Instead of cyano acrylic give epoxy aka wood hardener a try. It should be harder but takes longer to dry.

We where on a commando camp..and we had simulations etc and smoke bombs also. The sunday we were tested with knowledge to see if we learned something. The instructor said " correct" and dropped what we thought is a smokey... Boy where we wrong took just few seconds to realise its teargas! Man what an experience 😂

I'm new to the channel. Is there any way to make ports for the smoke expulsion around the entire circumference of the cannister? That way the smoke wouldn't be directional if the canister turned during activation.

Hey I was wonder what the laws are regarding the 1/4" fuzes and if theyre exempt from FEP/FEL requirements due to being articles pyrotechnic. Cant seem to find a good answer on forums

A few ideas to try, you can weld the 3/4" core tube to the cap, perforate only the top portion, just above the compound fill line. the fuse will ignite the compound on the top but the smoke will travel along the center core to a blow out valve at the bottom of the device. (a piece of tape on a dilled hole) you could add more compound per device this way as well. another idea is to reduce the size of the core to 1/2".

The ammonia perchlorate would make good aerial flares, methinks. Add some metal salts and you've got colored flares

Yo, I just set off a TPA with 150gm pressed as much as I could. Seriously I couldn’t see my house. I than set off a TAG18 for comparison, although it wasn’t a bad smoke but yours is far fucking superior. Just wish I could package it up to be more weather proof for when shit goes down! P.S. the silicone trick worked great, no flame

Bro, make the silicon section like, 2-4 inches long so the smoke is forced through the orifice in a pressurized manner causing fart sounds. Just try not to go too far with pressure for obvious reasons XD Note: a longer silicon orifice gives any spark formed a longer time to burn out or starve before leaving the can.

I'm not trying to rain on anyone's parade. I think I heard something about a recent federal law banning civilian use or possession of smoke bombs. Not 100% sure, but they've been trying to ban all the good stuff and I'd hate to see an entrepreneur to get hassled by the feds. Worth a look.

Volume of smoke is great. Ease of use is great. Time until smoke produces large volumes seemed a little slow but not a dealbreaker. Is there a way to color the smoke, even make it black?

I've gotta learn those knots first THEN try and get the chems to make the stuff lol
