Great information as usual MY! The heater core is something I've always avoided in my Samurai. I've heard of drilling out a hole to make a clean out but have always been hesitant to do it. If a mistake is made, I've heard the horror stories of how involved and long of a process it is to get the dash out and back in. I'm a good wrench but don't want to have to go thru that if I don't have to. Anyway, thanks again for the great info!
I crushed mine 10 years ago when replacing the heater hoses actually I overtightened the hose clamps I think is how I dids it but re formed the ends and still hasent leaked
