I Always Call Your Name (The Gillis Brothers)
Tuning: Standard
The Gillis Brothers are, in my opinion, the best bluegrass group in Modern Times (if you'd consider 1990's modern).
All of their songs are great, both originals and covers. If you like hard driving bluegrass you should give them a listen. This is from their album "Sunshine In The Shadows".
It is FINALLY getting warm enough to be able to pick outside. The goofy groundhog says it's gonna be 6 more weeks of Winter though, so we will see. It's probably all an elaborate ruse and we'll get our 2nd winter sure enough.

This is an old Frank Proffitt song. His son, Frank Proffitt Jr, talked about how Frank and his grandfather, Nathan Hicks came over and "played their misery out". Sharp dressed man plays sharp sounding banjo. Another winner, cheers Tyler. 🪕 In answer to today's question, I put down my guitar a long time ago, but always enjoyed playing Captain Beefheart's Sure 'Nuff 'N Yes I Do. Nice easy bottleneck part, bit of walking bass and a groove you can settle in to - and then you get to the third verse and the whole thing trips over itself. Absolutely loved that bit once I got the hang of it.
