Pirastro Obligatos are my go-to since I do a little bit of arco as well. I like how they feel, their tone, and versatility as a hybrid string. I used Thomastik Spirocores for years and thought they did well for straight ahead bluegrass/folk.
@@anneluna6612 The Obligato roll doesn't bother you? Next time you have to change strings, consider trying Evah Pirazzi weichs, also by Pirastro. You do sound great on the Obligatos though!
