Republic was real serious about not letting any carts be left behind. You hardly see such a roll in of this magnitude with crews immediately following behind a garbage truck. Glad you were able to capture it, awesome variety of trucks including the PakMors!
Yup they made sure to get pretty much all of them, they even knew if residents were out of town and wouldn’t be able to put the carts out. It was honestly a super cool experience and unlike anything I’ve seen before. Glad you enjoyed it!
@@andrewthetrashkid1435 Wow. I guess they’re expanding even more. Here in Arkansas CARDS is doing something similar, they won two big contracts from WM.
I think they figure it’s just easier considering they are older and made out of a different kind of plastic than the newer ones but most were still in good condition

@brianspencer6955 Just because it's a small town in Texas does not mean that all these cans are going to landfill. Pretty sure these went off to recycle to they could make a quick buck

Honestly extremely impressive work by republic the way they did this. Nice work documenting cool to see
Thank you sir
So that's were those Arlington division trucks went to. This was cool, it's like Republic services one last thank you for 20 years before they left.
Yup we got one Arlington Pete 5000 and a Granite McNeilus from Lewisville
I hope these trucks can go to Fairfax VA
None of the trucks will be sent away, we only send trucks between yards in Texas
@@andrewthetrashkid1435 yeah I know because we gave leach 2r2 In Dallas don’t you remember
RIP to those poor AW carts.
RIP Waste Connections of McKinney and Republic of Fair Oaks Ranch. Frontier took both contracts 😢
Those are only a couple of the contracts they have taken over recently
@Frontierwasteofmckinney Yeah, I know, and they’ll also work on other contracts

Technique was awesome by Republic sucks they
lost it 😕
I agree
So does this mean that the republic employees in Fair Oaks will lose their job ?
No sir they will be moved to other routes
Why are they throwing away old trash carts
What i wanna know is why throw away all those good karts that im sure can be replaced with a lot of broken one's..makes no dam sense

holy shit frontier is stealing so many contracts. Next thing you know frontier will be the only company in Texas lol.
They are growing like wildfire over here
Awesome video bro
Thanks
@@andrewthetrashkid1435no problem
Instead of having rear loaders pick up the older carts, why not just have the ASLs pack them? They’d save money by having less trucks on the road.
Frontier sucks
fuck do they really have to do this?
Way to go republic. Tons and tons of plastic for the landfill.
Not technically if it’s a load of straight cans they can get recycled
At least it was fun to watch?

@Cos.1s this is a small town in the middle of Texas. Republic rarely recycles cans anyway. there's no way they recycled them.

BRO WHY IS EVERYONE LOSING THE DAM CANTRACT TO FRONTIER (nah i hope they start complaining about frontier)
They're undercutting bigtime...every company coming up does the same thing..Tiger, waste connections metro..they all did it
