Since Todd Howard seems Burnt out on TES games I dont see TES VI being anything awesome. Breaks my heart to say this but I feel this way. At least we still have Morrowind,Skyrim,and Oblivion to mod up and play all the new content people keep making. And theres a ton of new c ontent for all those games. I think that thefake Morrowind they added to ESO it was pretty much the end of me and the series,..sadly. On a side note,I cringe at the idea of another Witcher game. He already looks rather geriatric. Old. If keep ageing him,he'll have to be walking with a walker rather than him being a great warrior..

If they just think even the littlest bit, it won't. They have to realize players want good voice acting and for people to react and not look like f****** clay npc creatures. Also as a 20 yo im tired of playing as people in their 30s and 40s let me make an attractive 20 yo charachter that I can play as for once instead of having to download mods to do so

The sad reality is that TESVI will sell immensely regardless of what the Bethesda diehards of old think. Most people who bought and loved Skyrim probably don’t keep up with gaming news. I used to give Bethesda a free pass. If they released a game I knew it would be incredible… but even with Skyrim I felt the RPG elements were diluted, then Fallout 4 was even more diluted, and now Starfield is the pinnacle of their weakened RPG crusade. They’ve replaced rich RPG elements (which made games like Baldur’s Gate 3 so popular) with shallow crafting and I’m very concerned that TESVI will continue down this trend, and it’ll be another adventure looter with ever shallower worlds and characters.

Even if this game is good (which I doubt, given Bethesda's recent history), there is no way it will live up to the hype.

Not only is KCD one of the best RPGs of all time but Warhorse Studios are among the best game devs working today. Their commitment to historical accuracy even in the face of the toxic environment which games journalism has become (criticising this and the upcoming sequel for their "lack of diversity" etc) is something they are, and indeed should be, proud of. Their commitment to producing an outstanding game is also worth mentioning: when their Kickstarter exceeded its funding target by a huge margin, they could have taken the money, delivered a crappy game, and called it a day. But instead they delayed the game, put on more staff, and made the game even better. To say I'm excited about the sequel is an understatement. Great video liked and shared.

Never played Starfield. I don’t see what the problem is. I doubt an Elder Scrolls game will be anything like Starfield. If Starfield sucks that’s on the players of Starfield and the devs of that game. I just like Elder Scrolls. I don’t play Fallout either. They don’t affect me at all.

If they make me do do something/collect something/turn something on in groups of 3 in the the first 20 minutes of the game. It’s over I’m destroying the console itself

Without watching the video, ruining TES is achieved very simple by making a single player game always online. No matter the content of the game, that'll be enough for me to lose interest.

Fallout 3 and Oblivion are easily the best games they’ve ever made. Skyrim is fun, but it’s very obvious they stripped things out and dumbed things down. Everybody likes to pretend New Vegas is better than 3, but the reality is 3 has a far better atmosphere.

Fallout 4 did a lot of things right, and a LOT of things wrong. Starfield, however, is a fucking mess. Nearly unplayable, and more importantly, UNFUN.

The core of the engine is what doesn't change. They can increase it's horsepower a bit, slap on new lighting and rendering engines, but the editor is the same. The source code is still based on gamebryo. The debugger is the same, the map is the same, the editor is the same. I think the bigger problem isn't the engine, but how they're using it. And they need to fire Emil, he just writes the same damn story over and over.

Cant talk about Starfield cause I havent played it. But Cyberpunk melee combat was so bad 😂 it looks good to watch. But it just doesnt feel good when actually playing. It feels like this game was made for 3rd person but then somebody said „No change it to 1st person but leave everything as it is“

Another great comparison between Starfield and Cyberpunk is their use of a hot topic known as DEI. Starfield seemed to have slapped it in there like mayonaise as a spice, having little if any impact to interactions. Cyberpunk used it to flavor things up and actually have some impact on how the characters behaved, it felt natural and not forced.

Well to be honest I'm surprised that Bethesda game studios still in business especiallly with what happened to Fallout 76. The fact that the game has the worst multiplayer server, still has the bugs present in Fallout 4 & people reviewed it as being boring for lacking NPC. They also sold real life products Fallout 76 collectors edition has a map, helmet, plastic action figure toys, & the West Tec duffel bag. Those people who bought the collectors edition noticed that the duffel bag is made out of NOT CANVAS but NYLON. They emailed Bethesda & Bethesda replied with " We ran out of canvas material we are not planning to do anything about it." Now obviously many consumers got mad so to fix the damage Bethesda gave another peace offering those who bought the collector's edition shall have a free 500 atoms which is the online currency of the game. But the problem is it's the minimum currently not even enough to buy the digital canvas bag. So fans became more angry & Bethesda finally decided to make it right by making a website for people who want their canvas bag but the problem is the website is not secure it got hacked & Bethesda was forced to shut it down. And you know what's worst they actually gave a napsack / backpack that is made out of canvas but they gave it to influencers for FREE so the costumers that spent money got garbage but the influencers got free good quality stuff. 2) Nuka Dark Rum. Near christmas Bethesda advertised another thing for this crappy game the product nuka cola shall be made to reality which might be the best idea on paper you get to display it in a bar, share a drink of it with your friends. But then what happend it got delayed again & again & when it finally arrived it turns out the bottle is not glass like advertised it's plastic & there are reports that it taste like piss. Another advertisment is the leather vault 76 jacket but it looks like cheap plastic they fans even posted a picture of blue plastic bag with tape on it that has the number 76 to show how cheap it looks. But hey atleast they are truthful about the product this time I'm even surprised that people still bought Starfield.

TLDR: yes, probably.

It will probably be terribele. And definatley sell great.

TESVI would have to be 500+ Hours long, have a map the size of at least the contiguous United States, be able to run on a SNES, and come out for free AND be the greatest game of the decade for the wait to be even remotely worth it. Also, as a Marylander, I am personally sorry for Bethesda’s conduct over the last 15 years :(
