This is exactly what youtube is meant for. Thank you.
Thanks so much! 😊
Question regarding your "Beyond Paradise" photo. You seemed to have stated that you used the polarizer for the sky as well as the water. Given that the polarizer essentially polarizes half of the lens I'm wonering if you stacked two photos to get the result of separate sky and water polarization. Thanks. Great video.
Thanks for watching. When you turn the polariser you can set it to sky only, water only (foreground) or somewhere in between. Time of day and direction of the lens will impact the how much of an effect it has as well. I timed the Beyond Paradise shot for midday to ensure maximum polarisation and set the CPL filter half way between ‘all sky’ and ‘all water’. Hope that makes sense?
Where is it located?
This is Lake McKenzie on Fraser Island 🏝️

Wow beautiful 😊

Why restrict the area? Places like that should all have free access.
It requires abseiling and canyoning to access it. Many people have died in here or suffered serious injuries. It’s incredibly remote and all emergency evacuations take many hours.
So what? I used to dig solo at the bottom of grade 5 caves and not tell anybody to keep the pirates away. I also used to go solo ice climbing, again without telling anyone. The mountains and caves are nice places to get away from people. That place looks like good fun. Unfortunately I'm past it now at age 77 but I kept it up well into my 50s, despite repeated bollockings from various pub landlords. Everyone has the right to play games so long as they're prepared to take the consequences of failure. @@MarkGrayPhoto
