When I turn on my heat or AC, nothing is blowing on the passenger side or sometimes you can barely feel it. Only the driver side works great. Could that method help fix the problem?

If it's a bad pulley, it will still be a problem. Pretty cool, UT not the cure all.

Totally worked on Nissan Kicks 2019. We just bought it and dial was whack. Used "sticky tack" and drill. 30 seconds each way.. I have butyl rubber strip but couldn't locate it in garage 😅 Thanks! All good now!!! I also used a hex driver bit instead of a screwdriver just to be extra careful

My new belts been chirping for months, it seems a lot of new belts squeak, this stopped it as soon as I started the car

Can we use this in a electric bike which is belt driven as some people says that it will attract more dust particles because in cars belts are inside but in electric vehicles it is open ... So totally confused please tell us

Fixed my problem. 2013 Taurus Limited, the passenger side climate was stuck on A/C, tight and difficult for me as I’m not very mechanical but in 30 minutes with multiple breaks I was able to get it done, I finally figured out to put a pillow down so I wasn’t crushing my ribs which made the ordeal much better. Thank you for this video it saved me money

I am having difficulty getting at the actuator because of the black cover that goes over top, can I cut the holding pin to loosen that piece so I can access that actuator easily.

Those volume and tuner controls are actually variable resistor/potentiometers and that neat little trick in the vid is ONLY a temporary "fix"...the cause of the issue is carbon deposits on the graduated resistor contacts inside precipitated by a breakdown of the cheap semi-conductive lubricant....the only permanent fix is to remove and dismantle each potentiometer ,remove the bad lubricant ,carefully clean the deposits from the contacts and brushes, lube with very thin application of DeOxit DL100, and carefully put it all back together.....I have permanently repaired thousands volume/tuner controls this way hundreds of which were 2010 to current year Nissans.....even high end signature automotive sound system in Japanese premium lines and some Europeans are just cheaply constructed disposable Chinese junk....

What you have discovered is stainless steel nut and bolts heat up and gull. You failed to use anti-seize. I recommend the silver. Nothing wrong with the nut and bolts you received. I suspect you used your impact with no anti seize. Bad combo and guaranteed to gall up and cause the grief you have discovered.

But the belt still needs to be replaced. 🤷🏻‍♂️ I’m still trying it. Lol

My mechanic mentor back in the day said to spray a little silicone on there and I saw it work many times. I tried that first when the belt on my 6.7 Cummins started chirping (belt is not cracked or brittle etc.) The spray worked but didn’t last very long so I hopped on here to see if there were any more hacks. I had a bottle of dielectric grease in my tool box and tried this immediately after watching. Worked perfectly!!! I put it on 4 different spots in the belt because it’s a beast of an engine and a massive belt. Thank you for this tip! I’ll keep doing this until the belt actually shows signs of needing to be replaced.

Updating this comment. In theory, any petroleum grease will gradually break down the rubber. At least, that's what everyone tells us. Tho depends how fast, I guess?! A better option is glycerin, which is a natural rubber restorer (fixed my squeak a few days ago), but I can't speak for long-term just yet.
