Please either talk louder or lower the sound of that disgusting beep (although seeing now this is 2y old you might've addressed this already) Second of all that background is amazing, I love your house's location. Also I didn't know there's teflon is hairdryers wtf, why do humans keep putting toxic stuff in everything. I've dried my bird a couple of times with one and now I'll need to think of alternatives. do you think a pigeon, which is scared of humans, can learn from a hand raised pigeon, through watching me interacting with it, that I am no harm to them? I ask because I have two pigeons; one feral adult, which is scared every time I go to the cage (but finally eats out of my hand) and one young hand raised which is very fearless and likes me very much :)

So where i work i start to feed a stray pigeon i have no experience with birds before, today when i pour some food for it i get little close and didn't move to show it i am not danger it can feel safe around me but when it eat some food it step back a little and started shaking it head (straight head, clockwise, circle)ish anyone know what it trying to tell me?

Aww this makes me so happy, some 'wild' (feral) pigeons have adopted me and today after I fed them one was doing what I now know to be beak grinding! So she's content around me 😊 I was copying her, just whispering "mlem mlem" back to her lol

i volunteer at a wildlife rehab centre in their songbird room and we've always got rock doves and mourning doves in for treatment, and they're such a delight to work with, pigeons have always been my favourite birds :>

Hello! Can somebody help me? So my father got me a pigeon and as to what i think he doesn't trust me. He always bites me aggressively whenever i reach my hand to him and he doesn't come near me and always runs away from me and I've to forcefully catch him and pet him. Although i don't like it too. Also he coos alot even when I'm givin him my attention. I've noticed he coos more when he sees birds flyin in the sky. And it feels like he's calling out to them and he wants to be freed. Can somebody help me? It also feels like he's happy on his own sitting alone and doesn't like to be touched by me.

I got my first pigeons ever recently and used the video of your pigeon bathing to show them, and they both saw it and started cleaning themselves so I guess showing them other birds bathing might help!

Hi! I know this is an old video but I wanted to share- I started watching your videos a few weeks ago the day after my dad was going to bring me a pidgeon who needed rehabilitation. (I have no experience with pidgeons and am not a rehabber btw he was just bringing it to me cuz it needed a place to be while we figured out what to do with it next + I have a lot of experience doing the vet stuff for our poultry so I can do first aid level things for many birds). Unfortunately the bird didn’t make it more than an hour after getting home. but I had gotten so excited about having a pidgeon around and having set up a now empty space for one i was heartbroken. My dad and I went looking online and I found someone rehoming on Craigslist. I watched some of your videos and did more reaserch in my spare time up until today when I got a pair of pidgeons of my own! This video was so helpful to have watched before getting them! Thank you so much and In less than a day my pidgeons have been preening, and they have very relaxed wings with me sitting less than 10 feet away. I’m so excited and I’m glad I knew what to look out for to make sure they are settling in nicely. Thank you ❤️

i have gotten a half dozen wild pigeons who come visit me everyday eat out of hand and four of them land on my arm or shoulder we go for a walk then they hang out on the patio for a bit before leaving

At one hand, I feed ny nearby pigeon with sunflowers seeds, which they love In another hand, I got my black cat, who likes to chase pigeons despite never catching any In result, some local pigeons may follow me on my yard, but still keep their distance and always flee when they see any slightly fast movement or my cat. Some pigeons are always more suspicious than others, like I got one with white wings that walks very near to humans

Hey I have a male rock pigeon that's being very territorial over the whole house,he isn't scared but he does bite us whenever we get close,but if we pick him up and preen him he chills out,is there a way to make him non territorial?
