My experience, differs from what you just described I have found that the dowels are not that tight and there is a least a mm off play + and -

I tried using the link to buy the cue, but it did not give me the option to buy the cue without the wrap, I tried but did not see the option.

Question, I installed my cushions but it's not responsive like I was hoping it would be. I used k66 same as you did on your table it's just not fast enough to almost sounds dead when the ball impacts the rail. All the bolts are tight the cloth isn't over stretched. I don't get it.

i picked up a set of pro cup balls and i havent looked back, ive had them now just over 2 years

Cue manufacturers should stop winding that nylon thread to grip.

Just picked up a set of these on Ebay. Just recovered our 9' Brunswick Elite. They play very nice and the cue doesn't leave burns on the cloth during breaks. Very happy with them. The table came with a set of the cheaper balls and the cue had scorched to break line pretty badly. I got my set for $165.

I'm thinking of buying a McDermott with an i2 soon. Would you please do a decent comparison of the i2 and other low deflection shafts on the market? Nobody does a fair review on any of these, it's just market jargon. is an iPro the same thing with a consistent maple shell? Do they really perform any differently than a GCore?

I paid $129 back in 2005. I’ve used them twice at home as I’m still playing with the aramith standard balls.

Great review, always enjoyed using the Premiers in pool halls where I'm at, they're the bare minimum I find for any proper tournament or big game. Also would love to see you guys do a review on the new Bulletproof Recoil Synthetic tips, if you don't already have them in the pipeline. From what's been said so far on AZBilliards forums reception so far is quite positive, but I'd love to see a proper review channel give the tips a good testing

I don’t have diamonds on my table, how do I add them?

I collect various brands of pool cues, but the ones I have the most of are Lucasi. I currently shoot with a Lucasi now, and I have had zero problems with it as far as quality, consistency and playability. Based on my own personal opinion and my own personal experience, I have found that pool cues under $100 all the way up to over $1,000 pretty much play the same from the factory.

I have the same cue but in black and it get sticky after some time playing, now i just use it for home security

Master works okay but gets everywhere and on everything. Bar tables and balls (and subsequently my hands) are always covered with it because the bar hacks chalk furiously after every shot. I use Taom V10 now. Works fantastic. No mess. Lasts a long time.

Nice review. I ended up here from QMD's site as they linked this video. I appreciate your objectivity in evaluating their product. Looks like they're on QMD4 now, and they took some of your suggestions: i.e. logo on the top of the unit, a more polished finish, and a more production-looking butt cap adapter. However the device still sticks out of the bottom. Thanks for your reviews. New subscriber!

The Valhalla I bought through Amazon did not do well on the ball bearing cue roller test, unfortunately. Returned it. Glad I spent the $25 on the rollers though 🙂

Imo its the super aramith pro cueball that plays heavy.

I like this technique much better than the one demonstrated a few years ago.

As long as you have a good jumping technique any jump cue can be a good one .. Also a cheap jump cue is better than no jump

Love your videos. I play snooker on my oversized 8' (46"x92") table. I cheated some dimensions to help play. I play 10 red or 6 red as the table can get crowded. My D is 17.75" (15.3" would be 1/3). This gives a little extra room to break, as that felt crowded, while still giving a line from the blue to the baulk corners. I also rack the reds on the pink spot and spot pink in front of that to give more room to the black, which seemed to always be unplayable as soon as reds are split.

I just completed trimming the bumper facings on my Brunswick Elite. After struggling for awhile trying to trim them flush and clean to the bumpers, I found the the carpet hook blades made for utility knives work very well indeed. You might give it a try. I had way better results than using razor blades. I managed to get flush and even on several of the cuts with just a careful single pass each. Now I will follow your instructions to get the rails covered.

Great video as always! I've used your advice to change cloth on 3 tables to date. Seeing this latest video does leave me with a question. As far as setting the side pocket anchor and stretch side marks (for pocket slack), does table size matter? I assume you are working on a 9 foot table in this video. Would a 7 or 8 foot table be marked less than 13/16 etc..? Thx again and Merry Christmas!

the slate supporting wood,attached to the bottom of the slate,are those custom added or do alot of pool tables come with slate attached to wood like that? My pool table is just slate,seems it would be easier to refelt with staples rather than glue
