3:00 he is not blunt. In fact, he is very nuanced and tries to explain context, audience, understanding arts and appreciation. He defends free speech in the context of being censored. Not unappreciated. So if no one comes to your show your are not being cancelled, you are simply not doing a good enough job. You did not understand the audience. You may have regrets and doubts. But what he argues against is the call to legal persecution. Which there is none. At least outside of America and authoritarian regimes. If you are in a place of public interest, you must also be prepared that people will have a an opinion about you. And you may make jokes about that person. But it is absolutely unnecessary to be cruel to anybody just because he can. What he takes for granted and displays with all he does is class, gracefulness and dignity. These things make it possible to suffer from a joke knowing that that is not a truth someone is expressing (most of the time) but a somewhat loosely correlated hyperbole. There is still common ground and an understanding of respect.

A comedian is the guy who says "yes, life sucks but...." plus punch line. Humor helped my father to deal with his cancer, it helped my family deal with persecutions and it helped me deal with the life in a war zone. If you can't make fun at your misfortune, you can't really become stronger and rise beyond your victimhood. Humor must be free of criticism and those who are offended shouldn't watch it.
