I loved their relationship, even though sometimes it’s a little awkward because of the age gap. I’m not sure how old Madeleine is-my guess would be late 20s to mid-30s.Can I just say, I literally cried when Madeleine declined to join the theater. Even though Claudia nodded as that was telling Madeleine "Save yourself, I’ll understand," it was heartbreaking. And when Madeleine said, "My coven is Claudia," that’s when the waterworks really started for me.

One of the best characters of revived doctor who. I don’t think much of her at first but DOTD and every subsequent appearance proved she was a force to be reckoned with and she is absolutely a worthy character and successor to the brigadier. We love you Kate, and Jemma too obviously
