I've read in many places that Mclane does a hair drug test. Is that true, or is it urine or saliva? Also, what is the road test consisting of? Will I have to do pretrip, or will I just have to drive? If pretrip, what all will they want to know? I'm located in Illinois. This will be my first truck driving job, so I just want to be as prepaired as possible. Much appreciated bro.

I just finished my orientation with McLane (Driver Trainee) TODAY. I'm going through their CDL academy. This video is SO helpful man. I know it's going to be a crazy couple of months with learning everything. I was choppin' it up with one of vet drivers today. He showed me his pay stubs on his phone, and boy I almost had a heart attack. PHD money. Food service is no joke. Those salary sites aren't accurate lol. MOTIVATED me so much. Ready to crush it!

A CDL driver trainee position just opened up here in San Bernardino, CA. I’m tempted to apply but currently make $27/ hour delivering propane cylinders, driving class B trucks. If i start with McLane ima take a pay cut, they’re starting off @ $23.50 for trainees… I have my Class A already.

At my location you start at 130,000 a year with no experience whatsoever now that’s if you work five days a week usually we run three days a week for 80,000 a year but if you want you do have the option to make 130,000 your first year if you wanna run five days a week

You’re telling the truth bro! Since I was still a rookie, but the experienced wasn’t bad, my favorites route was WaWa. One thing though it depends who’s your partner, if you have a good partner and your partner ready to work you better off. I left last July of last year I’m thinking about to go back soon

I worked for Mclane (2014-2023) forklift driver, selector, and driver. Overall great company, but you have to earn the money

They use this Accurate background company ..They asking for pay stubs or 1099 for non cdl jobs I had 3 years ago ,I moved states and I don’t have access to that information ..Already have my tentative start date and already did drug test ,Dot …think that lack of information will affect hiring ?
