This game runs like absolute dirt on 4K on my 4090 and 7800X3D. Max settings like 60-80fps, even changing much to medium and high only gains like 10fps and my CPU hits 90 degree here and also powered off my PC once while you constantly fall through the floor in online servers. It's such a piece of garbage game.

Perimeter size? Is it possible to do 39x39 for the outside perimeter and have a 11x11 interior base ? I wasn’t sure if the zeds would still continue to go the loop with it being so large…

To everyone who likes to play 7 days to grind in a speed run fashion... Building a base out of a POI is a horrible idea. One day your ganna be in the zone, slaying quest like crazy. Your ganna take a quest without reading where it is like most 7 days to Grind players. Your ganna run to that POI and start up the mission. Then realize you just deleted everything you built or stored. This happened to me atleast 3xs. I never build this out of a POI. Its not worth it XD just takes a few extra blocks without a POI. Those few blocks could save you literally everything you have

This update ruined this game. Cant stand to play 7 days to die. Cannot accomplish anything fast. There are no weapons in the entire 7 days to die world to find. Quest are limited. Currency was nerfed. Reward quest was nerfed. Daring adventure is trash. Pipe weapons are still TRASH. Limited on everything even worst than before update 1.0. The ENTIRE GAME is built arounds the shops. Which everything was nerfed. Cant buy Tools untill you able to make them which is the most pointless gaming design for any form of options. I say that because i unlocked up to T3 missions and not any of the stores had any kind of tools that i could make at the time. Even with max daring adventure. Your not ganna find anything worth AF at any store since the update. The UnFunPimps took a "Go here, Do this, Come back" game and made it take even longer. Try to look at the positives but im sick off having to defend myself with a fking pipe weapon. Suspose to be an entire apocalyptic world! Where are the fking guns?? My advice is to play any other game in existence. 7 days to grind isnt worth the time.

These aren't tips, are small QoL are just small QoL changes in 1.0. A tip is something you suggest poeple to do because you think it's a good idea

You should add and try some mission like Restock Power (day + night) but when you touching the generator, so the zb horde will be spawning nearby, that would be fun!

how about a drop down bridge with spacious blocks making up a continuous horizontal support, so none can dig you from below. oh you did use that ok. even visible vertical plates horizontal stack should work just fine, as a no-pathing bridge. zombie peggle game machine? spikes stacks at the bottom. make an arc bridge form.

I love the idea of new quest types. Not sure the risk vs reward would make it worth selecting the quest though. I might do it once for the hell of it but like the "buried supplies" quest after T2, the risk & time vs reward are questionable. I could be wrong though.

Thanks for the video! I have played hunderds of hours of 7DTD, but always on playstation, and due to legal struggles with the fun pimps and the publisher, the version i played was always a early alpha version with no possibilities for updates. So since a few days we finaly have a ps5 version 1.0 of 7 days to die , so i am playing the hell out of it and lovin it. Helpful tips and had to laugh very hard at your joke about shooting lessons from you. ps. I have gathered lots of armor parts but don't know how to use them , i am going to search it online but that one thing i missed ;-)

Hi. Thanks for the video. Returning player from early alpha, so the information on the mechanics and how/why it works is awesome. You did a really excellent job of explaining specifics and the editing was top tier. As an aside: I’m trying to steer clear of a floating anything on invisible supports, but my save is not far enough along where I’ve been forced into needing something like this.

Is there a number cap on zombies that can spawn during horde night?

Any blocks besides the v2 double double work? I only seem to have v1 catwalks...

Any quest that changes time or forces global changes on the server will definitely never work, for all of the reasons you raised. You would have to somehow make it so there's a simulated horde night only targeting you at the current POI's boundaries without actually causing horde night (similar to the previous horde challenge mod you were working on), and then make it so players can trigger the actual horde attack at their leisure by picking up a satchel, or some other possible trigger point. Perhaps you could have it so starting the quest immediately gives players a usable 'ticket' item that then triggers the horde when they actually read/activate it? Logically most players would want to finish quests as quickly as possible, so they would end up throwing together the minimum most-efficient defense themselves, even if you don't force a timer directly onto them.

Just because it doesn't work in MP isn't a reason not to make it. More SP players than MP.

On your timer issues, you could add a buff on start of blood Moon to the player that has the purpose of adding another buff when daylight comes. That buff can gameevent reward the survived horde night token.

Man I wish I would’ve watched this video at the beginning of my play session and not the end. #5 would’ve been particularly useful and probably would saved me a couple of deaths due to dehydration/starving/dysentery fatigue.

Maybe have it be a screamer hoards rather than the "normal" hoard. And mess with the number of screamers that start once you start the quest where the poi is? Also would be interested to see if a fetch, quest on an interested poi, but you are not allowed to kill any of the zombies, call it last wishes or something.
