Technically speaking...an F50 is a much superior Ferrari, sounds a world better and it is a much rarer machine albeit a lot uglier...it is indeed more special but it never looked like it - as we know people buy looks...

In all my years, I've only ever seen one on the road and it was about a fortnight ago in Brasted in Kent. I was going the other way on a motorcycle, sat quite high and it did look absolutely fantastic.

I think Ferrari should do a reissue of this car, but with some modern tweaks and aimed at the same market as the GT3. They’d sell loads of them.

Let’s not forget the Koenig always avoided the scrutiny of German car magazines in their time. Claims of massive power, but I remember well that when Auto Motor & Sport tried to high speed test a 328, it basically broke down. Never seen a proper instrumented review again. Make of that what you will.

Famously, the paint on an F40 is the only automotive coating thinner than Tiff’s leather jackets.

Tiff is the best. No one else comes close to presenting and driving cars.
