How to disassemble a telescoping ladder
I need a video of the mother board
I wanted to express my gratitude for this video. You saved me a lot of money. I appreciate you posting this!
did you fully charge up the whole pack prior to doing any laod test or internal resistance check. or did you dive right into it in whatever condition the pack was at when purchased?
I love this but how did you firstly disconnect the fixed part of the ladder at the bottom?
What did you use for the pin?
I've seen a lot of videos on roof top tents, have camped a lot, carried a lot of stuff on roof racks... Here's what seems to be the consensus. This type of tent for sale are too heavy, way too expensive, too gimmicky, limited (usually you can only enter on one side. So this is progress. What I would suggest is. 1. Inexpensive roof rack. (The rubber cup 2x4 ones are just fine) The most critical part of keeping a roof rack on the vehicle is a line to the back and to the front. Every "I lost my kayak' story includes these straps missing. No roof rack will stay on the roof if something knocks them off. Kayaks are extreme because they are long, but even when I carry plywood - forward to back is the most critical. (Open your hood, there are fender bolts on the sides. Take a piece of 1" webbing, nylon, polypropalene but not just cotton, fold it in half, melt a hole through the two ends, screw the bolt back in. These can stick out of the side of the hood as tie point, or they can be tucked back under. Done this for over ten years) 2. Just find a tent. The only thing 'wrong' with a Target or Walmart tent is, they tend to be heavier than back packing tents and the mesh isn't as tight. (Noseeums get through. If noseums are the problem, give the mesh a very light spray of pyrethrin. Dosn't take much let it dry before you fold it up or sleep inside.) These tents are really inexpensive (The best tents have mesh on the sides that you can see out of, and a good rain fly. What's the point of going to a beautiful spot, crawling into a tent and all you see is the inside of the tent? Then get lightweight plywood (Luan at Home Depot is great) Add some stiffeners. This can just be 1" strips glued and screwed. If you make a grid, don't be afraid to use a bunch of pieces in between the long strips if they fit snug between the long pieces and are glued and screwed they will act like full unbroken strips. In construction these are called 'blocking.' 3. Figure out a way to attach the tent to the plywood. The ladder in the video is perfect because it folds up nicely. I've got one. 4. Have extra paracord and stakes on hand. This way you can anchor the tent to the ground to keep it on your rack 5. After you try it out and it works, then paint or waterproof the plywood. 6. Waterproofing the seams. Get 100% silicone caulk (small tubes about $8) in a cup lined with aluminum foil put in minearl spirits or paint thinner, Naptha I'm told works best. Mix up the caulking with the solvent. Get the brushes in the plumbing dept. 4 for $2 they're called Flux Brushes. Doesn't have to be perfectly mixed. Paint the seams with it. Works absolutely the same as the kits sold at REI. Been doing this for many years. The best tie downs for a tent is nylon grosgrain sewn with long gussets. Some of these in the middle of the rain fly sides make really great tie points for wind. Get some cheap bivy sacks. You can put your sleeping bags in them so any blowing rain or cold is blocked. Hope this helps.
Hi Steve! Where is the link for your template?
Thanks very helpful
Hi i have 2011 Lexus rx 450h code poa7a. p oA78 i change inverter but problem still there now care do not move , please advise me what i have to do. thank you
I'm not an EE, but it seems to me that for the first stages of testing modules, you could do them in blocks of 2, 3, or more with appropriate voltage. You could then read individual voltages to spot a module that's suspicious. Could save a lot of time in getting to the next stage. I would also read resting voltages a day after charge and/or discharge to see how they hold. Thank you for these videos!
Video was ok but why were you hiding al resistance values and what pins you tested ? Seems like that was an important part and you went right passes it like you wanted to hide how to test it ??
❤
I really need your help to fox my detached solar lights to solar panel. The video showed little because either your hand was in the way or you weren't in the frame. What type of glue.
Hi, that part you showed mainly with the springs. That on mine had broke and I can’t seem to find the part. Any idea on where I may find one
Wth are you trying to do?? Lol
Thanks! Is there any chance I could get the manual?
Where did you get the info on ECM pin outs bro ?
But did your Prius battery display still work?
Gave me the courage to fix the broken ladder. Looks like there is a similar piece on the opposite end of the ladder.
I really appreciate this video altho difficult to see exactly how you did it… I’m needing to reduce the size of my ladder to fit better in the back of my campervan. The only question I have is: What do you use to replace the rubber feet? Those seem necessary when raising the ladder on concrete or hardwood floors…
Can you tell me the brand and model of your sewing machine??…..not every machine do that kind of pattern…thank you so much, you saved me here in jamaica we do not have no one to fix our kites and still a lot to learn
how bout the answer we should all be asking..... did it effing work?!?!?? did p0000000000016 go the f*ck away? sick of all these BS videos that never give conclusion.
Thank you for this video, but i wanna ask about internal resistance limits please, thank you
It seems like you are using zig zag and not 3-step zig zag. Otherwise, nice video! The packing tape trick with the clamp was definitely worth it
Hi Steve, My name is Truc, with a 2012 Prius C showing permanent code P0A80. I have watched your videos and am confused somewhat. But I admit yours is the best I have seen so far. The car was running fine (even with the code P0A80) prior to my attempt to recondition the battery modules. When I reconnect the battery pack, all the dashboard lights lit up and the car won't run and I don't know why. Could you please summarize all the important steps to correctly diagnose and recondition the modules to make the car run again? Thank you very much for your prompt reply.
I just actually fixed mine using my wife’s hairdryer, thank you!
Can you please help me nothing doimg is working
Just what I was looking for. Super helpful!!!😎
Would you please be able to provide that excel spreadsheet that you are using to record these?
Also. You talked about leaving a link for your template chart but I don’t see it anywhere. An excel template would be amazing since idk how to use that program.
Fun fact: if you read the Venom ProQuad charger manual, you will see that the default setting for NiMH sensitivity is 7mv, not 5. That being said, is it better if it is set to 5mv? Then you are potentially at a risk of under-charging due to early termination. Maybe set sensitivity to 5mv and charge at 4A instead of 5? Idk… I’m new to all of this.
Nice video. Thank you
Our cat decided to chew ours. Thank you for posting. I’ll give it a try!
Follow every step! 😁👍
Can I get a PDF of that?
Hi do you have the copy?
@@kzk2022 unfortunately not
That tub is crazy dirty
Great video but it would've been nice to see where you finished shortening it, put it back together and tried it out, showing the final results!!
Saved me a buch of time. Tks
Hi Why and where you use resistor? Thanks
Wow bro, incredibly informative video. Thank you for going into great detail to explain everything. Best video on hybrid battery pack rebuild that I have seen.
Inspired by this video, I decided to open my failed control board on my 6 year old Frigidaire oven. Thought it would be a waste of time because I don't know alot about electronics. Looked at the relays first and sure enough there is a dark pin on one of the relays with most of the solder missing on it. Going to order the relay to see if I can fix it. Thanks for the tips on removing solder and installing a new relay.
How is it holding up??
3rd Gen 2013 has the same 20 pin plug, wonder if wires are the same? Leaving that plug disconnected since it didn't fit the new touchscreen, steering wheel has lost the backlight and all function.
Does the AC control resistor have to be 68ohms? can it be 100 ohms?
How do I find the steps before this. On the throttle cable.
Hi Steve can I get the v step by step manualv link?
Dude! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! So mine is a 2011 4Runner with the non premium system… the wire colors were a little different on the factory connector but they were in the exact same orientation and position… worked flawlessly. My vehicle has buttons on the opposing side for phone and voice… gonna make those mofos work now too!
Ghetto. ❤
1:20 you can remove the shaft with the pressed on brass-gear by pulling it with a little bit of force. Makes repairing it a lot easier
This machine is very hard to repair. So many screws, many of them are unnecessary. So hard to open the blade tool box or whatever you call it. Pain in the A**. Also there is some sticky stuff inside. Whyyy sticky, whyy!
