RWBY isn't the worst thing ever and it's certainly not the crime against humanity some act like it is, but I'll never understand calling the writing anything remotely close to great, much less very good. Horrific pacing, last minute additions that aren't properly explored, and power systems that aren't fully developed and thus have significant overlap and a paper thin distinctions all contribute to the glaring problem that is the show's lack of consistency and planning. That they blew up their funds for V9 on an entirely new area, set of characters, and expensive and complex model that we're likely to never see again is further proof of just how much of a mess RWBY is.

Tried to watch this video in good faith but cannot get past @2:38 where you claim this show has some of the most well thought out arcs in media. Please, please, please expand your library and if it's a decent size that encompasses multiple forms of media, please go back and take a critical look of other far more impressive character arcs.

It is so incredibly funny how so many people think this is a "RWBY fans can't take criticism" video. Like. Lol. Lmao even. I am annoyingly critical of things I think RWBY has fumbled. I have a whole video on it, and sure, not everyone commenting about it has seen that, but that just means they're speaking without knowing so that's telling on themselves more than anything. Anyway, I'm critical of V9 fumbling by not making Ruby and Jaune discuss Penny, I think the Watts death comes across as an afterthought with how unceremonious it is, I think the Faunus storyline is bad, I think Yang not having a V1 story despite being a title character while Jaune gets a V1 story is not the way it should've been paced. I have plenty of RWBY criticism. It's just based on things the show, y'know, *actually did*. As opposed to Blaber's nonsense. "They didn't explain the differences between magic and Semblances and whatnot" when V6 explains that magic existed as a gift from the gods but without the gods present, second humanity couldn't use it, outside of Oz keeping his magic and giving some to the maidens and the Branwen twins, whereas everyone else only has remnants of the previous magic as Semblances and Aura. You can't call it criticism when the shit being said is just outright untrue. Guess bro had method acting for Jinxy the way he presents things as what they aren't. And everyone that got fooled by it is now mad that someone decided to say it's stupid. I guess it's also worth noting I went years without seeing the video, so it's not like this is some thing I've been holding onto like some people think just because the original was ages ago. I just never watched it until right before making this because as soon as I watched it I realized "Wow. This fucking sucks." and said why. But by all means, if you wanna keep being mad I called out your fav and projecting that onto me while commenting, go ahead. You're making yourselves look bad while giving me engagement, so it only hurts you really. Marcus’s Semblance was to strip another person of theirs, He used this on Mercury because he said “This is a Crutch, This Makes You weak” He claimed that he could give it back when he wanted but this never happened and since he is dead, probably will never happen Juane can amplify aura not completely restore it, if it does happen it would be more of a temporary buff 2. A Maiden cannot use Semblances of Previous Maiden’s, The Aura being transferred is like a 2nd heart, The 2nd heart is the magic of the maidens being transferred while The 1st Heart being the Aura of The Soul stays behind, since they are born with it but inherited the Maiden Powers in the Teens-20’s 3. The Previous Spring Maiden ran away from responsibility and held up with Raven's Tribe, eventually she died and gave the powers to Raven (unsure if it was a Homicide or not) 4. The Oz’s are Reincarnation of a singular person, it’s the same guy over and over again, but the Original was born before Semblances when there was only magic, so they don’t collect the semblance but rather the magic 4. Glynda has Telekinesis as her Semblance, she just uses a wand to fit with “The Goodwitch” which she is based off 5. I haven’t read the novels or watched Part 2 of the Justice League crossover, and The Anime adaption is not canon 6. The people in the world as a whole wouldn’t fully know what a semblance is, an aura however is commonly known, but Juane is pushed as having a Low Knowledge of anything, so it would kind of explain it but not fully 7. Oscar is a Shutin Farmhand, and as with the rest of the oz’s he won’t develop a semblance as he already is a reincarnation 8. The Central Location is an entirely new dimension made by Ambrosius, The space around it was never specified by Team RWBY, so therefor anything could be there 9. The Vaults weren’t created by Ozma, but rather they were created by the Spirits of the Relics, Ozma just built around them and made the academies around them to act as defense and training grounds As seen with the Spring Maiden as soon as the door is touched by the maiden than it’ll open, so a rock wall would crumble 10. The Relic World was probably created by the 2 God Brothers, it’s a separate dimension 11. When juane first got to the everafter, (I forgot exactly what he did) he made some sort of mistake and travelled years in the past, becoming the rusted knight

I know I'm a little late to the party, but I do want to say one thing. I'm honestly not sure if you joking or not, but it does kinda seem arrogant of you to claim his points are "falsehoods" so many time when you disagree with him. There are some various aspects that do make sense to call it that, such as him acting like being added in at the last second(despite showing literally one of the earliest characters added in the show) is a bad thing, but stuff like whether or not the main characters got enough focus is much more subjective taste than it is objective fact. I personally agree with you that they got a lot of subtle clues and character building during the early seasons, but other either don't catch on to them, or just don't consider those clues. This is me writing while 3 minutes in, so I am fully prepared to come back and apologize. I just needed to get that off my chest.

In the og GoW games, he kinda does kill all of Greece. Killing posiedon made the sea levels rise drastically. Killing Helios allowed the darkness to blanket the land. And Hades death allowed the spirits of the damned to roam free on the human world. Also, i think ivory tower could be his way to refer to the marble buildings of ancient Greece.

The Athena bar represent how Athena basically manipulated kratos & was playing both sides for the most of the gow series. The break you to open up bar basically shows two things about kratos (I know there's more but these are ones I think that's important) Ares manipulated kratos to slaughter everyone in a village including Kratos's wife Lynsandra & daughter Calliope (I don't care what anyone says about he was manipulated in my book) but also do to fact that his son Atreus finds out he's a half god and kratos was scared to admit that to him because to kratos. Atreus was basically ( In Kratos's words) cursed. Norse deity bar self explanatory Takes place in the Norse pantheon Atreus is basically loki he was born half giant & had shape shifting and Kratos was technically Farbuati who is loki's biological father in mythology (not Odin like some believe he is his adopted son) I hope this helps.

given we hada RWBY DC offical cross over i think the idea of how how x characters would traspate to rWBY has been established now, and yes their mostly human

You say that you didn't plan out a team name, but their initials straight up spell out FANG, so giving them a team name is not hard. :P I will however say, I don't think these four characters would be on a team all together. Goddard really doesn't fit the vibe of the other 3, with all of them having some sort of mechanic focus. I also feel like there's a very noticeable age difference between Adam and Frank, which makes it weird to put those two on a team together, but Nancy with her face covered could fit with either Adam or Frank pretty easily, entirely based on how she looks underneath the mask.

Frank's middle name could stand for Neher, a German surname themed around tailors, as it means "to sew" or "to embroider," which can refer to how Frankenstein's monster is all stitched up, and also invoke colors relating to fabrics and threads. It's a stretch, since Frank only has the scars, but worth a shot. Maybe it'd be a gag how others assume it's something more spooky along the lines of Nemesis or Nightingale, only to be something more mundane.
