Yu-Gi-Oh! The Movie (1999) - 16mm Clips with Sound

This is an edit of the Film Scan from the "Rush Print Clips" reel that Kineko Video released a few days ago. These have been edited to include sound from the original movie & placed in the order they appear in the movie.
Some parts are slightly extended, and some parts are missing VFX due to this being from a Work In Progress Reel. That alongside the footage being open matte means that it doesn't match the film's official release 1:1. I did attempt to restore Yami Yugi's transformation, as some of the VFX for it was present in the real.

It's kind of strange how young duster looks here. He looks like a young teen, although since the time skip was originally going to be longer, maybe he was going to be the same age he was in the GBA version in the end.

Thank you. I was on the project for a short time to help with accuracy, but it was very disorganized.
@@snow_wood oh gotcha. yeah earthbound/mother fanprojects really suffer from disorganization. Keep doing what you're doing though. I think this is honestly maybe more important because it's the only real way we can experience this game in the absence of a serious fan project.

I am divided... On one hand, I see why they did what they did in the original game. Without dialogue, the whole scene is hard to swallow and feels empty. On the other hand, I always felt like Hinawa inexplicably coming back from beyond the veil was somewhat melodramatic and out of nowhere. I still kind of like this more stoic interpretation. It just sits right with me.
