I appreciate the suggestion! I’m also very glad this video has given you inspiration. However I did end up picking up a cheap full rgb membrane keyboard for the sake of videos. I’ll have to put the mechanical keyboard in the racing sim when I start using it again because it feels so dang nice to type on

If you’re an army vet, consider checking out my discord. We have other military personnel and we practice real tactics on a semi serious level. Nothing gruelling but we often practice real life military tactics to effectively achieve goals.

We defend it because to this day there is no game that comes close to the military sandbox abilities arma 3 offers. Squad does some amazing things and is an absolutely beautiful platform. I love squad, don’t get me wrong but arma 3 has more to offer in terms of sandbox

You can change the graphic settings on Xbox? Interesting. Personally I enjoy arma 3 more than reforger. I too await for big updates to tip the scales

We are going to do an advanced flying class next. But I can honestly say the tips in this video made it possible for me to fly in the heat of combat. Just keep in Mind the heavier the bird, the more time you need to allow to slow and decend. It’s an art

@@ylsgaming I'm nowhere near close to that level. I'm stuck using mouse and keyboard. No head tracker. I'm mostly broke. Flying is easy. Landing where I want to is the problem. Hovering is another problem. My birds seems to drift. No, they DO drift.

@@elfhighmage8240 drifting is something that takes alot of practice to control. Yes the head tracker helps, but the joystick is just an immersion bonus. Since it’s hard to freelook on the fly with mouse and keyboard, really practice using the instruments on the dash. Everything works and provides crucial information that will make controlling the bird much more manageable

Equpit a GPS and you should be able to see yourself

Yes the game auto saves. When you first start your save file, there is an auto save frequency option. But also you can walk up the map at your base and select persistent save

Well, after playing highly detailed games like Tarkov, the games I used to love like squad and arma look too bland now

@@JoeyC_83 tarkov will do that to other games but after putting in 2.5k hours into it the problems outweigh my love for the game so arma reforged is scratching my milsim itch

Sometimes when you get out without tapping the reverse key, it will roll away. Check downhill from where you parked it lol

Yls just had a look on steam and seen arma3 with I think 10 dlc,s for 34 quid and there's another 3 free dlc,s I can get to go with it 1 can I play all with joypad couse I'm very tempted and soz for being a pain ty

@@michaelbull2939 yeah it can work with controllers. Honestly I always tell people the get it while it’s on sale but you don’t need all the dlc, only a bit of it. My suggestion is to buy the base game, apex, jets and helis.

It’s actually not better than antistasi. They’re onto something with this game mode but so far Reforger doesn’t beat Arma 3. I’m not sure it ever will but I’m thankful they are using Reforger as the Arma 4 test platform because give me the Reforger engine with arma 3 and it will dominate the sandbox military simulator genre

@@ylsgaming Since I have arma 3 I set up an antistasi ultimate server on that and tried it out lastnight, man i need to remember how to play operation flashpoint games lol. I was debating getting Reforger in the sale, the grass is always rendered greener in the newer engine (think thats how that phrase goes) but may just stick with arma 3 (i have most of the dlc after all, missing some of the content creator stuff....but it hurts to pay for what should technically be free. I couldnt figure out why the RHS faction stuff is not showing up though, i need to look at that more.

You should join my discord community. We host a 24/7 antustasi ultimate server and we have worked day in and day out to have the right mods and make sure the community can enjoy each map we liberate. The server is populated everyday and people within the community are very happy to help. @@ylsgaming will do...I've been playing on the Nam '67 server, it's a blast. Seems pretty relaxed, it's mostly just people impersonating Vietnamese accents with very little coordination but it's a good stepping stone lol

@@voiddistortion7937 haha that’s awesome. We like to keep it pretty relaxed too. Our motto is realistic without being gruelling. So we implement some realistic settings as long as it doesn’t make the server gruelling.

H is probably double bound in your controls. Find it in your controls and change it. Sometimes it auto binds to windows key + H. Try that too
