Next live stream I would love to talk to you about building materials, etc... I have been keeping salt(1998) and freshwater since I was a kid. Haven't had a reptile or amphibian since my last daughter who wasn't afraid of them and left me Eve our geriatric Ball Python 17 years we had her...and Felicity, the hedgehog. I currently have a 40-gallon tank reef I am working on, mainly because I want my 20 for my clowns and their pet anemones, mainly bc they are getting romantic. Hahaha! Cue the Barry White, dim the lights and hope! 2 years ago I had six out of my babies survive. Love your content.

Do you have any videos on converting an aquarium to a dart frog enclosure? I have a 50gal aquarium that I'd love to use for some darts! I watched your beginner poison dart frogs video and I'm thinking dendrobates auratus or phyllobates vittatus seem most appealing to me to start with. Thanks for so many great videos about darts!

I was thinking of using a shallow dish to make a sort of small permanent puddle. Do you think the frogs would appreciate this or would it be wasteful/harmful?

Very nice. Thank you. I would love to see a video with the sound that each local of frog makes. That is how I choose if I want to keep them or not.

Two excellent choices of frogs.

Excellent builds. I always enjoy these videos. I am a keeper of multiple Oophaga pumilio locales, and in the American hobby it is recommended to keep them in much larger enclosures (30-40g, 18x18x24 inches or larger). I've not seen them kept in smaller enclosures like this, and I would really like to see how this goes, because space is a constraint for me.

Unfortunately, it seems like TH-cam has a technical issue making be unable to add subtitles at the moment, so there won’t be any for this video until that’s fixed. Sorry about that. Hopefully this issue will be fixed soon so I can at least add subtitles to the next one. It’ll be a few months until I upload my next video, but it will be one of my best ones ever that I think you’ll really appreciate. Follow me on Instagram for more frequent updates.

Submission #8 here (46:40) here. Sorry for sending video instead of pictures, didn’t read your instructions properly. I setup the vivarium a little more over a year ago and the plants grew like weeds. I agree it looks a little bit overplanted although I trim once 1-2 weeks but I love plants and it is my first dart frog vivarium so that explains why I went crazy with plant diversity lol. The back and sides are made of treefern panels and are indeed completely overgrown. The full tank can be viewed on my channel. Thank you Emanuel for this awesome review session and the work and time you put into this video, all the vivs and your feedback are really inspirational to do things better! Thank you for the review! I’m submission 9! A couple things as well! I do have some peperomia emarginella and some ficus quercifolia growing in the back! Hopefully once they grow in, then it will look more ‘jungle’ like! I also do have filter foam and a small layer of my soil (lps tropical mix, charcoal, and some bark). In the very near future, it's finally time to do another Vivarium Review Livestream, where I'll be reviewing your vivariums! I did this a year ago (the livestream was also edited into two videos, which you can find on my channel) and I'm planning to continue doing it as a New Year's tradition. I haven't decided on what day I'll do the livestream, but most likely around the new year (maybe Dec 30th or Jan 1st). HOW TO PARTICIPATE: - Send some picture of your vivarium(s) to contact.tropical.tutorials@gmail.com - Max 3 pictures in total per person (could be multiple shots of the same tank, or different tanks, maybe also an overview of your frog room). - Mention in the email what species you're keeping in there/will keep in there. - I'm expecting mostly dart frog vivariums, but other animal species are allowed too. - You can expect constructive criticism. - If there is time, I might also take in submissions during the livestream, but your chance of being featured is significantly higher if you submit your pictures in advance. - If I get too many submissions, I can't guarantee that I'll have time to go through all of them.
