Thanks!
that was great please keep on👍
Thank you!
Fine, fine, ballad and played so well. Kept watching the shy one with the deep sound in the back. Smooth as silk.
Thanks for that!
This was just terrific folks, all of it! Thanks for posting this!
Thanks, Tim!
👏👏👏👏👏
Thanks!
Thank you. Your voice and playing are a nice way to start the day. I used to get a little overwhelmed by arpeggios as a beginner. Now, as an immediate player it’s a fun map. Gamechanger. Helps one feel instead of think.
Thanks! And what a great analogy-arpeggios are a fun map. Exactly! It's a great way to feel, trust, and move with the music instead of overthink it 😃
that's a good one Anne, thanks. Definitely adds a more interesting sound.
You're welcome! Thanks for watching!
👏👏👏
Thank you!
Much appreciated, Ms. Luna. Practicing bass intonation doesn't have to be a drone out affair 😊. P.S: Looking good, Ms. Luna.
🤣 Thanks so much!
Thanks so much for the help. A number of years ago I bought a sort of Frankenstein fretless bass with what looks like an upright bass neck with a large archtop guitar body. Previously, I played on a fretted shortscale bass (a Hofner bass to be exact) but always wanted to go to fretless. I'm doing that now but I've been playing jazz bass for about 57 years and am having a great deal of trouble finding a bass teacher with more experience than I have. You have graciously filled that spot and I thank you for that. BTW, my bass idol has always been Ray Brown.
Sounds like a wild instrument! Doesn't it feel good to be able to day you've been playing for that long? I was very excited when I could say I'd been playing bass for half my life 😁 Ray Brown is amazing!
👏👏👏💪

Thanks for watching!
Great tips, Anne. Thank you!
You're welcome, Bob! Thanks for watching!
I use an app called TE Tuner. It has a lot of nice drone sounds.
Cool! I'll check it out.
I use Frech Bow awesome for intonation . I use the Upton Bass Rosin or Pop's . Awesome 👌 👏 👍 video .
Nice! I go back and forth between the French and German bows. Glad you found this useful!
👏👏👏
Great performance, Anne. You definitely put a spell on me! 😳
Aw, thanks, Bob!
Love where this was recorded. <3
Thanks! It is quite a lovely spot.
Love this one!
Glad to hear it!
👏👏👏👏👏
Thank you, thank you...
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤thanks !!
You're welcome!
Really great, Anne. (Love the augmented chord, by the way.) When were you over in Maui?
Thanks! Gotta love a good augmented chord 😁 I was in Maui March 14-22 as part of my birthday celebration 😃
These are all super helpful...thanks for doing these videos!
So glad to hear you're finding these helpful!
Really liked this, Anne. Great tune, even better visual bass bite. You rock!
Thanks! Keep rocking! 🎶
Amazing
Thank you!
this was one of the first I was shown. I still like it.
Nice! It's definitely effective!
Interesting: I wasn't thinking "hip", when Mr. Yamini was showing what muscle was connected to the shoulder. But, I'm a slow learner. Good lesson again, tho, Ms. Luna. 👍
Definitely a different way of thinking of connections!
👏👏👏👏👏
Thanks
You're welcome!
I enjoyed this video a lot, for a slight different reason. I live in a dry forest in Costa Rica, and if weather permits, I practice with my bass in the forest. I even have a similar metronome, and I even have a similar wooden chair that I use to take the tuner and the metronome. I do enjoy the bites as well, so as soon as the sun goes down a bit, I'll go out to the forest and play out this lesson. Thanks a lot.
I love that! I can imagine you filling the forest with music 😊🎶 That's very cool that you have a similar metronome and chair! Thanks for tuning in and taking the time to comment! Happy practicing!
Thank you .
You're welcome!
👏👏👏
Thank you thank you , that helps a lot .
You're welcome!
The Boxtops gone bluegrass?? All Stars fer sure!
Paul Sharpe taught you to play AND sing?? Great job!
Thank you! Paul Sharpe helped me with classical bass lessons. He taught me how to practice, how to use the French bow, how to play with more confidence... But singing and playing simultaneously was something I learned by doing ;)
Not an easy feat to play the big fiddle AND sing, great job!!
Thank you! I'm still practicing that skill!
Sounding wonderful! 🙏🙏🦋
Thank you!
Lovely duet😊
Thank you!
Thank you
You're welcome!
Love the deer walking through the background.
I had Samson release them at the proper time 😉
Your bass soloing method was helpful. Wondering if it isn't a bit like improvisation? But, aren't all musical solos? I noticed your desert audience! Terms of En"deer"ment for sure.😊
Thanks! You got it--you could just as easily label this improvisation. They are en"deer"ing for sure!
Awesome scenery and outfit
Thank you!
