I’m having a great time watching this! 😃 Thanks for the video and appreciation of the underrated Moonraker❤️ The score by John Barry alone should’ve won an Oscar.🤩 Kiitos kaverit! 👍🏼
Thank you! ...and that is true, Lotten is so gonna get fired!! Now she claims that the "official" partnership begun with Moonraker... I don't know, might fire her any way.. /Klaus
@@fromfinlandwithlove5276 Look, I don't want to tell you how to run your channel, but I would drive her to a forest with your two pet Dobermans and when the time is right...SNAP your fingers. Just saying.... ;) (nothing but love Lotten)
I love Moonraker! It’s my favorite Roger Moore film and 6th favorite Bond film overall. Something that gets lost in a lot of internet over analysis with these films is just how the films make you feel. I think Moonraker has such a unique aesthetic power and confidence and charm in its performance that make it so endearing. It’s just fun. All the dumb parts don’t detract much from how you feel during it.
Like you, I often wonder if Moonraker would have been better received if the combat occured without laser blasts. I appriciated the point that you made, where as a 10 yr old who didnt know who Bond was, it didnt matter if he was in space. An interesting perspective and totally males sense. I feel that the blasters "alienated" 😉 alot of older fans who liked a more grounded, "realistic" Bond world. I watched it two weeks ago and whilst not a favourite, it was still a nice way to pass an evening.
do you remember Dolly having braces on her teeth when Jaws first meets her and they smile at each other? I remember this clearly having watched it numerous times as a child on Betamax. When you see the film now; no braces.....
Yeah... the so called Mandela effect : ) I think we might remember it since it would have been a perfect thing to do, to have braces on her when she smiles. I did a photoshopped version where she has braces, just to mess with people : )

Yeah, they could have been futuristic looking guns, but still with bullets... Maybe someone can make a fan edit and remove the laser blasts : D
