Ive just bought a watch named diray got it in Turkey last week and its identical to this model and it fits great im thinking of buying this model i hope it fits as good as my look alike.

Wow. In the original packaging too. This is one hell of a good find.

I expect that it probably has a Miyota movement. Rotary has always offered a decent honest product for what they are. For someone who just wants an attractive looking timepiece that they can wear everyday without fear of breaking or losing the thing, who could really ask for more?

Nice review. Before dive computers, I would have definitely wanted this one! Now that we all dive with computers, dive watches have become just a backup device. (For me, anyway).

Have you tested the functions alarm and timer? You can't hear the sound unless you hold the watch close to your ear. I've sent the watch back!

Please help! How to activate the energy-saving mode in the watch? Whenever I check my watch in the dark around dawn when I wake up, it continues to run the same as in daylight and the power saving mode does not activate. And I couldn't find any option in the clock menu where you could set the energy saving mode.

Not a brand I’ve come across before, the only comparison I can think of is the Squale, also a heritage Italian brand housing the Selita ( I was lucky to get one of the TGV ones), that doesn’t have pushers on the clasp either but does have a divers extension. At twice the price of the Squale , not sure where the extra grand went. I like a chunky crown but the single sided crown guard looks odd. Great review sir…

Took a look at their catalogue, very vintage inspired watches, not bad designs, but all big in size and price. Guess selling "heritage" works for the Italians (i won't bite though! LOL) Cheers mate. Hope all is really good in your part of the world!

Have looked on the website & they all are very sexy looking watches. Unfortunately on the large side & I think a slight quality control issue for the not so cheap price tag! Lume works well but for me the overall design is a little questionable from a perspective purchasing point of view 🤔

It's a cool eatch for certain but I would consider the citizen pmd56-2951 as well. I think it's better. Big day and date, perpetual calendar, better extended clasp. I see them second hand for as low as $200 Usd. Citizen is the king of quartz field watches, lots of options, all solid beaters.

When you go to a watch expo and see 60% of people have omega, Rolex, breitlings, etc…these are nice breath of fresh air to talk about. I actually fell in love with the krazy hands

Black buckle looks way better with it, that's why they did it.

Would be nice if they do it in titanium. Also, the rubber strap kind of remind me of the older Breitling rubber straps.

Interesting watch, found it unique that the crown at 12:00, which I assume helps protect it. With you, wish all watch makers would use the brightest & longest lume on their watches. Might be a cost issue.

A lovely looking quartz tool watch 👍🏻 super legible at all angles, wears well on wrist for the dimensions. A pretty much perfect beater for land & sea. Only downside for me is the lume 🤔

Colour palette is SO (wannabe) Fortis! Aka... German - light - kitsch. Case size and colour is SO (wannabe) toolish. Aka... fantom/steath/militaire. Price is SO (wannabe) aligned with size, it hurts.... Could get 3 or 4x from Ali, 2x Phoibos Eagle Ray with better lume, or a lot with same movement, but cheaper. SO, either - really - like it and get it, or easily pass it. To each, his own. Cheers mate. Hope all is good on your part of the world. Here things go wild, in many aspects (but i manage... so far! LOL)

Damn butterfly. Top of my list anyway. I don't mind the price; you get watch from solid brand and bit of history, in addition to (presumably) excellent watch.

I see you also have a UV5R. I haven't touched mine since a certain Israeli incident haha! Now this Laco looks badass! This looks like it should be on the wrist of a tier one operator. I think the shape is interesting and should be quite comfortable. I like the strap but the lume can do with improvement as mentioned. Pretty is subjective. The only time I prefer form over function is when it comes to women haha! Thanks for sharing!

I got one from Amazon US to India and it functions perfectly. I’ve got a 107 (sold in India) too..

Got to say the 007 is stunning! Some people maybe thinking that the 008 being a limited edition of 5K isn't really limited, and they would ordinarily be correct if we are looking at the likes of a Swiss brand with sale volumes in the tens of thousands per annum, whereas Citizen sell over 200M individual watches each year.

The hands look like the hands on my G-Shock Mudmaster, it's a couple of generations older

Great presentation, I like the design of this watch. I wad looking for the green one with the cordura band, but it's not available. I think it is overpriced, maybe next year will be a little cheaper. But in the meantime I bought the GWG-B1000-3AER green mudmaster, it was on sale for 520 euros, and I can say it's a very nice watch, all the functions you need, multiband 6, bluetooth, ABC sensors, sunrise /sunset data, dual backlight, compared to the citizen promaster land. The only nice thing is the MIP display, and of course the design.

Great video. Jody from JOMW included a torture test,by someone else, on the ironman v casio g shock 5600. Well worth a look.
