Thank you. There is a lot of time and effort put into these speedruns. There are literally thousands of failed attempts before some successful attempts get completed. By doing that, you will eventually learn everything the AI wants to do and you'll be prepared to deal with it, that's why it might seem "easy" at times, but it's actually a pretty big grind to get there. Why do you use Ryu and not Ken? Don't Ken's dragon punch combos do more damage? I haven't kept up with all the game variations, so I'm sorry if this is a dumb question.

Dee Jay is very annoying for sure and T.Hawk too, these two are most annoying I'd say, but all the New Challengers are more annoying than the old cast. It does depend who you're playing, indeed. Ken doesn't struggle too much and Ryu neither, but when it comes to speedrunning, Dee Jay and T.Hawk ruin pretty much most of the run attempts. Thanks for watching and commenting!
All the characters can be used to "speedrun", I just don't have the patience to do it :) I prefer to run my best characters and try to put in very optimized times. I do like Zangief tho, so I might actually do him at some point, but Honda probably not :)

This is Super Street Fighter 2 (The New Challengers). Akuma was first introduced in Super Street FIghter 2 Turbo, so that's a different game, it's the version which came after this one.
I think I will do some runs on Super Turbo, but I'm not sure if on the US version. Don't think this is hardest difficulty.. i played this game more than 10 years and i know for sure that the hardest difficulty cpu is not that passive..
It is on hardest difficulty. I've shown the difficulty screen both at the beginning and at the end of the video and this speedrun has been verified and approved. Maybe you're confusing it with Super Turbo. And the CPU is not passive at all, maybe just on the first fight, which is always like that, but other than that it's quite aggressive.
Your video it's edited, the AI never have thouse reaction in the top hard, and I know because in very hard the blows of the artificial intelligence take more energy than what they took from you, your game is on normal or easy!

You can clearly see I'm doing less damage than on my run on normal difficulty. Compare the fight versus Sagat on my normal difficulty run and this run. You can clearly see how I'm doing less damage to Sagat by at least 10-15%. It's also very clear the CPU does more damage than on my run on normal difficulty. You're trying to sound like you know things, but you don't. Keep hating.

did this version not have a turbo select like the SNES version in the US? if so, why not put the turbo to max?
The turbo select works only on consoles and this is arcade, so you can't do it.
