The lawn is my hobby, and I enjoy sharing my hobby with other lawn enthusiasts. I focus on sharing content about what I do on my lawn. I'm located on the north side of the Dallas/Fort Worth area, and I currently have Raleigh St. Augustine in the front and common bermuda in the backyard.

Using Only An Automower For My Bermuda Lawn - Full Season Review
มุมมอง 568ปีที่แล้ว
I started the season at a little over 500 hours of use on the mower, and I ended with just shy of 1300 hours of use! Absolutely wild how much this mower had to run to achieve the cut I wanted. Speaking of that, the cut quality is there. My only concern is if I’ll get the longevity of this mower compared to what I usually get out of a rotary or reel mower. If you have any questions, please leave...
Firewood Rack by Greener / Tool Review Time
มุมมอง 94ปีที่แล้ว
This garden tool was sent to me from Greener through Amazon, and all I had to do was leave a review about it. They did not say it had to be a good review, however, if I didn't like it, I wouldn't recommend it to you. This firewood rack really cleaned up my wood pile to my liking, and keeps the wood off the ground. 4 feet: amzn.to/46zr8vL 8 feet: amzn.to/3QjThkR The views expressed in this video...

Maybe tighten the part you were showing because I just did that and it's perfectly fine.
Thanks for the video!!
Hi, I would like to sponsor you a new smart irrigation controller where you can do all the watering operations through the app and can automatically skip watering based on the weather, are you interested?
How do you keep the front yard weed free?
The loose steering isn't associated with that plastic nut, though 🤨 The allen/hex bolt on the handlebar stem needs to be tightened. EDIT: I bought this bike and have ZERO problems. I guarantee this guy didn't follow the directions correctly. There are TWO spring loaded pins that lock the neck and folk together, with a door which covers the top pin that locks it in place.
This bike doesn’t have one.
@DaydreamingOfSleep Correct. I actually bought this bike for my 4yo and have zero issues. Pretty sure he didn't lock in the top spring loaded pin. I assume he didn't follow the directions.
I just seen a bike assembly of this bike here where he mallots the handle bars twice to set it into place. th-cam.com/video/379rZ_PZ43s/w-d-xo.htmlsi=b_Q6G5vcbYDta2VB
Now i see why it was only $48
Zero problems here. Have to follow the directions... which I assume he didn't do.
We got the 16 inch red Huffy Rock It bike and it does the same thing . I've tightened it almost every time we ride . I don't understand why its made like it is . Bad design .
how does the 2 piece crankarm comes apart?
That whistle screech is amazing
Thanks for the video. I am finding the same problem with ours. I have a question though, because I had a 71 chevelle like that in high school, same color with Crager SS wheels. Any chance you got that in Oklahoma back in 2000-2001? I miss it so much lol
👍👍
I just planted my first rye grass and it's Beautiful but I am trying to learn when to water how much and when it's ok to walk on it and mow. I have zero experience at grass tips would be very appreciated.
Hello, are you interested in trying out the smart irrigation controller? Just provide real feedback.
I am considering doing this as I have the equipment. What herbicide do you use to kill off the rye in January for the Bermuda to grow in?
Upon completion of watching this video it occurred to me I spent all my time looking at your car and not your assembly video :)
looks like Lake Highlands in Dallas
Wonder if the ingeneer who designed the saw ever try it. It is stupid idea to put saw on the end of 15' pole. It will either break your back or you will have to let it crash down to the ground and say good bye to your saw. Still, it is worth the money, with pole or without.
Bro, this guy just has a way of explaining things to make you understand and feel comfortable with it
I live in San Antonio Texas. I have Bermuda grass and I ordered some Hattrick and fireball perennial grass seeds so you’re saying it’s good to spread them in the middle of October and when spring comes on will my Bermuda grass grow back out on its own or am I gonna have to do something for it
Thank you. You made this really easy.
I bought a 530 about 5 yrs ago the 2.5 amp battery for my needs I have to use turbo constantly. I am now down to one 2.5 amp battery from three. A new 2.5 amp battery is $200, I can get the 765 model with 5.0 battery and charger for $300. Looks like I will be upgrading and sell the 530 on Craigslist
My problem exactly. Great video. Thank you
That's a huge amount of cash for rye grass. I just use discount 10.00 5lb bag from Ollie's. Gulf Rye seed
$70 for a 50lb Pennington rye at Lowe’s. Works great too
Say what flowers are those behind you by the house (pink). I can't seem to get anything growing at my backyard. That hot sun just scorches everything ive tried. Even cactus and succulents didn't make it.
Bubblegum petunias… however I haven’t been able to have that kind of success with them since those. The other kind I’ve had success with has been Vincas.
What year is your Malibu? It's nice.
Thank you… it’s a 1970
Thank you
HOAs - your grass isn’t green fix it. Also HOAs- your grass is too green fix it.
Thank you for this video. Followed you lead and got it together quickly! 😊
I used to try edging with the string trimmer and wasn’t getting very good results. Once I switched to this edger, the results were incredible!! Like night and day. One of my favorite dozen or so Ryobi tools 👍🏻👍🏻
I agree! And mine is still running strong after a few seasons. Very happy with it still
I should have watched this before I bought mine today lol 😂 I think I bought a dud but hey I only spent $150
I hope it’s easy fixes for you and it still stays a good deal! Let us know what all you do to it to get it up to speed. Good luck and thanks for sharing
I found you can tighten that nut with a channel lock pliers and it eliminates most of the play. It is a poor design however. I haven't found a way to lower the handle bar neck. It's riveted in place. Picked ours up on FB for $15 so will use it until it displays more problems.
I got 1 of these, put it together, instantly HATED it, it's simply out, a piss POOR design
Agreed!
Can't get the chain back on this pos.
YoI’m gotta come back! Cool lawn season is coming up!
Thanks for this info. First time trying to over seed my backyard and have no idea what type is even back there but there is a lot of bald and muddy areas. Any suggestions on what to do😅 was thinking on throwing this rye beginning september but should i throw the same for spring or a different seed?
Also located in North texas
Sorry for the late response. Just started getting back into this. So the rye grass did pretty well but when summer rolls around it’s out. Last year I experimented on a spot and found Kentucky 31 tall fescue actually gives you a green winter grass and tolerates the hot summers. That’s only in shaded areas. If it’s getting full sun, then your Bermuda or st Augustine should take over.
Thank you so much for the video. It was very helpful.
Huffy is cheap as shit but id imagine a lil anti seize could help with a quick fix. That or match the thread pitch to a retaining but that's metal.
Where's the brake for this?
Pedal backwards for the rear wheel brake. No hand brake.
I have the 615 it’s a perfect mix
I loved my 530 for the whole year i was able to use it. Now that it has to be serviced, I have to wait an entire month. before I can take it to the nearest service center which is an hour and fifteen minute drive away from me just so I can drop it off and for them to tell me whether or not it can be repaired or replaced. 🤨
Can you post the link on where you purchased the rear assembly at that price? No way I’m paying $250 plus thru McClane
eBay auction
Just got into reel mowing. I got my McLane for 25$ and so far I've only had to buy the front roller and the bed knife.
U r very smart man. 😊😊
Now it cost $159 Bidenomics. Bidenflation. We still feel stung by prices that have risen.
Wow that’s a big price jump!
thankyou for this video. helped me help my dad attach the fraget (or whatever you called it) to the chainsaw
The plastic "caps" on the crank arms just before the pedals, are covering some sort of locking piece, and I can't seem to remove the crank arm ends to replace the bearings. Anyone know how to disassemble this?
Thanks
I was able to get a crazy deal on Amazon for a 615CFM model, with a powerload trimmer and 2.5AH battery for $229, but if I were to get just the leaf blower it would be the 530. It’s already well enough power
I just bought this edger and it is a great tool. The blade even got rid of the rocks that line my driveway pad. AND I bought mine from eBay and it came quicker than Amazon packages.
