Cab you please sharpen them all and make the bevels a little shallower say 25 - 28 degrees
Gotta say the sysco Bowie is an easy handle replacement and guard braised in or welded what you you do to fix thr sysco? I really like it and carbon steel takes a awesome edge
I have a Cold Steed Chaos double edged.
Allllllrighttt❤
Can I have Cold Steed's email address? Thanks...
I got the San Mai 3 version. Back when I ordered it, it was the best, most high-end version you could get, so I went with that, but after ordering it, I read an article about how great SK5 steel is (Or was the cheaper version made of AUS 8 back then? Don't remember.) and it gave me buyer's remorse, because I started feeling that one solid chunk of that supposedly very good semi-carbon, semi-stainless steel with the black coating would probably be better after all, than the much more expensive laminated San Mai version I had ordered. I even wrote a email to the shop owner, asking whether I could change my order, but he ignored it and I had to live with my choice. I wonder whether the San Mai version would bounce like that too. Not going to try it.
That Mtech Raptor is a Grail knife to some people too since it's extremely hard to find
When I see a knife review, I genuinely want them put through hell. It shows what they hold up against and what quality to expect. Good work, nice review
I thought you took it easy with them. No log split batoning??? I have a mossy and I ended up warping the blade but it still stoop up pretty damn good!
Imagine paying all that money for that shit. Honshu needs to get their shit together. This is a joke.
The grind shows, all day.
Greetings Sir From East Coast Canada & I Love Your Property Fence !! My Neighbor Is The King Of Assholes & I Wish I Had A Fence Like That !! Good Fences Make Good Neighbors.
Physics... tip hits or angle blade hits...
Stainless is trash steel for swords. The high chromium levels make it brittle. Swords have to flex, stainless cracks under pressure. I'm not surprised
I have an OKC SP6 Fighting Knife and an OKC SP10 Marine Raider Bowie. I also have an inexpensive MTech Xtreme tracker knife. I keep the MTech in the back of my truck. It's actually a decent knife for the price. The MTech USA knives aren't as good as MTech Xtreme knives. All that said, if I had to choose one knife for survival, it would obviously be the Ontario SP10 Marine Raider Bowie. That knife is built like a tank.
Mossy Oak won
I have the Kershaw and love it! Never held a knife that felt sooooo good!
Still one of my favorites.
The blade can be damaged but the handle and guard never will
...damn, after I saw your video I had to buy both of them! 😂
Greetings from Italy! 🇮🇹
@@limatango373 Greetings my friend. Thanks for the kind words and checking out the video.
Cool Dude! Jealous Of Your 80° Weather, A Lot Colder Here In Nazi Washington State!
damn, I've been loving the design but i guess someone with small hand decided the tang was too big..
mora has great knives
Thank you for taking the Time to test these Knife’s , I will be buying the Mossy Oak .
I'm glad you weren't injured. My understanding is that stainless steel isn't a material for non-wallhangers. Practical, battle-ready swords aren't made of stainless. So they should be assumed that they will fail catastrophically. But it's too bad, because this particular sword has an aesthetically beautiful design. Thanks for making this video.
Half a decade ago it was batoning everyone wanted a knife to do.... Now it's throwing... My dear lord... You aren't supposed to throw your knife in a fight, ever... So the only reason to do this is for fun...
I agree. Only for fun. I have a blast throwing my blades. Thanks for the comment.
@@fit4knives882 does look like fun 😁
All Three Blades Did Real Good In My Opinion , & Yes I’ll Probably Buy All 3 ✌🏻🤠 , Thank You
Well done true tough testing that most knives will never experience.
The tanto is not designed to be thrown! Pretty obvious! If you want to throw a knife then buy some throwing knives! 🤦🏻👎
I throw just about every knife I own. Including my throwing knives, throwing axes, spikes, shurikens, spears, ect. Just a thing i enjoy doing. Thanks for the comment.
I find this video after buying a budget bowie knife and Im satosfied with going for the Mossy Oak for 20 dollars. I had a feeling that was the most durable
I have 2 of them. One is the stainless steel and the other is the D2 Tool steel one. It makes sense that the stainless would break using it to chop wood because it isn't meant for that. It's a sword. It's a weapon meant for cutting flesh and bone. Machetes are meant for chopping wood.
Like 5cr13 cheap?
994 Verla Oval
525 Andreane Curve
Hey man! Hope you are all right.
Not a throwing knife. My recon tanto in carbon 5 is over 30 years old and never had a problem with it.it probably took the abuse from from you throwingi it..very tough knife.
Damn near the same wood I rolled my katana on I wouldnt take it personal
Damn nice throwing with such big blades.
One awesome review 😅, shout out to Texans, we love the big blades😂👍👍👍
They SELL **3** different SPARTAN SWORDS DIFFERENT METALS. 1ST - IS 7C3 STEEL. -- $70 BUCKS 2ND IS D2 - and cost $179 3rd is DOMAS.- and cost ***$279*** You ordered the CHEAPEST one they sell Why not Test the STRONGEST SPARTAN 1 - fir $279. That wont break at all Also THIS LINE AND BOX - says - For SELF DEFENSE ONLY-- ** DO NOT CHOP WOOD** With the stainless 7C3 version
I gave 2 Schrade Leroys a chance but to my disappointment both of them were not heat treated right I won't buy another one
I actually put my own convex edge on mine. Works a treat!
I'm sure its plenty adequate for the dangerous combat conditions of his suburban backyard!
It's got character.
Can you do a review on the Half Breed LBK-01?
That knife is not meant to be thrown; Cutting towards your face is not recommended, cutting downwards works a lot better and safer. This is definitely a Tactical/Combat Weapon and should be treated as such.
The review would suck if he practiced safety 😂
I would've throw each knife on it's own. Remove knife and throw the 2nd etc. I believe the handle damage was caused by the knives hitting each other on the board. All in all a great test. I was pleasantly surprised how the inexpensive knives took the punishment !
Great review 👍
Hello brother
Awesome video, Love all 3 of them oh yeah 👊😁
Hey John, that Raptor is the poor mans Felon!!! GREAT video...
