Chanter cet air difficile aussi bien à 60 ans prouve bien que la technique et le souffle sont majeurs et son talent bien sûr quand j écoute joansutherland je sais par avance qu'elle sera à la hauteur et comment elle s y prend pour chanter selon son âge. Voix et technique stupéfiantes la stupenda ne sera jamais égalée

No chemistry here. Sutherland essentially never looks at Horne, but just the audience. Meh. By comparison, Marilyn Horne with Montserrat Caballe is much much better and their two voices together are magical (Horne called it a "quirk of nature") To each her own,

Although Sutherland always gave her best for her audiences, if you listen to any of the performances in Australia there is always just a bit more than any of her others. She is superb here, as always, and her audience repays her with great love and affection.
