  • While it looks nice and priced well, not the biggest fan. Doesn't seem like a swiss made product they usually make their stuff more refined. Link amzn.to/3brMjsE

The bits are a small selection that are not already covered by the Knives and multi tools.
You can’t use cheap bits, you need quality bits with full size shanks.

I have the same bit magazine with the Victorinox Ratchet. I have never had bits falling out.
Regarding the selection of bits, I guess Victorinox chose bits that are not found on their pliers based multi tools. As those have very similar tools their Swiss army knifes, the selection is also complementary to a basic Spartan or Huntsman, Pioneer etc.
It is weird that Victorinox does not deliver the tool with 10 bits. My tip is to buy the wrench and the bit magazine separately. With a bit of research I found them for a little more than 10€ for the wrench and 2.50€ for the magazine. I assume most people have enough bits to fill the 10 slots easily.
Quality of the whole set is and should be great because I think they are produced by PB Swiss Tools like the Vic Bike Tool set was. Therefore the bits should be very good.

This tool wasn’t meant for pocket use. Tool box or glove box in the car, maybe.
The two Phillips bits are number 3, the larger one, and number 1, the smaller one. Both are common in carpentry and woodwork, and the #1 is often used in electronic assemblies. There’s also a number 0, (zero) bit, even smaller, think of the screws holding the back on a wristwatch. And a double zero,,,,,,,
The bits slipping out could be a matter of imprecise tooling of the bits if they are cheap ones, or the molding of the holder. Either way, a little careful addition to it using a typical glue gun in the looser holes can add just enough friction to keep the bits in place.
Pretty good review overall, thanks for sharing your opinion on this, it was interesting to see, even if I have been using tools for 60 years, professionally for 50.
I have a 50 year old version of all metal bracket holder and bits, guessing it was the earlier version of this. Hand-me-down from Dad.
