Policar track is great for all the reasons you gave Mark,however the power base is crap!,ive had my policar system since 2019,and have had to buy replacement power base pieces 5 times! the quality control is rubbish,each one looked different and failed differently.

Hey any plug and play upgrade axles for GT3 cars? Merc AMG, Porsche rsr etc.?

Im tempted to buy the upgraded magnets from Harden Creek -- all I would need to do is remove the magnet cover on top and slide the magnets out hey? I might give that a go. I've never worked on an M chassis but I've built probably 50 TYCO 440x2 chassis over the last 30 years 😅

I just dug my old Tyco stuff out of the basement…needs some work since they haven’t been used in decades. I plugged in a controller and adapter to a piece of terminal track, and all 3 cars I have function. There’s a Lambo and a Porsche that I’m pretty sure I bought new as an adult and barely ever used. Then there’s a police car with lights and a siren that came with the Tyco Race & Chase set I got for Christmas one year as a kid/young teenager. Works fine…just a little beat up (ok…a LOT beat up, lol) and in need of some new rear tires that aren’t dried out and split. That siren brings back some memories. Thanks for the video! I’m gonna go through everything and see how smoothly I can get everything working.

I had a Tyco set from the early 70’s but the contacts were little round pads. Am I misremembering? I remember being able to use AFX cars on my track. My cars had light-up headlights. Used take the cars apart to clean them, put on bigger tires. Loved that set! Although the tracks were VERY temperamental!

What voltage do you run these at? Also the adjustable barrel screws are a little tough to get just right I feel like. I have one and it runs ok. But certainly could be better

They are beautiful cars!! I love when carerra comes out with nascars. I received my 4 about 3 weeks ago. Finally was able to test them yesterday. Hopefully they come out with more depending on the licensing. Thanks for the video bro!!

just started with this digital wireless (newbie). It will code 6 cars and a ghost car, auto sets to ch. 7.I've got 6 cars coded to the two controllers. Three on each controller. Three on channel one, and three on ch. two. So I can race my two GT3's against each other (one on ch 1 and one on ch 2) . The same for the other cars. I can run any pair of cars I want That still leaves 4 open channels if I choose to have other cars with seperate controllers. I'm not sure why it works; but you can run any pair of cars you want, without re-coding each time. Does the analog system work this way ??? thank you....

Hi Mark , I had The TYCO / KENBRITE ! ( HP - 2 CARS Back in the Late Seventies Early Eighties my Car's were the Porche 908 and 917 Red and Blue S light green Striped Harley Chrome plated ! Plastic with the Headlights !The carl wantef was the SUPA GLOW VETTE , But l Didn't have Enough Money on me , So l l Bought Fifteen inch Straights instead , Anyway , I'm just wondering if you have any of those !?? And Whether you have done a Running Commentary ! On them ! Myself when KENBRITE Fell into Voluntary Administration ! After there COMMAND CONTROL Cars ! ( Which l also parts of but NOT THE COMPLETE SET ! ) TYCO hate to look for another company ! Of course came up with TOLLTOYS ! there MAGNUM 440 AND HP- 7 CARS ! Im Guessing NOW , TYCO are with MATTELL ! NOW !?? The thing that gets me with TYCO because l had there 1981 Catalogue ! Therer Monogram was the same as the SARA.LEE Cheesecake company ! And TYCO HAD the statement , A Consolidated foods company ! A company Responsive to consumer Needs , the circle cut inwards on the right hand side with The black Dot in it ! ( Somtimes l wished l Could have spoken to the CEO OF TYCO ! There address was MORESTOWN NEW JERSEY ! Anyway l just thought I'd share that information with you ! We used to boil the empty chassis and put them in a machinist vise and tweak the chassis a little so we could put larger rear tires ( silicon over foam ) makes em faster . Also tyco axle was .002 smaller and would give a touch of suspension. Rarely did they pop off . . Stock AFX can run on two car batteries in series 24 volts . Very very rare they would damage engines in fact I’ve seen maybe two in ten years ( my friends included) . I dependent fronts also .
