When they spoke about fat shaming, I agreed with pretty much all of it. Obesity isn't a disease, its a CHOICE. When I was 15 years old, I weighted nearly 300 pounds and was made fun of daily. Sure I went through depression but I didn't use food as a comfort, I started being more active and physical. It was a slow process and I lost weight but it still didn't stop the bullying, so I used that as motivation and kept going. Now as a grown man, I'm still a little overweight but I'm much stronger and healthier. I even ran into some of the bullies from back in day and not a single one remembered me as the fat kid. Don't say "I can't help it" because that is horseshit and you know it. Take the first step and push yourself forward! It ain't gonna go away overnight, it's a long road and you're gonna have to take it step by step. But if you're happy then more power to you.
Horseshit is pretty good fertilizer. But I agree that is about how you look at life. I had some young kids in Washington DC tell me "you are fat." My thoughts were "tell me something I do not know." They were in their twenties. I am in my sixties. My approach is to change my environment to a more heathy environment. It is a work in progress.

I always struggle to lose the weight after giving birth and after having my youngest child I struggled more than ever! I was 40 when I had her so my older age makes it more difficult as well. I was 180 pounds after giving birth to her and I was extremely uncomfortable! I felt like shi# I can't imagine being almost 400 pounds and just loud and proud about it! She has to feel horrible every day! She can't even do the simplest of tasks like tying her shoes or bending over to put socks, pants, etc. on. Or washing hard to reach places in the shower! It isn't about body positivity! It's glorifying a death sentence!
It is time to let people be how they want to be and you be how you want to be ... Dont hurt anyone, Physically, mentally or emotionally... Harm none and do what ye will
