I can understand your excitement, but you better check the frame for rust damage, keeping fingers crossed, hoping for no nasty surprises.
We really like the Urban Safari Porvoo sticke,r where can we get one for our LR,? Thanks
@rachelmcbride7542 I had the sticker printed for me. I have somewhere an extra one. If I happend to find it I'll comment again and ask for your adress and send it to you 😊
I love Moonraker! It’s my favorite Roger Moore film and 6th favorite Bond film overall. Something that gets lost in a lot of internet over analysis with these films is just how the films make you feel. I think Moonraker has such a unique aesthetic power and confidence and charm in its performance that make it so endearing. It’s just fun. All the dumb parts don’t detract much from how you feel during it.
@@Swrdfshtrmbns Yes, well said! 👌👍😊
I had a friend who owned a really expensive top of the range car and an old defender. He absolutely loved the defender. He loved helping people who were stuck. He swore his defender would go anywhere. It was his pride and joy. Bless him.
Aloha from Hawaii! Currently have a Land Rover Perentie, but I’ve owned quite a few series as well. Cheers
@jdenmark1287 Hi there! Nice to hear from an other LR fan! Had to google what the Perentie is, but now I know😊Cool! Stay safe and have fun with your car!
Just an incredible build. You are a true artist and craftsman evidenced by all of your amazing creations. The Bond Community is grateful to you for sharing your work and expertise.
Only in a Series Land Rover it's just simply a way of life.
nice collection im was dont see this ericcsson stand everywhere
@@marcinxsinski Thank you! They used these kind of stands in shops or at fairs. I thought that it fits well for the Bond phone too😊
The part that attached to the PVS4 Night Scope is an IR Laser that could be a prop or even a real thing. IR Laser were a rather new thing in 1986, and it wouldnt surprise me if Walther built the gun using these parts as a way to advertise the new gun. It was Incredibly high tech set up for 1986-87
After you convert it to electric ⚡️, it will be as it’s supposed to be😊😊
It is gorgeous! Very well done! It would look great in a bond museum or part of the bond traveling exhibition
@@oneone1795 Thank you! It was a fun build😊👍
I wonder how the LR4 would have done on rock mode, so it would lock the center and rear differentials
We should have tried that👍 Now the Disco has become Range Rover, so we can't do the same test again, sadly😁
Hey, I really like your videos. I wanted to build a gun a long time ago. I saw an Ares WA2000, which was a replica Airsoft gun. And problem is the "AN/PVS-4" scope and the laser sight on the right side of the gun. I had to cancel the project because I couldn't find it. Can I have a 3D model of the laser and night vision? It will make my dreams come true.
Send me an email, and I'll reply to you 😊 klaus@peoples.fi
First of all, LAND ROVERS DON'T LEAK OIL. THEY'RE MARKING THEIR TERRITORY!!! They're like driving a farm tractor with a car body on it.❤❤❤❤❤
Good stuff
Upea on! Vaatinut varmasti tunteja.
Kiitos🙏 Saab-proggis kuulostaa hauskalta! Ja Moonraker on yks mun lemppareista ja sieltä löytyy paljon propseja ja muuta rakennettavaa👍😊
@@fromfinlandwithlove5276 Turhankin paljon!

very cool
Thank you!🙏 It's funky gun😊
Hi this is George Vasquez, Ed Maggiani told me about you. I'm a fellow Bond collector and prop maker. Want to compliment you on the beautiful work and presentation recent prop editions. You do beautiful detailed and precision work. Most impressive the graphics used on the bag and display cases not to mention that rifle. I have the same but if not gone to the x amount to get the last piece I need which is the night scope. Your work is inspirational very very nice thank you for sharing with us sincerely George
Hi George! Nice to hear from you, and thank you for your kind comment🙏😊
Beautiful work. Once again. 😍
Thank you mate🙏🙏🙏😊
Morjens! Eriomainen kokoelma.
Interesting video - though it did look like the Defender had the better tyres with better snow grip. Did you use the off-road snow mode in the Disco? I did have all-season tyres with a similar tread pattern on my old X-Trai (I have a 2016 Disco 4 Landmark now) and I was in a muddy field once with all wheels spinning - luckily I licked the diff and (just) managed to get out. Now I'm looking for the best all-season, all-terrain tyres for my Disco that has the snowflake mark for legal winter driving in the EU.
I enjoyed the ending/it was fantastic Bond film as Daniel Craig,s last role as 007
Happy you liked it. I get it that it, in a way, was a fitting ending. But still, I never put on that movie since it doesn't make me feel good. And Bond movies for me are feel-good movies. /Klaus
Congrats on your purchase 🤩😍😁👏🤝🇫🇮🇬🇧🧑💼

Cheers from Canada my Friends!
Cheers! You get to experience the same kind of weather😁
Einen Tag Fahren und 4 Wochen schrauben, dass ist LR 😅
Its only obvious the defender has larger tires and more aggressive tires and a lot more ground clearance thats it any 4x4 with out enough ground clearance will bottom out on the frame. A fair competition would be a dry or muddy steep hills with ruts thats where the disco would win independent suspension traction control. the disco 3 and disco 4 have a nice balance very capable 4x4 but drives very smooth and quiet unlike older defenders or jeeps wranglers
My lightweight would show these up in snow !
Challenge accepted 😁
Its nice to see the fun in the snow. Guys you just needed to lower the Tyre Pressures down to around 15psi . Well we have winter in front of us, so go back to the same spot when the snow is down again and repeat the excersize, you will amazed at the difference the low Tyre pressures produce. No one likes Lowering the Tyre Pressures (basically we're all a little too lazy), being so familiar driving with on the road Tyre Pressures, and not taking account of deepening snow will get you only so far ! Then realistically, get out and reduce the Tyre Pressures
Never heard that used in snow. Would be interesting to try.😊👍
?? Im very surprised, before the advent of Snow Chains it was the normal thing to do (when Off Road, in the Snow). On the Road not so much, as you will get by with 4 Wheel drive. While I was in the British Armed Forces, the Rule with driving Land Rovers was "As with Soft Sand, so with Soft Snow" both will make you their prisoner, if / when you do it wrong. @user-hb2gv9su3v I know about using it in sand but haven't heard about lowering the pressure for snow. Interesting👍
This was fun! The first time you drive a series Land Rover, is an awakening! I have a 1966 S2A. No power steering, or brakes. With a single circuit and drum brakes, you REALLY need a strong right leg, and plenty of planning to stop. Watching that pedestrian walk out in the crosswalk without looking, at the beginning of your video made me push my foot into the living room carpet! Lol🤦🏼♂️ They do that here in California too!😱 Glad you decided to adopt the Landy. I think you’ll have fun with it.👍👍
It was a real experience driving one the first time. And that very evening I went googling for one to buy.... Love at first drive😁
I love your collection! I especially like the custom scaled Golden Gun display that you made! Thank you for sharing this!
Thank you for watching and for the comment😊🙏
Well done... very creative and your passion shines through. 👏
Thank you😊🙏
Happy New Year to you both! So much talent, and some wonderful new pieces. That jacket now has two impressive signatures encluded and looks amazing... so mucb better than the jackets my department issues us 😂
Thank you for your kind comment and Happy New Year back to you! 🙏😊
Ahappy new yr to you your wife/kids from me over in the UK
Thank you! And a very Happy New Year to you also🙏😊
The Disco 4 is awesome in snow… IF you have true 3 Peak tires on it. If you don’t, it’s the worst vehicle I’ve ever driven in snow haha. Probably due to it’s massive curb weight on such a short wheel base, about 2,000 lbs more than that D90. I had mud tires on mine and got stuck in my driveway with just a foot of snow. And the driveway is perfectly flat lol. But once I put the 3 Peak tires on it… it turned into a winter-tank. Up, over and through anything I pointed it at with zero effort 👌
Wow, would be cool to try it with those tyres!👍
Very cool James Bond collection that you hav their
Thank you!😊
The defender was doing some transmission knock (play?). Did you try diff lock on the disco?
You guys are hilarious, and look like you are having a blast! Great comparison. I have a Jeep JKU and recently got a 1966 series 2A. I will keep the Jeep until I die because it goes anywhere. The Landy is also fun and will see more action as it gets restored. Enjoying your channel.👍
Thank you for your kind comment! Jeeps are also very cool cars, never had one but have driven them. Good luck with the restoration : )
I'm happy to find someone else who likes For Your Eyes Only as much as I do. Nice Lotus!
Nice! It's just a solid movie with humour and action and nothing too ridiculous👌👍
A deep snow trick in the Discovery: If you lower the suspension, it will either pack the snow down giving you more clearance, or will raise the vehicle to extended mode if it can't lower any further
Makes sense! Have to try it👍👌
all this talk of technology. The new tech is only trying to mimic the stronger more durable functionality of the old tech. Electronically, it is the cheaper way to a result that as it turns out, is not better just cheaper. The Newer vehicle has more power and is more comfortable. Is this really great? so while you are stuck in the snow on a mountain road, you will be more comfortable. Both have their place in the world. When chaos comes to the world The defender will be far better at meeting it head on.
Where you had that Discovery stuck was pretty deep snow to be fair. The Defender is a lot more primitive - the technology is from the 80s, and even the vehicle from the 80s was just an iteration of what came decades before. So I think the Discovery has a better off road "system" with its excellent traction control. I would love a Discovery 4. But I can only afford to keep one Land Rover, so it had to be the Defender for me. How have I missed your videos on YT? First one I've seen. You will have a new subscriber.
The Disco us such a great car! And the Defender so much fun😁
In which mode are the discovery4 is lock the differential y the defender
The discovery was in low gear and snow mode.
Thats where you went wrong, put it in sand/cactus mode and turn off the dsc, give it some welly! @@fromfinlandwithlove5276
