Thank you for the recommendations. I have been daunted by lit fic and really appreciate the description you provide of each, I added many of them to my TBR. 📖
i love love love reading in second person perspective but i've only read one book so far. it was an amazing german book exploring friendship, chronic and mental illness and the difficulties to see those illnesses sometimes. it was amazing (weltalltage by paula fürstenberg for any german people here). but i was so so scared to start open water because everyone said how lyrical it is, and i sometimes struggle with flowery language. so i was so happy to hear that it's beginner friendly (even though im a literary fiction girly myself). thank you so much lea for recommending books that are not too hyped on other platforms and encouraging people to expand their reading horizons 🫶🏻 love your videos always 📚✨
I love all of these recommendations! I read Ripe because of another video where you talked about it and it jacked me up so bad. It was almost too thought provoking, and I needed fluffy reads afterwards haha.
FIRST! I need a video like this on poetry. I've never been able to find a good one, except for the random excerpts on ig reels. I've seen too many books on mental health/traumatic relations mostly centre around romantic relationships and I'm like 😶
OMGG ive been wanting to read severance for the looongest time now, this is def my sign to do so!! also, have u read "alone with you in the ether" by olivie blake? would love to hear ur thoughts on it 💘
