of gameplay time on SF2. I can do 100 uppercuts in a row with my eyes closed... Thank you for sharing your noob opinion though, much appreciated...

Absolutely incredible...

That is what made me curious about the game. The SF2 cabinets were the only ones which were surrounded by people waiting to play. I knew I had to give it a try and i got hooked within minutes.
