I'm sooooo excited for it. I want the whole seduction, rose peddles, bubble bath, AND the accidental playing of Lastat's greatest hit song's on repeat.
I thought all the "Alice was actually Armand" theories were kinda far-fetched at first, but the acting/directing choices at 1:49 are a little suspicious 👀 It's the face journey Assad goes on especially... the closely watching as if to see what Daniel remembers, the small beat of complicated relief he doesn't that's mixed with small disappointment, and then the need to comfort him. And then the way he says "You hadn't given her a reason to" with a sort of annoyed edge to his voice compared to the words of comfort...
that's what i think too! Like Armand thought Daniel only wanted him for his blood. So he didn't trust that Daniel actually loved him. Why else would Armand know that Alice wanted to say yes? I'm feral for every Daniel/Armand theory. I love them in the books.
RIGHT? currently I'm of the thought that Alice is real but not all Daniels memories of her are. Like I think memories of armand blurred into memories of Alice. Just feels messier and more complex than Alice not existing at all. But yeah that moment doesn't make all that much sense if Armand and Daniel don't have more history together.
@@alizardinyourroom1361 Fr and his comment to Daniel "drugs did more damage to your brain then those 5 nights in San Francisco", on the surface it doesn't seem like a whole lot but with the context of the books in mind (no pun intended) that one comment was the crux of their relationship.
Omg look at how hot and bothered Armand is at 1:01- I cannot wait for S3/4, when he drops the act and Daniel learns about how exciting his 70s/80s REALLY were…
Daniel's zesty tho. It's wild he grilling his host at his own house?! In his own table?! Flipping savage. 😂 In all seriousness, tho, I love the banter between these two. It feels like they're fencing with whips, and Daniel thinks he's winning.
It's true. What makes it funnier is Armand is seldom shading him back. Like letting it build up only to score it after. Man. I never thought I wanted to see two old guys go to town but this is compelling. 😂
I love how the strongest one in the room (Armand), appears to be the weakest 😄. Armand could have read Daniel's mind, could have frozen him and or could have manipulated it anytime he wanted to but he didn't/doesn't. Armand was really enjoying the intellectual challenge Daniel kept throwing at him (raising his voice at him, interrupting him mid sentence, looking at him with suspicion, etc.).
I’m more convinced than ever that Daniel broke his heart w addiction and his wish to be turned. And now he took Louis from him too… oh boy, I don’t know what was more prominent right before Armand turned him, the violence or the making out. We need to find out in S3 😫✨👌
as a show-only watcher, i had no idea these two were suppose to be romantically involved eventually..... i personally don't see it, but excited to see how they explore the relationship in season 3.
the way i need to see him kiss that old man (the old man is armand)
yeah a 500 pls year old man
😭
😂😂😂

The way Louis doesn't see that Armand is clearly into Daniel, he probably hadn't felt... challenged like that in years...
If we don't get more enemies to lovers energy in season 3 I'm throwing my tv from the roof, after I climb on top of it.
Enemies to lovers already happened. We will see it in flashback in season 3.
the tension between these two they better deliver enemies to lovers slowburn in s3
“Your at the table”
“I’m in our dining room”
“Your not dining 😐”
look at how excited armand is at 4:14 when daniel's brought up the fire in the archives - this is such a great detail
Who up deviling their minions rn?
LMAAAOOOO

Ikr! and i really hope they go that route, it's so much more raunchy! Adding all these nuances to their interactions during the interview
@@brontebell9676 also makes Armand's "we've been together for 77 years really funny, just another raindrop in the ocean lol

The way they said "Yeah?" "Yeah." at 1:09????

Lol hot and bothered? Maybe admiration but hot and bothered?
@@Gbaby_1241I agree. 😂 Flirtatious yes but Armand looked more dangerous in that white shirt scene.
Can't wait for more of these two, the switch in dynamics is going to be amazing to watch

Well, he did win, he destroyed their marriage while not giving a fuck 😎
@@XMissGX I think he destroyed their marriage because he's angry at Armand. I think he and Daniel had something.
plus they’re vampires??? danny boy dgaf, i couldn’t love him more

He wants that cookie so bad.
0:45 I would be so lost if Armand looked at me the way he looks at Daniel!
I would forget my name I think. :3
