I think you did a great job of catching the important issues in the lyrics especially if you don't usually catch lyrics the first time (I'm the same way). Many reactors are so put off by the silliness of the musical format that they don't pay very good attention and talk over the most important reveals. As far as the thing with Xander, I'm guessing here, but I've always assumed Xander didn't understand what he'd done or connect it with what was happening until the demon started talking about how he was summoned by the amulet. My impression was Xander only had a vague idea that making a wish on the amulet would give he and Anya a happy ending. I mean I assume that if the magic shop had all the info about what the amulet actually did they wouldn't be trying to sell it to random people. It's never really explained of course, but like you pointed out it would be pretty messed up if Xander knew all along but never said anything while they were all researching. I assume the demon only thought Dawn summoned him because she was the only person who wore the amulet. The henchmen show up the moment she puts it on.

I remember a lot of people complained about Joyce in season 1. I never understood it. Her son is missing, she's allowed to do whatever she needs. Maybe all mothers called Joyce are misunderstood? Cause Buffy's mother got a lot of hate as well. Steve is one my favourite characters in this show =)

Speaking of addressing potential spoilers after you are done with show(s).... since I know you are done with Buffy, can you either react to or just comment on any documentary / interview clips that show James Marsters with his natural accent? :D

After one particular movie scene experience I had myself a handful of years ago (granted, not officially reacting, but still; watching with roommates)... I am personally not a fan of "holding it in" anymore, because successful doing so actually made my brain hurt, lol. You reminded me of that experience when you said you had to look away from the screen during this episode- I had also done something like that with the movie I'm thinking of, although it was sort of difficult since I was reclined on the floor with my hands behind my head. Plus, there was still audio getting to my brain, so there I was, trying through sheer willpower to make my brain go blank, so that no tears would finish coming out. WELL... holding THAT in felt SO painful to my brain, that a few seconds later I thought, "Wow, can I rewind time and change my mind so I can let it out, please? I don't even care if my roommates are here!" :P

A pet peeve of mine (and this isn't directed necessarily at you), is when people automatically throw mental health diagnosis out there. Autism, Bipolar, Borderline . . . these get thrown around a lot. And as a mental health therapist myself, it drives me nuts. People, in general, are quick to want to label things. In this case, no, Merilla doesn't have Autism, she just as a routine and it throws her off when it's not the same routine. Same for anyone. We as humans don't like change. We like things the way we expect them to be. It's how we handle the change that makes the difference. Also remember the times we are in for the show. Women were expected to behave one way, men the other. You were supposed to dress a certain way, you spoke a certain way, . . . . It's just strict times contrasted with Anne's openness. Can't wait to have you keep venturing down this path.

I don't mind that you talk through scenes sometimes because you always go back to clairfy or ask questions, etc. which shows you're engaged which makes it better for watching. Better than a reaction where the person is nearly silent the whole time- because at that point, why not watch the actual episode on your own, you know?

If he was 4 at 1977 then He was born in 1973 which means at 2003 was 30 years old. It's easy for me because I was born in 1983. I think Dawn has similar age and She was like 18-19 years here.

Speaking of humans potentially living for ~300 years... I think I tried to look up one time if there is some scientific way to more or less accurately tell the age of fossilized humans in terms of their "individual age" (i.e. not how long they've been fossilized, but their life span).... or lifespans of other creatures like dinosaurs for that matter. I think I remember the best that could be done were "rough estimates" based on tooth wear, etc. But unlike the "millions of years" estimates for "how long has this been fossilized", radiometric dating is not fine-tuned enough to really tell "lifespan data." It's supposed to have a margin of error of as low as 2% but when I look up "youngest fossils" (10,000 years old), 2 percent of that is a whopping plus or minus 200 years. So from what I can gather, there is not really a scientific definitive way to tell whether very ancient humans lived lifespans we're familiar with today... or younger... or older. I just think that's fascinating.

This show is just so good. I always forgot how good. I don't know how you watch it slowly. Yes, every episode is a cliffhanger, for the whole series, really.

Don’t want to spoil anything but Steve acted like a dumb teenager, how would you feel if you catch your girlfriend with someone else, again he acted stupid but I blame Nancy on this one, she should just told Steve that is over but like even Jonathan told her that she was not being herself, again I don’t want to say any more about this. Can we talk about Mike jumping off the cliff NOT knowing that 11 was going to help him. He did not know but it proved that he is a true friend and will do anything to protect them. Eleven is not in the Upside Down, rather she’s in the “Void” got the info from the Stranger Things Wiki…..The Void is a visual representation of a psychokinetic test subject’s mind when immersed in a highly particular psychic state, which can be achieved through sensory deprivation or exposure to electrical static. In this state, such individuals can use extra sensory perception to psychically project themselves to other locations, or locate other conscious entities.

I like it when you talk about Buffy a lot in these since I just finished ALL your Buffy reactions (and your one re-watch review) ;) Yay for the Angel reactions; I sort of feel like I'm starting over with a new adventure of yours (but like you, I do like Buffy better haha).

OK, I watched your entire Buffy finale re-watch / review, and I first want to say THANK YOU for doing it (!!). It was actually much more than "better than nothing"-- I thought it was amazing. Like you said, I know it's not an equivalent replacement of a first-time reaction of course, but I really really enjoyed your re-watch/review even much more than I thought I would (and I started out predicting I'd enjoy it!). We could say you actually had a great "reaction to the memory of your own reaction" :) It's been such a pleasure watching with you, every single Buffy reaction (and re-reaction) that you posted on TH-cam! It's actually the only full series that I've wanted to find a reactor for, and you did not disappoint! Also, you are the first (and so far, the only) "Buffy" reactor I've followed. And although I do enjoy Buffy more than "Angel", I am still going to track down all your posted "Angel" episodes too :D And depending on what other things you decide to post, maybe movie reactions or whatever :D. Anyway, it's been fun, definitely!

It's easy enough to have both videos open LOL I'm not lazy :P) Yup, sometimes repeating or even just paraphrasing lines can make one emotional all over again- reminds me of how, there are certain movies where I've written (on others' reaction videos) certain lines from the movie to quote them and comment... and just TYPING them sometimes "gets me" all over again lol.

Am ten minutes into your Buffy Finale re-watch: Yes I actually would be interested in the "intro" you were talking about around this time... I like to see as much of the experience as possible. But only if you feel up to it of course! :)

My SECOND comment on your Buffy Finale Rewatch": Again, like I said in my first comment, I am still only less than four minutes into that video, but I wanted to especially say: THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU for doing a review / re-watch of that finale, despite what happened to your first-time-watch! Even this early into that video, we're already seeing how second-time watches can STILL be special in their own ways! And (while not unheard of, actually) we hardly ever see second-time reaction / reviews on TH-cam (a FEW reactors actually have done a FEW re-watches of things, actually, if you weren't aware!)

OK HERE is my first comment on your Buffy Finale Rewatch"! I am still only less than four minutes into that video, but I gotta say this before I forget exactly what I want to say, haha... :P The 5-second clip at the beginning where you are so surprised at your own RE-WATCH reaction... is SO relatable, especially with my own re-watches of the movie "Nimona" for example (!). But BEFORE that, even movies that would provoke an intense FIRST-time reaction from me would do NOTHING upon a re-watch. And since that was around the time I had become a particular fan of "impactful" movies, that phenomenon was actually quite frustrating for me (!). Then along came "Nimona". Upon my second re-watch of Nimona (a day later, in fact, after my first), I was like... "REALLY?! Wow, again??" :P. And in fact... "Nimona" turned out to be a... FIFTEEN-TIMES "repeater" for me! I did EVENTUALLY "wear it out", but man, that took a while!

My second thought during your apology video (see my first comment first!) --> ------> 2) When you said something to the effect of "No way to fix it", I immediately got the image of (from "Men In Black") the little flashy memory-messer-upper-thing engaging :D OR the device in the movie "Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind" ... which I think you should react to ;) .... but yeah that's pretty much the only way to "fix" that if we get that sort of technology (or time travel technology) eventually haha. -----> Speaking of time travel, if I ever become a reactor myself, I'm going to wish I had such technology to re-do my OWN first watches of "Inside Out" and "Interstellar" :P Again, if I ever become a reactor, more realistically, I would definitely plan to at least talk about my first experiences of those and do a "review"... sort of like you did a "second-time" review video for the Buffy finale :) Regardless of whether I film(ed) my first-time reactions to the above two movies or not... I still think it'd be interesting if I could time-travel and change a couple things about my own first reaction experiences: For "Inside Out", I wish I hadn't tried to "hold in" certain things while watching (even though my roommates were there!). As it was, it felt like doing so had busted a few of my brain cells! :P For "Interstellar", I wish I'd watched the whole thing in one sitting... WITHOUT trying to eat lunch at the same time! Because... keep in mind, I can get really enthusiastic about, and distracted by, my food! And at that point it had been three years since I'd seen anything nearly as impactful as "Inside Out". But I really wasn't expecting much; I had sort of "accidentally stumbled upon" the movie Interstellar. So, during my first watch of "Interstellar", during THE MOST impactful scene, I was chewing on a salad. SO, I was half-distracted when I REALLY would have NOT wanted to be distracted :P

I'm going to do what you hoped everyone would do, but which hardly anyone ended up doing, lol: I'm going to comment HERE, on the two links you put up in your pinned comment :D By the way, I think one reason not many people are commenting here, regarding THOSE two links is because... for some reason (I myself, for example) seem to have a "memory reduction" of sorts immediately after I navigate / click-away from those video(s), to this video. So I end up feeling less confident about remembering everything I wanted to say :P Not sure how THAT happens, but it seems to be a thing! I thought you had decided not to do this after all since it has been ages since you did the first one. Glad to see you picking it back up again. There are times when this show is better than Buffy. And it has my third favorite ship of all time, which is not Scott and Allison or Scott and anyone. I like my ships to have to put serious time in to earn it, to build a friendship first, not just fall into something from the beginning. That's why I prefer Spike and Buffy over Buffy and Angel even though I liked Buffy and Angel. But I digress. Lydia is not very nice here. All she appears to really cares about is her status as queen bee at school and if Jackson isn't on top of his sport, she won't be on top for dating him. Although she was nice enough to take Allison under her wing, if Allison hadn't been pretty or fashionable, you know she wouldn't have. Jackson is mean because he wants to be on top as well, but I don't think it is because he wants to be popular so much as he wants to be the best, top dog in the pack so to speak. It makes me wonder if he earned his position in lacrosse or if he always played dirty by using his friends to get his way if anyone even started to be a better player. Scott is letting his hormones get the better of him and being reckless in his risk taking. Part of this is being a teenage boy and part of it is the wolf. He wants to impress Allison. I don't think the drive to be popular would be so great if Allison hadn't come to the school and become insta popular. He would have been more reasonable about playing or at least playing with so much aggression. He doesn't listen to Stiles or Derek when he really should. Stiles is now the voice of reason, which considering Stiles is the one who originally convince Scott to go out looking for a dead body the night Scott was attacked. So he and Scott have reversed roles from the first episode. One thing that is great about this show is that you can already see what a large parental presence there is going to be, not just with one parent, but with three at present. These kids don't exist in a vacuum. They have parents that interact with them, worry about them, take care of them, and that love them. It is refreshing. I hope we will see the next episode sooner than we saw this one.

I think you're getting two characters mixed up (understandably so- they look similar). There's Josie Pye who is Anne's age and is the blonde girl who's kind of stuck up and not as friendly to Anne. Then there is Prissy Andrews who is an older girl also in the class (since the classes are mostly not separated by age, due to it being such a small community). She sits in the back she SHE is the one who is getting the teacher's attention, not Josie. She is maybe 16 which is still disturbing but she's older than Anne who is about 13.
