- Hey there! In today's video, I'm bringing you episode 23 of Throwback Thursday. This time, using the Tiny Marvels palette from Sydney Grace in collaboration with the beautiful and very missed, Mel Thompson. She was one of my favorite creators. And having this palette is so special to me. Let me know if you have it and what you think of it!

Your friendly SG correspondent here....as someone else mentioned the sale starts the 29th. They are dropping 4 palettes, one for each of the seasons, they just revealed the first one. It's very nice but warm toned which for me is a no. I think that is why I have never picked up TM because it does lean a little warm in spots. You did a really nice look though. I wouldn't mind trying Blend Bunny and Cosmic Brushes (who knows if I ever will) but most other brands don't interest me at all. I did like a What's Up Beauty palette though but not vegan so that it out. Surprisingly neither of the new Cosmic Brushes palettes though interest me at all...the one is way too warm and the other has lots of blues I wouldn't wear. Saves me money I guess, maybe SG will drop a cooler palette with this sale, they are 9 pans so I like the sound of that. ☺

I can’t thank you enough for turning me onto SG. Truly one of the classiest brands out there. The Mel’s Memory bundle is so good. And obviously, I adore Tiny Marvels. I’ve got to play with my SG liquid shadows soon, too. Such an awesome formula!!!!! Let me know if you end up getting anything from the sale. I’d love to know. I appreciate you so much. @@EricaConger Yeah...that's the one. But several shades may contain carmine and I cannot use that ingredient unfortunately. What's Up Beauty is talc free too which is a nice bonus. Anyway, I will be on the watch for your video.
@@EricaConger Thank you, that is very nice. I enjoy your channel and find you interesting to listen to, plus you are really well spoken. I notice that you make changes regularly which keeps your content fresh, this is a good thing to do otherwise channels can become stale. My tastes have really changed in terms of content that I want to consume, plus makeup style. I am finding that I am no longer a fan of the really heavy makeup so I steer away from channels that focus on that. Just a personal choice. Anyway, happy Friday. 😁

I’m so glad that the “re-vamped song” made your day! I can’t take credit for the instrumentation (I wish I had that technological gifting of programming), but yes, the vocals & lyrics were me. Haha! 😄 I’ll bet you will never hear that song the same again ever! 😂 I don’t own any Sydney Grace, but their shadows always look so elegant & the formula looks beautiful! And the look you created is lovely! 😍✨ There are so many gorgeous palettes that have been released lately that they’re hard to resist. (I agree that the Nomad New Zealand Stargazing palette looks gorgeous.) Fortunately, my budget keeps me in check from wanting to buy everything! 😅 I’ve gotten to where I will save photos of color stories/swatches of palettes that really appeal to me & then closely evaluate what I already own to see if I can dupe or dupe the vibes. That saves me a lot of cash & keeps me from buying the same things that already exist in my collection!💵 Still, I will occasionally spot an inexpensive palette online that might have a more unique color story or a special shade that stands out & I’ll cave & buy it ! What’s extra nice is I’m often pleasantly surprised to discover that many such palettes can have really good formulas, so no complaints when that happens! 😄. I ended a six month no buy in June and the palette I still really wanted was the Lunar Beauty “Moonshroom” palette and then I bought the new Beauty Bay “Botanical” palette.

That Botanical palette is STUNNING!!!!! Steph has it and has used it and just loves it. I love Lunar Beauty!!!!!!! I really want a few of his palettes. I do have Life’s a Drag and it’s a beauty. Woo hooo!!!

I didn't know about Mel prior to her passing (I feel like I'm super behind the times), so I'm sad that I didn't have the same attachment to her that so many others did.
I was so late to finding Mel. I think I was her subscriber for the last year of her life. I was just gutted when she passed. I used to spend so much time binge watching her content. She was just so damn talented and just a human light!! Very missed!🥲❤️
