Hi everyone,
In this week's video after only 3 or so hours sleep we decide to go to Universal Islands of Adventure for early park admission. We start the day with a front row ride on Velocicoaster and wow it really adds to the ride to wait for that front spot! Amazing start to the day!
We were then going to have breakfast at the Three Broomsticks but didn't like where we had been seated so decide to leave and go for our trusted Cinnabon breakfast instead. After some food and a relax we go into Seuss Landing to ride The High in the Sky Seuss Trolley Train Ride! There are great views of the park from here but it seemed the onboard audio was a bit muddled! haha
We then go to Marvel Super Hero Island and ride Dr Doom's Fearfall and Storm Force Accelatron as we had not done these so far this trip and they had short waits. We got a drink in the refill cup and made our way back to the room to catch up on sleep before Horror Nights with express that evening.
We decided to go and do stay and scream so we could do Insidious twice. When we got to #universalstudiosorlando for HHN we got some food first, I had really. wanted to try the Mini Stay-Puft Smore and it didn't disappoint! It looked and tasted amazing but was a little messy to eat! Dane went for the Slimer's Korean Corndog. We loved the sweet and savory choices!
After Insidious we decided to get some more food, after my sweet treat I needed something savory and we went to the Twilight Tavern for In the Fog Fish 'n' Chips and Dane had The Bride's Cake for dessert. Both were brilliant! We then had our first drink this evening before getting into the Ghostbusters queue. We started using our express pass from this moment and it was so worth the money. We were waiting between 5 and 15 minutes for the houses.
We had a quick detour back to Cabana Bay to get our jackets as it had gone really cold again this evening and we had chanced it earlier not bringing them. We really weren't used to needing extra layers. When we got back into the park we did Museum: Deadly Exhibits, Goblins Feast and Universal Monsters Eternal Bloodlines. Goblins was the longest wait so far with express. We did Slaughter Sinema 2 and were loving the movie trailers on the screens beforehand, so fun!
We were then ready for our main meal that night, we were going to go to Mels but the queue was just a little long and we wanted to make the most of our express pass so we went to Minions Cafe. Unfortunately that ended up taking quite a while in the end so we probably would have been better off at Mel's! We then get back to #HHN and go through Monstruos, another great house and a short wait! We decided also to have a night ride on Rip Ride RockIt which was good fun but they gave us the back row again!
We then did A Quiet Place, Insidious and Major Sweets but decided to skip the last house Triplets as we had already done it a couple of times and we were up early the next morning. We left through our favourite scare zone Demon Queens and then went through our final house rankings at the end of the video. We had another fantastic day and we loved our night at Halloween Horror Nights!
