Great job/info thank you👍🏽
No gloves while using acetone & touching all over the gun while painting, damn bro
You gents definitely helped me out to protect my weapon... I used GunSkin brand wrap and it held up for a long time... Thanks for the help and support... DEATH BEFORE DISHONOR🇦🇫
Any update on the technique? Really trying to find a solid marble technique for a white marble with gold cracks idea I have.
Looks cool. Looks like you could brush it off with your hand though. It hold up?
Thats fucking awesome man
Not wearing protective suit during cerakoting. Eventually you will end up with lung cancer 👌
Best looking flag version I have seen
Ever Cerakote with an air brush? Would that be an easier method for people new to painting? I've heard some people say not to do it, but I've talked to people that say that's what they use and it works well for them.
Does it really hurt to Cerakote the breech face? They always say not to, but I've seen many guns with Cerakoted breech faces. The other ones are hammer faces and sear faces (on sears, hammers and/or firing pins or strikers). I get the Sear faces... but I always wondered more about the Hammer faces. Can the Cerakote handle the striking of the hammer face/firing pin and/or the heavy friction of the slide when it moves rearward to cock the hammer?
Are you cerakoting over cerakote, or do you sand blast them down to bare metal?
Translate in philipino version
ON the grip and stock did you have to sang or blast them for the cerakote to stick?
What is the difrence between cerakote and spray paint
12 foot ninja!!!!❤
Love it. Thank you.
Impressive attention to detail. Looks beautiful.
@CrossedRifles Thanks for your video, very instructive. So any update on the durability (for the parts with or without H-300 clear coat)?
What type of laser is needed for this type of customization
awesome job....
What spray gun is that?
The guy that bought the ar15 with the skull on the magwell, was he concerned that it might be TOO COOL?
Hello Crossed Rifles!Do you guys have a video tutorial on how to cerakote scopes, optics, and weapon lights? Thanks
can you guys replicate the two tone look of the Tti Sand Viper on to a Canik Tti
I'm a Gunsmith myself and I do Cerakote as well. And I have to say you did a great job brother!
How long does the paint last
Thank you for the video, needed that for the project I am doing today. what setting are you using for the shadows? The typical settings I use for normal spraying is 2 turns on the top knob and 3 on the bottom knob.
If I could use only one word to describe this video, it would be OUTSTANDING! After watching several videos on cerakote, this one is, by far, the most informative and easy to understand!
Best Video ever...It helps a lot...Congrats
What air compressor are you using
Nice I love how you included a "little infantry man" above the mag release!
What was the final verdict on durability of this technique?
So cool 😎
I was here to find out if you can cerakote over existing bluing or If you have to take down to bare metal and use sone kinda primer
I guess we missed a important step in what he has already sprayed on the parts.
OMG, its NOT live Luke well maybe it is, the best is when Dave or someone walks in and we are deep in a personal convo... oops :)
I am just now seeing this and died laughing!!! Promise it isn't live!
Great channel
So you use 18ftlbs of pressure for your air mostly?
So alumahyde 2 is like the least durable when it comes to spray on finishes right? Then duracote...and cerakote the best, or gun coat....my cerakote slide lasted right over 2 years of heavy duty and holster wear.
I really like this channel
Why can't you put in a fishing swivel to make it easy to spin around?
Thank you!!
I have a Browning .270 BAR Lightweight rifle that I'm thinking might be a great candidate for Cerakote if I can't get it blued anytime within the year. I was told by two gun shops that it'd take over a year to get the gun finished if I wanted to go with bluing so now I'm considering Cerakote. The gun has a wooden stock so I don't want to go to crazy with colors, but it's going to be a gift handed down to my son. What do you recommend?
We typically use E Series Midnight on restorations.
Any of you folks remember the 1980s brick-weight football size original cellphone?
Absolutely! My dad had a bag phone in his car :)
Decagon
5" AR 5.56 with supressor? I will say a prayer for that can.
Great video! Question at 8:00 - you do not go over 220*F and typically 180*F. H series calls for 250*F for metals. Do you cure at a lower temperature for an extended period of time?
Yes. 3 hours at 180
Much better way if doing this. A technique we using in spfx for marbling is spary your paint down then get a soft brush heavy with solvent and use the brush to push you paint into lines. Maybe i can show you we do this with silicone and acrylics all the time it shouldn't affext the paint as the solvent flashes off.
