after few months of use decided on my next razor. Gamechanger. While Tatara was amazing engineering and build quilty, it just had hard time shaving with it.

how does this compared to King C?
These Begleiters have incredible action. The detent is perfect, it does sort of feel assisted, especially for the reverse flick. I have the tanto version and absolutely love it
I like Ameriglo sights but.when I stand in shade and the target is is the sun, I can’t see my Ameriglo sight at all. Thanks for making such a clear comparison in this video.
The ash pans go in the FRONT slot NOT the side. That's why you couldn't get it in the side properly.
The .76 is the best razor I have ever owned. Amazing.
Too bad you don't carry a multi tool to adjust your multi tool holster.
Hi bro, can you link me with where i can get these for my Glock 19 and 17 gen 3? I have been searching everywhere and cant find out the blacked out rear ... Are they discontinued? I can't find them on Ameriglo website....
Nice setup. I have two Pumpspy inverters and four AGM batteries three to five feet up, on a heavy duty metal shelf. In case of total failure or if the water heater leaks, hopefully it will keep them dry, until I can get the generator hooked up.
I wonder what your thoughts on the Wouxun KG Q10G would be?
That’s the one I own, and it is a superhet,the935g is direct conversion !! but the 935G is a very high end direct conversion ! The Q10 G is totally waterproof, the 935G is splashproof. the voice clarity on the Q10 G is excellent
I like the keypad on the Q 10 G better also, it’s in the middle, not on the bottom of the radio, makes it easier to operate the buttons.
Hey, the Merkur ist really nice, I also have this one. The head of your Edwin Jagger is the wrong way round.
I’m just posting this as possible advice for new campers: These things look incredibly cool, but as far as cooking performance, they’re pretty poor. You’re constantly feeding the fire, or adjusting it, so you don’t burn or undercook your food. You really want a tripod cooking grate to adjust height, or a stake-in-ground grate that’s height adjustable and swings away. And if you’re going to need that, you’re better off using a gasifier stove like a Solo Mesa or other. Much more efficient burning and you can use pellets. I myself bought the $40 WalMart clone, the 7” diameter Ozark Trail model. It’s a pleasure to operate and cook with.
One year later do you still like your sentinel?
Yes working great, still happy with it. If I had to pick something to complain about I wish it was harder to change brightness or lock the level. As sometime it gets changed on me where its to bright or worse to dim where you are trying to find the the target only to realize that its been dimm'd down.
What bit kit are you using to extend the screwdriver? I was just gifted a Suspension NXT & wanted to increase its usability for everyday tasks.
Does it scratch it tho
Hard to pick a favorite, but I have a Green Swiss Champ that has all kinds of stuff, including a hook remover, magnifying glass (plastic), pliers, saw, scissors, ball point pen, et al the good stuff. As for starting a fire with a magnifying glass, it can be made easier during certain months of the year when the sun is higher in the sky, and darker wood/paper will work best . Keeping the focused point of light is easier said than done too! Enjoyed your video.
Cool item. I preder the 3d printed option, because I have the ratchet and bit kit, so I need the aditional storage.
I am from Bangladesh. Can you provide me??
How many tools on the SAK do you actually use? If you say you use more than 3 you are lying to yourself. Leatherman has what you need and nothing that you don’t.
Just ordered this for the copper scales. I hope they patina well.
Word of caution for international customers. I’m in Canada and bought this based on this review. I wanted to directly support the company and not buy through Amazon. They redirect you to the international site. It ships from China postal and in the shipping fine print it says it could take 1-2 months. Mine has gone dark for 10 days with no shipping info once it was “on the plane”. Next time I’ll pay the extra 30$ and get it from Amazon. I wouldn’t mind so much if it was better traceable.
I carry 4 blades in my Surge sheath. Not the original one. 2 for wood, one for metal and one in kukri style for rubber or dirty things i dont want to touch main blades. Ive got Speed Wood and Basic metal from Bosch like you and a Progressor for wood. Ill look for the Carbide Edge, thank you.
Can't beat the game changer.
I don't have one, but you should try the Lupo .72. It's apparently more efficient than the GC.84. At least according to Italian barbers Razor chart. The Lupo is based and sort of a copy of the Wolfman WR1.. which is like a $300 just for the head. (Lupo = Wolf In Italian) I wouldn't focus too much on blade gap either. Rockwell on plate 5 is only like .69, but definitely more "aggressive" than the GC.84. I returned my Rockwells (6C/6S) due to QC issues and Blade gap bias.. + head was also too big. Did NOT enjoy that one, but you may be different. Lupo .58 is also more aggressive than GC .68. Ill prob grab my Lupo .72 soon.. Few things I want to order from IB.
THanks for tip. I may try to pick one up. GC .84 has been so good will be interesting to find something to top it.
@@EDCraf Got my Lupo 72 today and holy cow.. This is an experience. Paired it with a Indian GWS blade and Cremo. I know this combo well with my previous GC .84... It's definitely a little more efficient, but doesn't feel that way.. it's weird.. in a good way. Did WTG and XTG and I pretty much have an in between BBS/DFS shave with minor touch up. If I have to go ATG, it definitely feels much BETTER than the GC .84... prob due to lower blade gap? Closer shave with same general effort? Yes for sure. I'm kinda at a loss for words.. I should have bought the Lupo .72 a year ago🤣. Now I'm curious about other plates such as .58, .95 and even GC .76/1.05. Worth the $70? Yes for sure. Quality from IB is still top notch.. I actually prefer the Super knurl handle to Barber pole I think. Ill have to swap them around in the next few shaves. YMMV.
@@jamesdeluxa9782 making me want to try now too.
TATARA- Let's make a complicated looking razor & slap a hefty price tag.
I have a Vedder for a Glock 43 and love it. My problem with Vedder, however, is they nickel and dime charge for everything. Want FDE? $5. Need it optic cut? $5. Want the claw? $5. By the time your done and want this extras, it’s 15 to 20 more than the base price, which then makes it a overpriced (IMO) compared to similar holsters
i've never seen victorinox broken pliers , but mexico made newer post 2017 leatherman has several on reddit
if the sog powerpint was made by victorinox, it would be the best tool ever made.
the p4 misses a diamond file for me, and the t shank or bit adapter
the P4 is the only one with QA and made in usa, not that i'm american, but there is a difference, they don't put the usa stamp on these days, sicne they make them in mexico on the other models
How’d it perform relative to the GameChanger .84?
As much as I wanted it to perform as good as it looks but just didnt do well for me. I struggled with neck and around jaw. Gamechanger .84 I found much better which is why i ended up parting ways with the Tatara. The small head of GC just lets it handle curves and tights spots. I tried a few diff blades but always had same outcome. Tatara just cut/irritated me more.
How’s the display in the day / sunlight? I’ve seen some negative reviews of the Wouxun displays compared to others.
Its pretty bad, I mean its visible but you do have to focus more or I just put hand to shade it.
You think the scissors of the Arc can be replaced by the serrated blade of the P4 and the Scissors of the P4 replacing the can opener in the Arc?
I don't see why not, they appear to be same tool frame.
Been looking for a video on this... curious to know if those "springs" that push on the back of the Arc to keep it secure will scratch up/wear on the tool alot...
I was actually worried about that too when i got it. But after maybe 50 in/out movements I dont see any scratches on the Arc. I can come back in few months of use and report back.
Ok cool thats helpful. Like you said, alot of the holster are pricey. I do like the simplicity and slimness, think ill try this one out. Thanks for the info! @@EDCraf
I just got my copy of this version. I am going to say it will. I ran it in and out a few times and I can see micro scratches where the springs are. The springs are too stiff. I have many RAE Gear sheaths for my other Leatherman tools so I like their products. Not liking this one. I am currently using their Mag Sheath for the P4 I have had a long time and that is better.
Definitely leaves wear/scratch marks. I don't really care as it's a tool though.
I love the Ameriglo spartan with the orange .. have them on all my edc's
MagnaCut blade makes the difference between Arc and P4 atleast for me because I like the P4. The construction is top notch too.
im wanting the arc soon! and yep i agree the quarter bits from ali express are stupid money! i would like one but i cant pay like 60 bucks for that lol
In Germany, it will costs use 300 Euro (300 $)! Just bought 2 Surge and 1 Wave Gen.1 (110 Euro) all unused for 285 Euro. Have the Wave gen.1 since 1999 and still loving it. Arc is quite interesting, but need to wait to see more reviews....
I just bought my first carry gun and am trying out a few holsters from Amazon. I grabbed an Oath to try out and there's just something I don't like about it and was going to get a Vedder but I'd have to buy it from their website. This video I think helped me decide I'm going to take a chance and just get the Vedder eventhough I can't return it without paying shipping. It does look like I'll like it better than the Oath. Thanks for the good review.
Always good to have few holsters. My Oath I mounted in my bag to use when carry off body.
The bits are a small selection that are not already covered by the Knives and multi tools. You can’t use cheap bits, you need quality bits with full size shanks.
The .84 is in my top 5. I have the Rockwell 6c. Love it also. For around $50 it is a great deal.
Yes I think its hands down best razor for the money.
Only problem with the Rockwell 6c/6s is that some blades don't line up properly depending on tolerances of units. Both of mine had gap bias to one side with Indian Gillette Wilkinsons.. Ended up returning both. Its a common problem, though I guess it depends on the level of OCD and what blades you use.. No other popular razor has this issue..
quality build, that said it’s on the expensive side. regards dapper shaves
I've seen some other reviews of similar folding stoves that said they warp pretty bad after only a short time having a fire going inside them. Did you have that experience as well?
I have used 3 times and seems fine still. Short fires those, just lit for kids to make smores.
Which antenna are you using with your KG-935G Plus?
The factory antenna is superb, the 771G Nagoya is only a hair better on transmit, it would receive better because it is longer antenna
The Wouxun KG-UV9GX is the one I currently own. The Wouxun KG-935 Plus is the next one I may purchase because it does have a lot of nice features.
you should get 0.76 gap. Best gap of gamechanger razor.
It was sold out when I made purchase. But .84 is growing on me big time once i mastered it.
@@EDCraf I also have the .84 and was considering the .68 to try "everyday shaving".... But I also have sensitive skin and fear it would end up worse for me since I would go over the same areas multiple times. My facial hair is kinda coarse when it grows in. I'm not into the "multi pass" shaving and stopped using soaps and brushes too... I buy a tube a Cremo and it works amazingly well with GC.84 every other day or two days. Especially for shower shaving with a mirror. Wonder if the .76 would be a nice alternative.. The new GC 1.05 is prob too agro :D Was considering a Lupo 72/95, but I kinda like the Gillete tech style design of the GC. Other razors are just so annoying to get clean in a hurry.
I prefer Vedder and own 6 of them! I feel they print a lot less if you lower the ride height more.
You sound just like Toby Miguire
Not sure who that is, but I hope hes a bad ass.
@@EDCrafThe original Spider-Man ,so for anyone 20-25 years old it’s badass
Give me that old
I agree. They wear the same. No noticeable difference. I’m going with Tulster. I’ve got a T1C, w/an extended wing, like Vedder. That holster sucks. Super uncomfortable, never wear it.
I haven't read, seen, nor heard anything that convinces me that the P4 is anything more than a fidget toy. Yeh, all the tools are outside accessible and one-handed, but if the tools are crap, what have you gained? The serrated blade is very good, but the rest of the tools are just jokes in search of a punchline. Oh,the P4 is also stupid expensive.
It's actually an American made tool. The ace,p4 and p2 are the only ones that can legally has USA on the plier heads. All other Leatherman pliers are made in Mexico and most other components are from overseas as well. The free series has a quality bump that can be felt. Much nicer than the wave or surge
