There’s a canyon in the American Southwest that is unmatched in its ancient history. Carved into the walls of this canyon, are the messages from the cultures who once thrived here. Recently, as winter took its hold upon this region, I hiked a new section of this canyon. I discovered a world frozen in time

Escaping A Flood, I Stumbled On A Hidden Ancient Site
Truly enjoying your adventures, thank you for taking us along. Having all of these comments listed, it would be nice if there is a way to search them for keywords. Specifically, a species of people called the “Nunnehi”, a.k.a. “Moon People” that were chased from the Appalachian mountains by the Cherokee. Surely, your area might call them by a different name and it would be interesting to discover other tales. Stories tell of the short white people with big blue/silver eyes that watched over tribes at night. They never traded goods but provided services of protection. In return, the tribes would leave them offerings of food. This applies to your venturing as related to the assembled structures on the cliffs. Displays of small hands, doorways, and squared corners look similar to old ruins from Iceland Vikings. Most important are the glyphs of the never ending circles/spirals and snakes or many mountains. Thank you again for the exploration.
So if you’re near Sierra Vista, that is a border patrol blimp it is used for surveillance and it’s pretty much up in the air 24 seven
So owesome that you went back
*GOODNESS* 🙀 *ONE WOULD OF HAD TO STAY IN VERY TOP NOTCH SHAPE AND VERY CAREFUL TO OF SURVIVED BACK THEN. THAT'S NOT INCLUDING HAVING TO ALWAYS BE ON GUARD FER ENEMIES HUMAN AND CRITTERS*
It might not have been the " native crow tribe" 🇺🇲🤔🏴
Looking at the old photographic record it has since become a long-since rebuilt notion of a former structure.
The item to the left in the rock art i have no doubt is a throwing stick similar to a boomerang, survival tool or weapon for protection and or hunting, quite similar to some art in the Kimberly's Australia
You are the modern Everett Ruess.
It's cool how the cave looked like a teepee.
Bears are amazing but I sometimes feel quite lucky that we don’t have to worry about wild animals in the uk, I’m pretty sure our most dangerous animal is the cow so that should give you some idea of the level of beasts here. I did once come across a very disgruntled hedgehog once though.
A logger told me years ago to rinse or bathe in cold water asap. I’ve never had over a couple specs of poison ivy in my life
In 11:20...about there, you said it hitted me??? Really??? What is your education level? Damn dude
I love your videos been working on getting my kids to watch them to. But I have to admit some of those camera angles man for someone scared of heights it can make you queasy just from watching you. You are very brave sir.
I really appreciate that you protect the places you find by not disclosing the locations and leaving the artifacts in place. As you know, there are national parks that anyone can visit to see some ancient sites. I want to add that I think you do a fantastic job of editing the video you take, including the drone inclusions and with the background music added. One year done, hoping for many more.
ye mountains?
Andrew, I am dying and your videos give me great JOY as you share your adventures.. I feel am there with you, gazing upon the wonders of God’s humanity! I do pray you will remain safe also.
The way people got to live there was because at that time the water line was up to that level. The earth has grown since then and the waterline recedes with such planetary growth, in some places.
Somewhere near henry's and hanksville? That looked like a lot of loose big stuff. Great trip. Thanks for taking us along.
Thanks!
Thank you. I wonder with the wonderful meals that you cook up, do animals come that are attracted by the food smells? I love your videos. I watch them late at night before going to bed and often dream about some of it :)
7:00 that's building materials!!! The profile looks like a lion, especially if you look at the destroyed area and compare it to where a mane could have been. This portion has just started, so I may be jumping the gun. 😑😝
Are you being paid to map these areas? 😊
Coyote-two syllables only😀
Makes me think of when it says in the Bible the mountains shall melt like Wax.
Yes, that is definitely Elvis.
Brings me back to 40 yrs ago-I submitted the Grand as a 1st time climber novice. Thx. Just checked and you can see the enclosure on Google Earth and Maps.
No oNe cAn eXpLaIn iT Screw off with the clickbait. As if prehistoric peoples didnt climb mountains. Dont cheapn your content with that crap.
So sad to see all the chem trails in the sky there.
The correct term is Petroglyphs, I believe.
The Salado people had water, shelter could grow their crops. So long ago. It's what we call a little paradise. But it was probably a hard life. Once again thanks
One might wonder if some of the burnt wood was from burning the dead and if some of the broken pottery was at that time a burial urn. Possibly breaking it during a celebration to set the deceased's soul free. One never knows eh
Outstanding just beautiful. I love the canyon. Thank you so much for sharing your adventures
In many of your treks, there are many whirls, or swirls. It is hard to try to figure what they were meant to represent. Could they be coiled snakes? I remember in one canyon you were exploring (don’t remember which one) a drawing of a swirl had a snake’s head coming out of the swirl. Could that swirl be a snake that was starting to crawl away? Just wondering. By the way, your treks are so interesting. In one of your videos you talked about you reflecting on the past, who the people were, their art, how they lived. I can imagine myself doing the same thing; ie, my place in the world, my legacy, why am I here, etc. Anyway, keep exploring, I’ll be waiting. Thanks.
In many ways its like watching someone walk around on Mars and then the number of strange rock formations and miniature tucked away oasises. There is an element of surprise even if it doesn’t seem like much.
It makes me wonder how much more water used to flow through the area.
im not sure "wow" would be the first thing I thought after all the effort!
There are 2 videos that might give you insight to a few things, 1 one is called Noah's flood the 2nd i don't have a name for you but it's on sam subject with explanations on the dinosaurs. My thought on arcelogoie or science is they have lied to us a out anything they have no answer for they just make up.
Some of those drawings look high up how did they manage to get that high up to draw thèm
Perhaps the other tower represented the hunter like in the image you saw with the sheep. They seemed to be portrayed at a similar distance from each other. At 17:24 is a good view of them, and the one I am calling the "hunter" does it not have the broad triangle shaped shoulders which all comes down to a point like the paintings. With the riverbed being there, animals would have been there, the valley floor seems to be a natural funnel, perhaps sheep were frequent there and bountiful.
Love your strole in the park lands. I went to a site (I never found) and almost got lost. Think I'll watch you journals, much safer for me!
I see corn cobs in many of the ruins. I assume from wild animals bringing & eating them there. Corn is a cultivated crop & doesn’t grow “wild”, so where do the corn cobs come from???
Wow!! That night sky is incredible!!
I couldnt take that chopper ride without wanting to explore the canyon proper!!
When I watch your videos it's almost like I was there in person with you. Thank you for posting such awesome natural wonders and native american historical sites....
It makes me sick to my stomach just looking at these cliffs on my Personal Computer! No way could I or would I want to make such a climb!!!
Keep drifting just watched you and andrew finding thos corn cob & Dril thank you for taking us along i love the south west allways wanted to explor the native lands realy like the respect you have to leave it wair you found it .. and to for ever hold the memories with your eyes thank you so much maybe some day ill get to see some of these places thank you again we subscribed
Not worried for you brother as you have a heart and soul of a warrior. I do believe believe that you are being watched over always. So no worries. As always thanks for the opportunity to Journey through time with you and the spirits of the past.
I can’t wait to find out if the other arms point to rock art in those directions as well. So fascinating! Thanks for sharing your explorations!
Just a thought, the panel with the girls with squash blossom hair, there is a glyph right above them and below the sheep, looks like a human figure running. I know the hopi have a coming of age ceremony for women that involves running a long distance.
IS BRAVE WOMAN.
