I absolutely DEVOURED this book. Like for the first few chapters, I shipped Lenox and Blythe together because the story seemed to be more built up with them, and the moment where Lennox wanted to kiss Blythe because of how close their shoulders were when Lennox decided to write down her name, my jaw dropped. But those Blythe and Lennox moments compared to the CAVE MOMENTS of Annika and Lennox?? Like it changed my perspective REAL QUICK. 😭
“The Siren, The Betrothed, The Betrayed which I heard aren’t great” EXCUSE ME WHAT!?!? Personally I think they’re amazing. Maybe not as good as The Selection but they’re still worth reading.

SPOILER ALERT I’m currently at the “what’s your favourite constellation part” and I’m having a hard time imagining how I can root for them after what he did to her mum. It’s hard bc by this point I really like Lennox, but I don’t see how Annika can start having feelings for him… I trust Kiera’s writing and I will keep reading, I just wish she had wrote that he was involved in capturing her mum but was not actually the one who killed her. Anyone agrees?
I am SO glad you thought it was cute! I just was kinda cringing for some reason? I think because they both spoke the same sentence when reflecting on the memory & it didn't feel very realistic to me? 🤷♀️
Girl no Please I BEG YOU to read the Betrothed and the Betrayed for yourself, they are WAAAYYYY better than you think they are. I personally prefer them to the selection ❤
The Selection is a personal trashy fave and I do agree with other people's opinions with The Betrothed duology. However, I truly loved A Thousand Heartbeats. I think Kiera Cass has really improved her writing with that book.

I loved The Selection, A Thousand Heartbeats, and The Betrothed duology! Makes me sad everyone doesn’t like it🥲 but I can see where people are critical about it but I enjoyed them and got me out of a reading slump. The only one of Kiera’s catalog I really didn’t care for or enjoy was The Siren

I loved this book!!!! My one request was to get more of the after war and after they got married.

You should read the Ash Princess series by Laura Sebastian.
