    Pichapao, i have a 3xGA (dex/atkspeed/flurry) gloves that i put concussive strikes aspect , do u think FoF is undoubtedly better or? The pit 88 i menaged to do was using this flurry gloves btw.

      @@renancampos7947 that pair of gloves ain't bad but FoF helps a lot vs bosses as we get to stagger faster, as well as able to utilize Frigid Finesse much better. If you're keeping the gloves, amulet passive preference probably would be WM, and then Malice What Paragon have you reached and what level are your Glyphs? 88 is quite decent, I should say

      Crit Damage does not add anything to the build. Only builds revolving around Precision key passive would have any benefits from stacking Crit Damage. Even then, I think all builds are stacking %Damage per Dark Shroud Shadow to further boost dps.

      @@pichapao5337 why not use both dmg sources ? I made a simillar build today wich uses a bit of all, crit dmg - dmg per shroud - dmg at vulnerables 58% just - poison + a shacko mask/harlekins mask for the 4 Ranks poison & Flurry Ranks same time, a Hakans Necklence for the 7-9 Ranks of poison dmg, and it rocks pretty well. Dash i had to replace by poison. Minefield + 20%crit on vulner. so i dont need so much on my gear, + 36% out of the 3 Ranks on the skill tree = 56% crit chance on traped enemys. Gloves + 1 Ring AS - DoT - Flurry/ Ring + CHC a simple Crossbow + MaxLife,Crit,Dext. Hardening Dmg per Shroud, 96% minefield size(100iscapped). 1 Dagger unique speed/WeaponRanks..dunno its name in English. + 1 simple Sword for the pure dmg MaxLife,Dex,DoT Hard. : DpShroud,minefield duration 45%. Thats it plus the 15%chanceon + 100%Poison Rune instat of Chip. It Works.

      @@Pit-Sirikos the way damage stacking in D4 is a bit complex. They fall on certain multiplicative buckets, and Crit Damage, Vuln Damage, Close Damage, %Damage, all fall into one big bucket. %Damage per Dark Shroud shadow is no exception -- and out of all the sources, it has the biggest number.

      @@pichapao5337 no way, vuln is a mutiplier. same as mainstat to crit dmg. Otherwise it would be impossible to reach M numbers of dmg, Example: 200% vuln + 1000% crit dmg would be just 1200% in your theory. but in real its more like 2 x 10 x mainstat : 100(%). The only dmg wich goes into 1 bucket, is dmg against ...slowed, stunned, poisoned, aso. vuln x crit x mainstat is the formula dmg per shroud is here the number 4 multiplier in the calculation. its like (1 big bucket) X (an other bucket) poison ovr time is an amp depanding on the strength of the initial physical strike(as its written on the tooltip for the poison imprint) like saying : 100k Flurry + 100%poison = 200k strike, + 200%poison = 300k dps x vuln (200% doubles the sum). the 15% chance rune can double the poison per poison stack, the 75% crit skill endpoint adds 75% poison to each stack whenever the initial hit was a crit hit, so its like 200% imprint poison can tick by RND to 400% and per 100 +75% if it was a crit Flurry hit = 175% +175% x2 if RND=true = 700% poison on top of the crit hit Flurry initial stike. poison is additional to the physical dmg. Dmg per shroud is the base multiplier of the whole pack of numbers. You can easy type it into a calculator and will get the same numbers as you get at the training dolls.

      @@Pit-Sirikos Vuln multiplier is capped at 20%x. Rest of Vulnerable damage is added to the additive bucket. Same with Crit Damage (capped at 50%x)

      @@kable84 Second Wind wouldn't work on Inner Sight as there's anti synergy between them. If I just want to be tanky for this particular build, I'd just put in Rubies and stick with Improved Flurry. I've been able to tank T8 Burning Butcher with that setup. Otherwise, you can go Preparation, drop Scoundrel's Leather for Tyrael's Might or regular DS chest of you don't have it, and go Second Wind

      Did some testing with Crown interaction and found that the average damage I was dealing was the same with or without Leyrana being taken.

      @@lovefantasy0719 was planning on making 2 Rogues this season but there isn't really any major changes to grenades. Blizzard has buffed the ring but sadly, it is still very hard to fit into the build without nerfing yourself so just you can wear it.

    What do you think about flurry becoming a lifegain skill now instead of vulnerable in S5? I like the life steal but the teleporting part of it is super annoying.

      @@arbitrage2141 Improved Flurry is actually great for Infernal Hordes. Much more efficient than Advanced Flurry. If you slot in Inner Calm, it can have full stack uptime. Advanced is good for bossing though. For Vulnerable, currently utilizing Mired Sharpshooter. Also using Scoundrel's Leather for an almost one-button lazy build. Planning on releasing a video soon.

    I really hope they give us rogue players something like this to really stand out. I started the season as Heartseeker but when realized the damage was a bug moved to Andariel's because I don't wanna get used to it and I've been having the most fun despite having to grind a lot to get Andariel's. Looking forward to play something like this in S5.

      Yeah -- a lot of the stuff in the PTR would probably be tuned down one way or another Flurry Dash was quite fun too and would probably switch back and forth depending on the content.

      Not quite. Few reasons.. 1. For this build (or any build for that matter), we don't actively look for the marked targets. They just happen. 2. It drops off the moment Inner Sight is active. 3. We have so many ways to cap or at least reach near the cap without wasting an aspect for it.

    Yoo the patch notes for season 5 have some crazy grenade stuff, smoke bomb and caltrops got increased damage and supposedly gains the “stun grenade bonuses” so fingers crossed the damage bonuses is what it means but smoke grenades doing damage now and scale up with levels and throws stun grenades/hopefully receives the damage buffs could cook

    Yesss Nice !!!! Is it possible that Opportunists grenades Stuns only and they dont daze ?.. .. I dont feel any improvement with Concussive Strikes, it feels more like a lucky hit to daze temper. Personally I prefer Uncanny treachery. You surely have intensively tested that. Why Concealment cooldown when you dont have it on the skill bar ? I just cleared pit 80 last night, this is so fun. Thanks for the weapon mastery and Versatility findings, that's really usefull hints there, really appreciated.

      Yeah -- I think Uncanny Treachery can be interchangeable with Concussive Strikes. I might play it again once Surprise gets the buff as it was stated. Will see. I tried going with Uncanny Treachery (on pants) and Concussive (on gloves) but I really like reaching the AS breakpoint with Rapid. For the Concealment Cooldown, I used to use it a lot before the latest patch. I have yet to find another GA CDR helm and for now, that's more valuable than the temper for me. I'm still not sure too if I want +Dodge, +Agile, or +Mending Obscurity

    Well done Mate. Nice clear and very high too for Grenade rogue. Cleard 129 Today with xbow but still Need some more ATK Speed for my xbow pushing but worked fine in 129. Had 4-5 mins left in the clock. With bow i cleared 127 or so i think without any real pushing both. But i have to say that its heartseeker. Anyways very glad to Take down 129 even with Heartseeker. With some more ATK Speed MW Hits im very confident to clear around 135 too but i will need to Farm Gear cause that much ATK Speed is Not needed for my bow Variant. Have enough there and dont want to Ruin my Gear. Will start uploading some clears too. Maybe you have a Chance to See them when they are Out :) Thanks for the clear!

      @@hunterpb1535 it doesn't either. Reason being, Weapon Mastery buffs your damage based on which weapon you use to cast said skills. A bulk of the build's damage comes from Grenades. Grenades proc from certain actions the player does (i.e, evade, spend energy, from Caltrops, etc), and those do not directly come from any of the weapons used by the player.

    One question I need to ask - is there a reason you prefer to use damage to crowd controlled enemies instead of grenade damage or close enemies damage? There's quite a difference (max damage to crowd controlled enemies on a 925 weapon is 65% and to close enemies it's 85%, and the grenade is up to 105%), and most likely I'm missing something.

      Damage to CC scales with Close Quarters Combat. Can consider Stun Grenade Damage but I've yet to figure out what the perfect balance is between that and Damage to CC. Damage to Close is probably the weakest of the 3.

    Hello brother! Very nice work! I've been following you since AOZ in Season 2. Currently I'm over HS build, and haven't seen many top players comment anything about the patch impact on Heart Seeker build, you havey any thoughts? Also, what you mean by devious and fluidity's bonus be the same? I mean, devious increases 2x-10x damage and fluidity gives energy regenaration, I wen't a bit confused about that, or you meant both glyphs gives +150% to rare nodes within range?       Thanks for the support! Regarding Heatseeker, I have not used the build to really give an opinionated feedback. I think I've always been an off-meta enjoyer. With regards to Devious and Fluidity, both of them are capable of doing an extra 10%[x] -- only difference is, Devious is applied via a debuff to mobs, and Fluidity is activated via Agility skills. The 150% bonus cancel each other out. Now their only difference is that Devious will never work on bosses, while Fluidity is tied to cooldown management only. Also, we're talking about Fluidity's update after mid-season patch, and not its current effect. Hope that is clear.

      The ring doesn't have the same multiplier as the aspects. It cannot compete with Elements and the additional temper. It is still getting a slight buff so I will still test it to be sure.

      12/12 now. If you are tight on mats, I'd recommend going for 12/12 on the melee weapons first. 10/12 on chest and amulet (if you have +ranks), and rest can be 8/12. Your English is fine

      @@nulee661 main purpose is to activate Opportunists via Lethal Dusk. It is where most, if not all, damage is coming from. But with the updates on Surprise, it will definitely be about another 20% increase (estimated)

      Doombringer often brought on the table when the build needs more survival. This build needs more damage than survival, for sure. I'm willing to test Andariel's but I don't see it working well with the build. Their scaling is pretty different even though they share a good amount of global multipliers. But it's a good idea to test nonetheless. Will see once the update drops, maybe I'm missing something as well. Dark Shroud is too precious to lose for Scoundrels Leather. Maybe for lower contents. Also Scoundrels Leather aspect got an internal cooldown that we cannot get around.

      @@pichapao5337 I was thinking with doom bringer we could use the temper spots for shadow imbuement for damage since shadow will proc from doombringer unfortunately I don't have one to test with. As for andariel could be damage and defense depending on skill points we could move to the poison passives

      @@newbornhollow you mean dropping the Shadow Imbue charges? As I understand it, you need shadow imbuement to apply the infection, and you need the infection status to trigger Lethal Dusk. Doombringer only procs shadow damage. I could test it but the only Doombringer drop I got was converted to shard to make Andariel's. Andariel's, I can test since I already have it.

      Based on my early calculation, Opportunists will still have a little more damage. But it will be close. If calculation is correct, it will be 6015 for a maxroll. With the updates to Shadow Step and inclusion of Uncanny Treachery though, Opportunists will be activated more often. Could make a case vs bosses and it's probably worth a try!

Victimize isn't viable for the sole reason that grenades have a pretty bad LHC. Exposure can be used, I don't think Deathtrap can fit in the rotation, maybe if you drop Flurry and rely on the agility skills for CQC shadow imbue spreading. But I honestly can't see how it can compete with CQC. I'll still try it though with the updates.

    NOYCE! Got a few questions for you if you don't mind! I've wanted to make a grenadier since S2, and seeing all those buffs I knew it was time to answer the calling! (Did a heartseeker S3 when it wasn't busted to hell and back yet, and look at it now, shit's godtier!) I've been tweaking and tinkering with it non-stop, had an abomination of a rotation at first and managed to streamline it A LOT (if a good piano build plays like Mozart, this one was downright satanic breakcore on my keyboard). But I'm still wondering about many things! For example, would you say it's bad to keep Encircling Blades aspect so you can extend Puncture's vulnerable to entire packs and keep it up? Or, as an alternative: getting two "LH chance to make enemies vuln" affixes on gear (to reach up to ~100% chce on a LH), which would allow to drop puncture for heartseeker (Enhanced + Fundamental for +16% atk spd and +15% crit dmg on hit enemies). This would seem rather good for bosses? I'm not sure about specializations either, Combo with Flurry grants that sweet +45% atk spd, which is enough to cap type 1 atk bonus when paired with Enhanced HS, CQC cutthroat and 1 or 2 affixes. Inner Sight seems good too, and the 25% crit chance means 1 or 2 affixes freed, but the uptime doesn't seem as consistent. What's you take on this? Also, is it impactful to try and max type 2 atk spd bonus, or are the diminishing returns starting to show quickly? And last but not least, I was rocking Victimize up until now, which is great to clear packs and such, and even do some decent damage to elites in lower pit tiers. However grenades don't have LHC (unless using Saboteur's Signet, but 2% maaaan cmon, not mentioning losing two tempering affixes :/), overall that's a lot of potential procs lost, whereas CQC bonus dmg is always up, on everything! What do you think, can nothing beat CQC on a grenadier or is Victimize viable with a specific set-up? I might have some more questions in the future, YOU CANNOT STOP THE FLOOOOOOOOD!!! (Actually you can, just tell me when I'm asking too many :D)

      1. While Encircling Blades have good AoE, I've never had a hard time spreading vulnerable due to Blended Shadow Imbuement. Also, the build is already aspect-hungry, and Encircling Blades doesn't boost the grenades. I've learned that dropping that in place of another offensive aspect made the dungeon runs a lot better. The idea for Heartseeker in-place of Puncture, while interesting, is something I've only tried for a bit. It felt clunky use HS, and then Flurry. Might be better to go with Barrage, and try to keep CQC uptime with Dash or Shadow Step.

      2. I find the IS impactful enough that whenever I go Combo Points for the attack speed, the dungeon always felt slower than it has to be. But maybe it is also placebo since I really want to skip Combo Points this season lol (although technically, play-style is still the same)

      3. We've recently discorvered that there's attack speed break-points and there are indeed some wasted attack speed allocation when you've already hit certain break-points.

      4. I have tried a Victimize set-up on PTR, as well as early season. And changing to CQC, it already boosted me about 15 pit tiers with the same gear. I also did thorough testing on grenade LHC, and man, they are beyond abyssmal. And I agree, Sabotuer Signet is not worth losing tempers and a damage multiplier. An alternate set-up with stacking Stun Grenade Damage and go with Exposure can be considered, but you probably need to invest on dropping Concealment Cooldown to as low as possible. Or stacking Stun Grenade Damage, and still go CQC. This way, you can do a much more consistent damage when the boss isn't staggered, but little less damage when they are staggered compared to going full Damage to CC.
