It restores my faith in humanity seeing so many people in the US raving about the Mora. It really is the best bang for your buck. Its worth watching some of the Mora channel production videos, showing how they constantly refine the design to make the best knife for the least money. My only advice with the Mora is be careful with the non-standard models. They make a few that are frankly not as good value due to the low production run. That said the Garburg is a pro Mora premium knife. Thanks for the video and thanks for catering to the budget prepper!
Morakniv knives are even in my kitchen. I use them all the time. I chose this particular model just for it's low cost for this set up. On this channel I will primarily focus on people on a budget. Not all of us can afford $200 knives. Thank you for the input.
This is an outstanding video. I have a vast amount of knives and machetes, range from $10 to $300 and the Camp 10 is one of the best. Call me a budget man, I don’t care I really enjoy myself, love the video 😁
I have yet to see a Mora knife which was not an excellent blade and respect sent for not sharpening the spine on yours for a ferro rod striker ... which frankly pisses me off seeing people doing this and recommending it . Thanks for another great review John and hope your New Year 2022 is perfect .
Thank you. I try to use the knives in their stock form. I wanna do honest reviews for ya'll and one way to do that is not to alter the blades. Have a wonderful New Year as well my friend.
Great review there young man , the years I have and still do have about 11 mora knives I have never owned a Gerber another thing almost all of my large knives are piggy backed just hard to go wrong with that set up, even thought I always have a hatchet in the pack or camp site . Happy Trails
Can't go wrong with a Mora. I love creating piggy back systems. I have a few and I always seem to use them more than just single blade set ups. Thank you for sharing.
I have that Mora and others due to the price point and quality. I looked up the Kershaw Camp 10. There seems to be several variations. Links for the knives you test and review might be a good plan for you. Thanks!
Thanks Mike. I use to put links but due to ever changing prices I stopped. Some folks would call me out when the price became higher when they went to buy. If you need links I will be glad to help you out my friend.
@@fit4knives882 No need to post links as I can find them. That said, I do look up what you review for my personal knowledge and curiosity. I am new to your channel and enjoy your reviews. I hope you do well!
@@coopdeville999 I bought the CS Scalper when they first came out and now many knife outlets are sold out of the scalper . A great knife for processing large game , but I wish they would use AUS-8A . The large CS kitchen knife is still the bomb for cooking .
You really need to try BPS knives. They blow mora away. The camp 10 is ok but I'm more a ontario fan. Sp5 or the best sp53. I bet if you tried BPS you'd never buy a mora again.
I have the HK5 and will be reviewing it next week and I can't wait. I also have another video coming testing the Ontario Gen 2 SP53 against the Kershaw Camp 10. It will be a fun and brutal comparison. Stay tuned and thanks for sharing.

I have both of those knives and you're right, they're both great value for the money and will serve most people well.
Excellent set up! Great video...

Fantastic review, thanks so much for your thoroughness. Appreciate you!
I have a Mora Black carbon steel and will be looking at these two very soon.
My pleasure. Thanks for the comment and kind words.
Brilliant set-up and a really well done video...thanks!
Endlich mal ein Mensch der Ahnung von Messer hat. 👍👍👍
My son bought me a Camp 10 for Christmas after noticing my admiration for his. I'm gonna try your set up with my Cold Steel Finn Hawk.
I think that is gonna be a fine combo. Let me know how you like it.
Maybe not the best, but definitely hard to beat! For the record I hammer my customs as hard as my budgets!

mora has great knives
Mora Basic + Schrade Schf37n
or
Mora Basic + Cold Steel American G.I. Tanto
Why not the Camp 14?
What is your favorite blade for BBQ pitmaster duty?
Mercer is my go to slicer at home, but if I'm camping I use what I bring. And I always bring a Mora knife.
@@fit4knives882 Maybe someday you can show your Mercer . Not familiar with the name .
I recently picked up a Cold Steel Slock Master Scalper for about $36. Seems to be a good pick for heavy duty food prep.
