I really wanted to give this a few more days to clean it up before sharing but I'm too eager to tackle some of the other tracks on the album now. So here it is.

I posted the intro the other day but have included all 4 presets you'll need to tackle the entire track if you're crazy enough.
The pickup on this guitar is a Seymour Duncan distortion and I have always found it the best out of all my axes for getting close to Nuno.

Also a little help from a Mesa Boogie 5 band eq pedal working in conjunction with the Dynamic voice. The pickups on this guitar are Dimarzio air classics. Even though they don't have the same output as jp's they are freaking awesome. I'll be doing a more in depth video on how the rig is set up and how I record. Stay tuned!

A few firsts this week. New(old) guitar day too. First Steel Panther cover Ten strikes and you're out (solo only) Satchel is a pretty clever player I must say. Lots of fun to play. believe it or not, this song was my first introduction to ax7 early last year. i recorded this over 6 months ago but i procrastinated posting it. absolutely amazing song. genius level guitar playing, layering, texturing, tone, harmonies, solo. i used a combination of alot of amp models during the multi track recreation so there really isnt any point shaing one specific tone. enjoy.

Thanks for the video. I’m wondering about your comment that the 14” fretboard radius is a good in-between for both shredding and chord work. I thought 14” was considered pretty much all the way at the flat end of the spectrum?
No, not considering keisel do 20"and the majority of ibanez necks are 17". A 12 to 16" compound radius neck is the best all round

Awesome sound. i still cannot get that high tone, it starts on 6th second of this video. i have followed your tutorial 'evh tone build' until you jumped to your mixer, i dont have one. If the mixer is must have to sound like this, well i have to get one. Again, great sound, great playing.
Cheers, the seymour duncan distortion pickup on this guitar is also a big part of it. Fairly high output with great harmonics

@maciejl5964 ah you are talking about the tapped harmonics. They are a tricky one. Its really important to practice hitting the tap above the fret wire with speed and intensity. Too hard and it will become a normal tap, too soft and slowly and the harmonics will barely be audible. It could also be one of 2 other possible problems, the pickup height or the string height. Action that is too low will make it hard to hit the harmonics without choking the string. As for the pickup height, they need to be fairly close to the strings, between 1.5 and 2mm. Too close and they'll be too bass heavy and the magnets could choke your sustain, too far and they wont have enough gain and sustain. I suggest keep working at it. Maybe even try someone else's guitar

Got a Spark Cab , noise is there its not really that big of a deal . My modeler sounds great played though it. Don’t regret getting it.
