Little prop adjustment for better cruise. Still takes off pretty good I would say. 🤘🏻

What the hell man? that's like a 50 feet takeoff? With a motorcycle engine xD
Thanks for making this video. About to start recovering my fuselage. This is great.
Can I have it? 😂
Nice aircraft
May I ask what engine?
Love the bounce assist on takeoff 😎. I’ve got a 950’ field, hoping to mow a landing strip on it and buy a Superstol XL with a titan
Yes sir! They are pretty awesome. Let me know if you have any questions. Go to my website @ www.wallenaircraftllc.com
Airshow special,300hp turbo 1 litre is pushing reliability, sick unit either way
THAT IS BEAUTIFUL, JUST WHAT I WANT TO BUILD!!!!! HOW MUCH SHOULD I EXPECT TO SPEND???????
Es precioso. Especialmente para quien le guste la mecánica, deja entreverla. Se ven unas alas muy elaboradas, largas y de perfil muy visible. Que velocidad de pérdida tiene? Saludos
The owner of that plane in ny is a super awsome guy, i hope to ride in thats sometime
It’s still an ugly box
You must be a Cirrus guy. 😂
What is the cruise going to be on this plane with that engine ?
Thank you
Where can I get more info to build one?
Give me a call during the week and I can go over what it takes to get you into building one. 864-895-2022
Very nice, what was the empty weight of the aircraft?
Looks pretty slick with the SS landing gear🤠🤠 Will you do a follow up video on how the gear performs with the Highlander ?? Thx👍
So it performs good but honestly you can use the gear to its full potential because you can't drop it in like you can with the SS wing.
@@wallenaircraftllc9153 appreciate it 👍
speak into the microphone.....
Can you not hear me? I'm an airplane builder/mechanic not a videographer haha.
Looks great. What was the total cost for that build?
$160000
That thing looks & sounds awesome! Nice work
Beautiful! I really dig the colors.
Great job
What parachute system is that ?
It's a Magnum soft pack
beautiful
Ever since Ii got to fly Rambo I've been hooked on these airplanes.
Yes they are a pretty awesome machine!!
Nice
I love it ❤
Great stuff!!
What is the useful load and cruise speed on this plane?
700lb useful load on this one. Cruise is 100mph
@@wallenaircraftllc9153 thank you. Im looking to buy in the near future
Waste of time power plant for sure
Beautiful EPEX build what is the silver part coming off the bottom of the oil tank? Cooler? Are you running the OEM low oil switch on the dipstick? Thanks
Wheooooooh iam running out of dream cash. Shure would like to have a plane like that. Highlander is looken good
I'm redoing the avionics on my highlander right now, I love yours. Mind if I ask where you sourced those rocker switches from?

Nice toy 🎉
Super slick build 🤠🤠
I LIKE the way the Oratex shows the structure underneath, besides the weight savings. Painting sucks big time! I've never seen a windowed floor, my floor is covered with a deep ridged rubber mat to catch melted snow and dirt, plus other junk. Nice bird!
Beautiful work!
Beautiful, I like everything you’ve done. I wonder if your build assist videos have information on how to do all those modifications? I will be purchasing a membership as soon as I get started 👍
It will. Just trying to get the main parts of the manual finished first.
Nice job, once again!
Thanks. The owner built probably 85% of this one. First time builder and did a great job!
I'm curious, how long did that build take? I know every plane and everyone is different, but I'd like to get a rough idea how much time I would need to commit should I do something similar.
What does she weigh?
This one has everything you can possibly put on it and it was around 870
Is that unit really that quite?
You can muffle the Apex down very well with a proper muffler. Even the turbo ones
It's very loud!!
@@wallenaircraftllc9153 get a properly sized Burns Stainless two chamber muffler on it.
How many rpm's are you turning on take off ?? 10,000-12,000??@wallenaircraftllc9153
Yamaha hahaha?
That climbs like a 757! Sweet plane, but with all of that HP, how hard it it to control the torque?
The rudder is nice and big on these planes so it's not to bad. It can be a little bit of a handful taking off with full power from a stop. But all in all it's a great flying airplane!
beautiful bird
WOWEEEE. Whats the best rate of climb
The G3X max out at like 3,800fpm. I'm guessing close to 5,000fpm.
Has anyone ever beadrolled a belly panel for stiffer panels?? Just a thought.
I haven't seen one on a JA but that would work just fine. I just don't have a bead roller.
Very good idea., nice work
Before I started my build I probably wouldn't have sprung for it, but now that I'm almost done I can say I would have used something like this on a regular basis. JAs written instructions aren't as good as seeing things in videos and pictures.
Thanks for the feedback Phil! I do appreciate it!
I'd say for most guys out there building for the first time or who just want some additional info on their build, $100 a month for this much detailed info is completely worth it. You'll spend way more than a $100 a month of your own time just trying to figure something out. Killer resource!
Thanks Keith! I think it will help a bunch of people building these kits. So far I have had very good feedback.
CRAZY EXPENSIVE !!! Why, when all the instructions come with the kit???? You would have been better off doing what Mike Patey does. Look at hid followers, AND look what he is doing for aviation. Enough said. Leaving on a positive note...... looks like you have done a good job on your site. Well organised.
Hey Miles. Well unfortunately im definitely no Mike Patey. Haha. I have reached out to a lot of current subscribers and this comes out to the price point that the customers feel they are getting what they pay for. The customers set the price point basically. Thanks for the feedback and have a great New Years!!
Beautiful work as usual man! Looks fantastic!
Thanks Keith!!
Cool I would definitely like to see some video on the Xl build with the 915
That is coming up shortly.
