Hi Jack. I'm a 50 something year old guy and attracted to guys of all ages. But I have to admit that there's nothing better than a beautiful body and I just can't help being attracted to seeing maybe 25 to 40 year old guys that are really buff especially watching the Paris Olympics.I'm just over the moon after seeing Jules bouer in those Speedos. Anyway my neighbor heard me saying what I just said about Jules. Now she's going around telling people that I'm a pedophile. Which I think is just absolutely disgusting I tried to educate her on the fact that there are a lot of gay men that are attracted to young gay men. And it's been that way for a long time. Example being the emperor Hadrian and his Young lover antinous. It didn't do any good she's still going around comparing me to these pedophilias. I'm not in a relationship with anyone right now and it's very depressing to have no one to talk to about this. Thanks for sharing your story. I left Christianity for a similar reason-the discovery that I was gay, and knowing there wasn’t anything wrong with that. It led me to examine ALL the religious beliefs with which I’d been indoctrinated, over many decades, and eventually my theism evaporated around age 58. I am enjoying your channel!

As a progressive Catholic, I mourn the loss of LGBTQ+ Catholics as they leave the Church. I understand the pain that the Catholic hierarchy has inflicted on gay and lesbian Catholics. I believe given his druthers Pope Francis would make the church more friendly to sexual minorities. The Church doesn't realize how much it needs the energy, creativity, skills and experiences of all of its members (c'mon could a straight person compose the music, create the art and sculpture or even design the clerical vestments?). I am sticking around the Church because when Vatican III comes, it will be the laity who will call the shots and make the rules.

This was extremely healing and new insight for me as someone who went and was around a Christian school and indoctrination that new I am overcoming. Sexual shame, guilt and trauma sucks but I know this won’t be my whole life or forever

I'm pretty much done with religion at this point. I did have a Catholic upbringing to some extent, but in my experience, the Catholic Church was not nearly as bad as the Mormons and JW. They were (or still are?) really harsh! John Bern had interesting things to say about that. It's no excuse for the Catholic Church in general, but I feel they weren't as bad as these other denominations.

I was with my partner for 13 years we met at a local Mcdonalds in 2004 and fell in love. I was 32 and he was 79 going on 80 when we first met and we also had an open relationship. He passed away in 2017 at the age of 93. Last month I finaly came out to my family and friends. They support me 100 percent
